Do you have Quake 3 GMOD active? Or any other gore/gib addon that may interfere?

Slight change is out!

Ragdolls now disappear after death, every kind of ragdoll, including the player and the base game npc ragdolls. ANYTHING ANYTHING.

Ragdolls now disappear after death!

This only works for custom npcs that have real ragdolls, physical entities. Most npcs from (base game) NPCs (like HL2 zombies) do not create physical ragdolls when they die, so their bodies are not be affected by this change.

This is a limitation of the Source Engine as far as I know. I tried making all the ragdolls disappear but turns out that cant happen at all. So, here you have it, ragdolls disappear but not the ones from base game.

Small update, the mod can now be disabled/enabled by using a command!
q3gore_disable 0 (This is the default)
q3gore_disable 1 (This fully disables the addon)

Yep, I also want them so we can finally have all the Quake sweps! I already have it done and will launch it soon!

Huh just me then oh well, maybe the sweps could be another thing why it does it since they do gib but ah well. Having the sweps themselves would be nice actually been wanting that solo so I don't have to have the gamemode on, plus can complete the pack for the quake 1 and 2 sweps, I'd say go for it I'd definitely use it!

To me it works even with the QUAKE 3 GMOD addon on! I was thinking of making a separate addon that will simply add the Quake 3 sweps, as I also want this for myself!

so after testing, same errors as before having the gmod quake gamemode enabled at all on sandbox and same one that occured when having gamemode disabled and had to restart, other than that it works flawlessly without issues or errors :steamthumbsup:

Huh that is strange gave no errors or issues for you, not sure why it gave the errors to me then if it didn't happen to you while on the actual game mode while i was just on sandbox, wish i had an answer for that and i hope im the last to get this error. That is odd, but thank you for doing the change on the folders none the less it'll help for sure me and others if they have it too.

Hm, I will not update the folder names because the bloodspray have no texture now...Well, I guess it will stay as it stands!

No it will not, and at the moment is still not giving me any errors, I also have QUAKE 3 GMOD on...so I dont know why you get errors?! I literally played with QUAKE 3 GMOD on and got no error about the gore...However, for convenience I will still change the name of the folders!

No problem, for the time being, i”m trying to make the own selection for the addon so it doesnt interfere with the effects from QUAKE 3 GMOD. I changed them quite a lot, of course they will give errors when this addon and Quake 3 Gmod itself is on.

so ive done both testing on sandbox only on the 32x branch and did disable the gamemode and got this instead?

You are trying the gib mod with Quake 3 GMOD...I took some of the effects from there, you cant play with this gib mod while having QUAKE 3 GMOD active! I made my own gib script and overall changed the effects and more, that is why these errors occur, disable QUAKE 3 GMOD, it already has gibbing included. I will however change the name of the effects so this error wont occur anymore!

You can easily get the sweps from thw workshop, I think the playermodels too but I am not so sure. However, I also changed the system a lot, and overall created my own gib script. So that is why it may show errors with Quake 3 GMOD.
