@Kahoot I did start moving these mods to SPEX and simc_lcd_44

I get that, for weapons at least I think NF and Free World Armoury could have what you're looking for with minimal size increase. As for cosmetics, might be necessary to compromise on a few things to save the file size.

@Kahoot updates will expand using SOG. One alternative I can think of is using NF(replacing mosins, dp, maxim, using ppd-34), but still, proper M1903s, Tommy Guns and some of the headgear/eyewear are in SOG for me.

This and the Federal Army are both really great mods that fill a much needed niche. Though I am curious as to if SOGPF is really necessary? Paired with SPE it's about 60+GB of DLCs for what seems to just be a handful of weapons that could easily be replaced. Currently it feels a bit of a large barrier to entry having both DLCs as a necessity, which is a shame because more people should absolutely get to try this modset.

This is super cool!!! Honestly I hope you keep dev-ing this, I'm about to just mess around creating some missions with it for sure!

Commie revolutions are either coordinated by or sponsored by the Soviets, due to economic constraints catagoristic of the proletariat.

Domestic production belongs squarely to the capitalists. It's not like their membership are very wealthy, so while some members may own their own hunting rifles and revolvers (being they are American), a $200 Thompson is out of the question, and things like BARs and M1919s are even harder to supply than they are to acquire.

The real trouble with communist logistics is that running a massive conglomeration of modern factories is actually hard. Communists can't simply "seize the means of production", because they don't know how to use the means of production. Instead, they have to reinvent everything from scratch. They do have the husk of whats left of the capitalist system as a cheat sheet, but it still takes time none the less.

I know this is nothing to do with ARMA, but I find this stuff fascinating and like to tism about it.

I wish there was more alt-history stuff for arma 3 like this I would love to see Hoi4 mods inspired ones such as stuff from TNO or TFR.

It's nice to see Soviet content on Arma that isn't just "EVIL 1984 EMPIRE RAAAH"
