@painterkid904 I wrote a program that read the map data out of the game, and then wrote mirrored copies into a new folder. The program ended up being 3,032 lines of c++ in the end

@notsone that is strange, I can't get it to freeze between those rooms even with Downpour enabled. Were you playing on a new save? My only guess is on an old save the creature spawns were already cached and something tried to come out of a den that became a door post-flip (they both contribute to the den indices for some reason, not even sure if creatures can spawn from normal doors).

Then again, this mod went from a quick little test to a finished product in just 3 weeks, so I'm surprised it's not way more broken than it is :slugcatdead:

I sure hope there's no issue with my mod containing every vanilla room in it. If there is I'll remove it, but until then I'll just hope it falls under the same legal gray area as the no poles mod.

The mod has absolutely no dlc content inside it, which is why having more slugcats enabled breaks room connections. I've decided I am just going to keep msc completely unsupported as mirroring msc objects and connections in vanilla rooms would in-turn introduce them to the vanilla game, I don't think there's a way around that. :lario:

Hey, I'm not sure if having a mod that has every vanilla room in it is too good of an idea. There was a prior mod that included a couple More Slugcats regions entirely in it that got taken off the workshop. Although maybe this is fine since you'd still need the game to run the mod (as opposed to if DLC regions were included, since those could be loaded with just base game and not the DLC.) Still, this effect should be possible to do with code (load geometry and baking arrays backwards, flip camera positions, flip placed object positions) so perhaps trying to figure out a code-based solution would be less legally dubious.

I once made a Mirrored version of SU_C04 and pondered the concept of the entire world being mirrored.. I'm BEYOND excited to look at this mod in other words

I think the room connection issues are directly related to MoreSlugcats being enabled. I thought forcing a higher load order would get around all of the msc map changes, I'll have to come up with a better solution.

i found a slight problem while trying this out. in room SH_B10, it seems that the pipe connecting it to SH_D02 leads to SH_HELPOUT instead. also in some rooms the room itself is mirrored but the pipe connections are not (SH_B10 and SL_D01 are examples). the normal pipe connection for SH_B10 to SH_HELPOUT also seems to be gone alongside the poles that are on/near the connection in SH_B10's side. I have restarted the cycle to check if its just a bug with the cycle and it isnt. Great mod other than those issues! its fun to see the rooms backwards
