When one of my mods has big problems, I tend to hide them until I fix them. This way, I avoid it getting filled with comments from people mentioning that problem and it gives me time to fix the errors without so much pressure.

Mods are voluntarily produced and voluntarily used. Not everything is oriented around minmaxing your killrate online and you're not required to use it, and he's not required to give a shit what anybody thinks about it. You can give feedback, sure, but understand it IS "your opinion" and he's NOT required to listen to the community. He's not required to make his mod open to the public at all.

Actually like the mod and where it is heading. my only suggestion is to let us turn off/on the breathe. It feels weird on hot desert maps.

@Kozak One thing is a fact another is a opinion. Arma 3 is infact via description a Sandbox Military Shooter with endless possibility for content creation. Now this mod HAS a problem regarding its poor visibility for any ranged scenario a buggy sky box, horrid DOF that impacts game-play & Immersion which should be addressed, this mod aims to make arma feel more alive not handy cap players who use this or ruin immersion for doing as much as just flying a damn plane or playing at night which obviously are part of the game.

and lastly this Author has a very poor self-management in receiving feedback far as muting me from commenting and ignoring genuine issues making changes that make the game worse bc they cant use common sense to what do and not do.

And probably turn ingame blurs, DoF, etc, down to 0 since Remaster is already doing some stuff on that front, too.

Additional discovery, if you're using Blastcore Murr, they have a heat haze, and it seems Remaster has a heat haze, if you use both it doubles up on the effect, so try it with Blastcore's heat haze disabled. That helps a lot with the swimming image

I have some fresh feedback, having reactivated it since your updates. First off, some of the things I felt were issues are much better now. Still present, but improved.

I also realised that the issues appear much more pronounced on Tanoa for some reason (particularly the Tanoa Escape mission). Not sure if it's the map, lighting, or something, but it's much better for example on Malden, Altis, etc.

I also found that applying some sharpening helps quite a bit with the overall fuzziness. Do you have any recommended settings for coloration, sharpness, etc?

What the game is is different things to different people. Not every mod has to be focused on min-maxing FPS and kill rates. Mods are by definition optional

also one thing u do have to consider is that this is ARMA and combat & immersion are what makes the game what it is, messing with DOF ( which barely anyone uses as it is a dis-advantage bc its harder to spot things without some sort of optics. ) and having bugs for the sky & eden editor are things that need to be corrected, you started this project and had a vision for it but some things about it are just either unnecessary and conflicting with game-play, your mod should focus on both play ability AND immersion not just immersion arma also has its limitations and some things are better left untouched.

You as a mod creator need to grow patience and respect everyone's critics on the mod and take action on what is best for the players who use your mod, me and Coda have a good point.

1. Restarting the mission is just a way to replicate and visualize the bug. I'm not saying this is the ONLY way this issue appears, it can happen naturally during gameplay too.

2. People frequently restart missions over and over in the editor when they're testing their scenarios, or just messing around with the editor. People definitely do it and if your mod is causing a bug when using a feature is intended, i think that's fair criticism.

I can fix both the obscuration errors when looking at the sun in Zeus and the black and white errors by repeatedly restarting a mission in Eden, but I would completely lose the antialiasing.

I'm starting to get annoyed when people ask for specific things like DOF. I can't make everyone happy; some will tell me one thing and others another. Ultimately, this looks completely different from my original vision.

I think a good idea that might not take a ton of work would be to add a version that only contains the following changes:

*Natural ambience like wind, leaves, dust and trash moving around.
*Procedural nature: forests and natural zones generate more dynamic objects during play.
*Trees react to wind: they drop leaves or can fall from strong gusts or explosions.

The other features might take a lot of work to make everyone happy, but this version would be nice for people who just want the bare minimum and don't care for a lighting/weather/fx overhaul. Good luck with development in the future.

The contrast/lighting bug is still present, and can be replicated. Place a unit down in eden and start the mission in single player. Each time you restart the mission from the pause menu, the screen will get whiter and more obscured until the game is unplayable. You can see it in this screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/6eSc2Wk

@天使 just checked out the very recent update u made, thank you for removing the white gradient visual effect, a small change that would be nice is to reduce the depth of field a bit since at night lights look meh other than that just please revert the sky box to vanilla OR fix it from turning into space once u fly past View distance then the mod is perfect 0 issues after those changes are done.

I truly apologize for any emotional inconvenience i've cause seriously this mod is great just these final touches and that's all i wouldn't see how anyone could complain

You're ignoring the more important points, zeus blur issue is ight no big deal. but the white gradient effects messing with visibility & the sky box being bugged for both players & zeus is something to not ignore.

The white gradient on the screen makes it hard to see at night and at day can be nice but breaks immersion if you go inside of buildings or under shadows you still have that white gradient making it annoying overall i would love if you could do something about it either remove it or find a way that it can be adjusted via add-on settings because visibility is a lot more important than effects. in Zeus if you go up a couple meters your screen will darken or sometimes even blur. 3rd issue, in Zeus Or as a player if you fly high enough past your view distance the entire sky will just turn into space with the stars surrounding everything, i'd recommend sticking to the vanilla sky box so if you're in Zeus or flying any sort of aircraft and exit your view distance range you aren't just in the middle of space breaking immersion.

I've fixed several issues that have been mentioned to me.

From a viewing distance,
Colors or spots that look strange on several screens.
Lighting too dark or too bright.
Sun too low.
Filter very annoying.

This version should work much better for everyone overall.

hey, la razor por la que el juego se ve gris & apagado, en la noche se ve la mitad de la pantalla de arriba as ta el medio y como 3 circulos abajo en la izquierda de la pantalla es por el HDR del monitor, los effectos que pusiste son mucho mas visibles con hdr haciendo que el juego se vea mas mierda. Pienso que es mejor que no tengas esos effectos paresidos a HDR en el primer logar y dejar que otros mods como Real Lighting & Weather se encargen de esos cambios. Aparte de eso to do lo demas esta lindo.

Alrighty well, i did find a fix for the view distance stuff. Just gotta have CH View Distance and that should work.
