@markus.henn1711 you're welcome! Hope you're enjoying it.

@Cpl.geckell Hope you like the two houses.

@Paradox So I think it's fully compatible. I'm trying to understand better what the mod does as I don't use it. Does it just edit/change minor houses that are not canon? Is it only used during house customer/creation? I do not change coa or motto files at all, at least not yet. I believe the reason it needed a patch with Minor House Flavour is because the author had created a new house (Bricker) that required edits to many files that House Founders edit. So I think you should be ok.

is this mod compatible with agot house founders?

YESSSSS
markus.henn1711 31 Jul @ 11:16pm
Just wanted to say thank you
Your Mom's Favorite 31 Jul @ 12:51pm
Oh yeah, totally compatible with the Armies, but I dig the unique flavor and army compositions your mod will add.
Eber  [author] 31 Jul @ 9:19am
@Pilatian Thanks for the feedback. I'm actually going through every single perk for every house and toning some down to make it more balanced and streamlined.
Pilatian 31 Jul @ 1:29am
Also just noting for your list, all great houses (and the Hightowers) except Stark have % renown bonuses applicable to all members at some point in their legacy track.

Stark have flat .5 per member, which is also a pretty significant boost. It takes 25 or 30 members just to get .5 from total living members of the dynasty.

I do get the idea of boosting their renown generation and ensuring they remain in place to some extent, but the numbers on it could be toned down considerably.
Pilatian 31 Jul @ 1:24am
In the same vein as renown, 'Golden Lion' for the Lannisters applies that +3 flat income to all members of the dynasty, and can easily be abused by a player using Abduct/Imprison>Banish on Lannisters. Maybe just increase the bonus to domain taxes or add a 10-15% reduction in MAA maintenance (plentiful ore in the hills). Either would only affect the rulers.
Abracadabel 30 Jul @ 11:02am
That would be amazing and quick dont stress it, if you need any help just let me know (although I tried to add some terrain bonusus myself and accadentaly made the MAA free of costs...)
Eber  [author] 30 Jul @ 9:44am
@Your Mom's Favorite Ah, no need to turn it off if you don't want. They're compatible. House Brax and House Massey will be in the next update. I'll note the other two.

@10k Great idea. I'll look into doing that.

@Abracadabel Yeah, I know. It's something I need to go back and really rework for all the units. I will do that for the next update. Thanks for the feedback!

@Cpl.geckell I hadn't planned on it but after reading up on them, I got excited to do Upcliffe. It will be in the next update.

@Pilatian Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I think I need to rework the renown bonuses for all the houses. I wanted to buff renown gain a little, but I overdid it. Thanks for the feedback!
Pilatian 30 Jul @ 6:37am
The +10% renown from each dynasty member for House Targaryen seems a bit excessive, since it applies the % bonus to the total renown generation and has no individual cap. Currently receiving +116 renown each month after getting that and have already blazed through another legacy track in a couple of decades.
Cpl.geckell 30 Jul @ 5:25am
FINALLY A MANWOODY DYNASTY! Now all I need is Upcliffe
Abracadabel 29 Jul @ 10:48pm
@Eber I love the mod, works great and it realy helps me to immerse in the smaller houses. One thing I noticed with some of the special man at arms is that their terrain bonuses make 0 sense.

For example the Knights of the Mist for the Mertyns house dont have an advantage in cloudforest while the whole region is that terrain type. I would say they would have an advantage there before they do in mountains.
Or the Goldengrove Lancers for house Rowan have a Steppe advantege and no meadows. Granted they have only one meadow country but the nearest steppe is above the Neck, wich I dont think they would have been there.
All this to say that maybe look at some man at arms and check to see if the terrain bonusus make sense for the region they are in.

Other than that the mod is amazing and I am curious how it looks when finished
10k 29 Jul @ 8:14pm
a special building for harrentown (town right outside of harrenhal) would be amazing, as during the great council of 101 A.C. it was briefly considered the fourth largest city in westeros. i imagine it having multiple level ups to it. It would just add even more flavor when playing as a house ruling harrenhal.
Your Mom's Favorite 29 Jul @ 1:02pm
With your mod on, I turn off Armies of Westeros so that the flavor is only with the special units from your mod.

House Bulwer in the Reach

House Massey in the Crownlands

House Fell in the Stormlands

House Brax in the Westerlands

Are my votes for the next ones.
Eber  [author] 29 Jul @ 8:54am
One request I have for people who are playing with the mod is to give feedback. Let me know your thoughts especially when it comes to balance. I know my legacy effects are more than the standard ones. Do you believe this has created an imbalance? Should I cut some legacies down as they are too OP? Also let me know about MAA. Are they balanced and actually useful? I know many use Armies of Westeros so does my MAA units compare stat whise and are worthwhile?

These answers will help in me in editing and making the mod better over time.
Eber  [author] 27 Jul @ 11:06am
@LemurKing Thanks. It's working as intended actually. Getting renown, especially in AGOT, can be difficult to do since conquering isn't usually as easy as as it is in the base game. So it takes hundreds of years to get enough renown to finish a couple legacy tracks. Also, and I'm not 100% this is right, but I know there is a cap of 2 renown per month for members of a family.
LemurKing 27 Jul @ 9:35am
Just going to mention that the Baratheon "Storm and Crown" legacy is probably behaving in an unintended way. Each character in the dynasty benefits from the legacy, so rather than getting a simple +5% renown you are in fact getting an extra 5% per dynasty member. It's not really an issue since the Baratheons already start with high renown so it honestly helps get the increasingly-expensive legacies, but I just thought I'd bring it up.
Eber  [author] 27 Jul @ 5:52am
@Wepo94 yes! I use that mod too. If that mod already has a special building in a location I was considering, I move on so there is no overwrite. They are perfectly compatible.
Wepo94 27 Jul @ 3:52am
Hey, is this mod compatible with cow-agot, since it adds new special building ?
Eber  [author] 26 Jul @ 2:02pm
@Heretic I don't play with that mod but my assumption is that Alessian has Highgarden right? So they are the LP of the Reach and the Tyrells are their vassal?

I'm not sure how they coded the Alessians but they may have made them, in code, the Tyrells and moved the Tyrells, in code, to a custom one. That would make it so my mod would give the Alessians the Tyrell's legacies.

@Bishop Heket of the Old Faith They're the last house that made it in the next update!
Definitely waiting for Vypren first. Frog House Best House.
Heretic 26 Jul @ 1:02pm
The mod has a small incompatibility with the Alessian dynasty mod - it assigns the Tyrell legacy to Alessians instead of Tyrells
Eber  [author] 26 Jul @ 9:41am
@DehCard Glad it works!

@Orson Tazau So I do have plans for some of the dead houses but not necessarily all. House Durrandon, Gardener, Tarbeck, and even Mudd can be revived through the natural game if you use the right minor house or find the appropriate characters. I plan on doing legacies for Durrandon and Gardener for sure as there are current houses that use them as their parent house. For the others you listed, I'm not sure. The only way you could revive them is by the house customizer. I may eventually do some but I don't know how much demand there is for them.
DehCard 25 Jul @ 5:14pm
@Eber sorry for the week late reply (i just didnt check my notifcations) anyway it turns out another mod which i didnt update due to it not being on steam conflicted with this mod on opening the game. I removed it and it works great now.
Orson Tazau 25 Jul @ 6:32am
Do you think it would be possible to create some bloodlines and dynasty legacies for dead Houses—or better yet, all the dead Houses with more lore and importance? I think it would be awesome for roleplay purposes and in general. The Houses I personally have in mind are: Mudd, Durrandon, Gardener, Casterly, Frost, Greenwood, Fisher, Justman, Teague and Greyiron.
Eber  [author] 24 Jul @ 10:57am
@Savvy_Panda You're absolutely right about Nymeros Martell. Though it is usual to just see the name Martell, when we are doing lore, it is important to note the Andal Martell and the Rhoynish Nymeria. I did ensure I included their union in legacy 1. Yet, you made me realize I should have continued to use Nymeros Martell as that is the dynasty I was adding the legacies to. So I changed the legacy track to Nymeros Martell and any mention of Martell to that. I also changed up legacy 1 to include sailing modifiers. Thanks for the great feedback!
Savvy_Panda 24 Jul @ 9:46am
tl;dr- To make the Nymeros Martells legacy distinct from Dornish, give them maybe an increased naval speed or reduce embarkation fee (i.e. Ten Thousand Ships), make sure it's under Nymeros Martell and not just the Martell Dynasty.
Savvy_Panda 24 Jul @ 9:46am
Note- it's technically House Nymeros Martell, while it is under the "Martell Dynasty". I bring this up because the "Martells" are technically Andals and their legacy starts off with "Rhoynish Inheritance." But you are not incorrect.
Nymeria landed in Dorne with what remained of her 1000 (though some say 10,000) ships after escaping from Valyria's conquest. She married Mors Martell, bringing her troops and knowledge of warfare to unite Dorne. Mors fell in battle and Nymeria took control. She also established equal inheritance in Dorne, as she had four daughters with Mors and only son by her second husband. To keep the Martell line, her eldest daughter inherited.
Not sure when, either marrying Mors or when he fell, that the Martell name became Nymeros Martell, but a Martell would definitely honor Nymeria. The Sun in the Nymeros Martell sigil represents her and the spear originates from the Martells. I think they allow the rest of Westeros to call them "Martell" but aren't pleased by it.
Eber  [author] 24 Jul @ 6:22am
@10K House Shett is on my list and will probably be added in the next update.

@Diomedian_Swap Thanks man! The Great Houses were a bit more difficult since they have so much lore that I wanted to include a good amount from the Wiki. So there were not as many opportunities to stretch my creative legs except for segments like that. It's fun to write especially for houses that may not have as much established lore so I can write more creatively based on character personalities we may know or such.
Тюленьчеке 24 Jul @ 3:23am
@Eber Thanks a lot, we will support him as long as possible.
Diomedian_ Swap 23 Jul @ 8:30pm
"Lions do not snarl - they wait. And when they roar, all of Westeros listens. From the hills of the Westerlands to the steps of the Throne, their fury as ended bloodlines and built legacies. It is not their wealth that terrifies - but happens when it is no longer enough. The words "Hear Me Roar!" are not a warning - they are a prophecy. When a Lannister roars, kingdoms tremble, debts are called called, and crowns fall.
(Their silence means calculation. Their roar means war.)"

WRITE A NOVEL. HOLY SHIT
Bro made the goofiest words actually sound badass
10k 23 Jul @ 7:27pm
any chance you might do house shett? would love to play as them with some extra flavor
Huitzi0 23 Jul @ 4:37pm
Hell yeah
Eber  [author] 23 Jul @ 3:25pm
@Huitzi0 So I have plans for the Gardeners and Durango's. I think it would do them a disservice if I just add them to another dynasty. Unlike Salt with Hoare or Vikary with Reyne is that Baratheon and Tyrell are not part of either of those legendary dynasties.

So I'll be doing House Durrandon and House Gardener independently. House Wensington and House Bolling both can restore Durrandon so will receive the same legacy. The same goes for House Oldflowers for Gardener. There's also a chance I may do a House Mudd dynasty with some events since supposedly some descendants are in the Golden Company.

@Lufian Thanks! Glad you're enjoying it.

@Tюленьчекe Great. I will add it!
Тюленьчеке 23 Jul @ 2:22pm
Hi author, I made a Russian translation for your mod with a friend, I would really appreciate it if you pin it in the localization section https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3532578387&searchtext=Bloodlines%3A+Legacies+of+AGOT
Lufian 23 Jul @ 1:13pm
This is a really great mod that adds extra flavour to the AGOT mod
Huitzi0 23 Jul @ 12:37pm
Can we get Durrandons and Gardner included with Tyrell and Baratheon legacioes?
Diomedian_ Swap 23 Jul @ 10:19am
Yep just found the issue not long after I comment. Apologies for my hasty comment
Eber  [author] 23 Jul @ 10:04am
@Diomedian_Swap So the legacies work correctly. Based off your two examples that do not work, it's probably because those two houses, along with Stark and Bolton have one legacy in the AGOT mod. My mod disables that one legacy and replaces it with my legacy track. So most legacies are reyne_legacy_1 or blackwood_legacy_3. However, with the noted ones, it's actually stark_legacy_1_BLA or forrester_legacy_3_BLA.
Eber  [author] 23 Jul @ 9:32am
@Mirae So as I was testing a new decision to create the Kingdom of Arbor, I noticed that AGOT already has another decision to create the Kingdom of the Arbor Straits. The only difference between these two decisions is that AGOT's decision requires an additional duchy. Because of this, I scrapped the idea as I didn't think it was needed anymore due to AGOT already having something in place.
Eber  [author] 21 Jul @ 3:45am
@Tureno It is compatible. I'd recommend have this as low in your load order as possible.
Tureno 20 Jul @ 6:48pm
Is this compatible with Armies of Westeros or do I have to choose one over the other? And is there a recommended load order or can it go anywhere after AGOT?
Eber  [author] 20 Jul @ 2:04pm
@Savvy_Panda Yeah when AGOT expands with new cultures, I will definitely add legacies. It'll be interesting to see.

@DarkEagle7322 Glad you found the issue! Hope you're enjoying the mod.
DarkEagle7322 20 Jul @ 3:45am
I found the problem is that I had the AGOT Non Canon Houses mod.
I delete him and the mod works properly.
DarkEagle7322 20 Jul @ 3:16am
I added the mod to the end, and the problem persists.
I'll have to check which mod is causing the problem.
Savvy_Panda 19 Jul @ 10:47pm
Always a pleasure to help! I think since we've also been teased the Dothraki for the next update, and they already exist as a culture, that might be another culture Legacy track to consider. Khans of the Steppe really added a lot to consider with the whole migration/tributary system. Even in Legacy of Valyria they haven't implemented that new system yet, though they have some of their territory on the map. They're kinda sedentary though with little tribal holdings and not really Dothraki-ish. That should be pretty damn interesting when it comes out. I wouldn't rush to do anything yet, (again, I'm not expecting you to implement code for a system we have no confirmation on) but maybe just jot down some ideas and keep it on the back burner.

And yeah, the Targaryens are kinda OP as long as they have dragons. I think that's what makes the whole Dance of Dragons or people trying to jump start their own interesting.
Eber  [author] 19 Jul @ 7:55pm
@Savvy_Panda Thanks for the thoughtful response. You're right about the dragon riding track and that it's not really specific to the Targaryens. Like you said, their track would actually focus on their dynasty and attributes, not be so generic. I think the main reason I said what I did is that the Targaryens are pretty strong in every bookmark except Robert's Rebellion. They don't technically need any assistance whereas some of the other main houses are relatively weaker than they probably should be.

However, I get what you're saying and it makes even more sense if you're using the Legacy of Valyria which I think a lot of players are using. I can include them and after the next big update, I may make changes to their legacy depending on what I see with the update. My main thing is to be relatively consistent and balanced in my legacies, though I may fail at it sometimes (if you see an imbalance let me know!).
Savvy_Panda 19 Jul @ 4:56pm
As a thought regarding Targaryens, since that legacy is more about being a Dragonriding house and the mod is slowly pushing more Eastward, would you reconsider doing it down the line? Dragonriding seems more a Valyrian thing in general and it's just that they really are one of the two last Dragonriding Houses that were left (I don't think Celtigar had any but not 100% sure; I know Velaryon did.) Maybe instead of dragonriding stuff have it focusing on conquering, martial and right-to-rule sort of stuff? There's also the King's Peace gameplay aspect which will come out in the next big update, so I feel like that might be something the Targaryens would have a bonus in. (Aerys and Rhaenyra didn't get that bonus)

This is all conjecture of course, and I'd honestly rather have you consider as something down the line. *Especially* because I love using this mod with Legacy of Valyria.
Eber  [author] 19 Jul @ 2:35pm
@LemurKing So funny enough that's not my mod. It's the AGOT mod that decided that. My mod just adds a legacy track. I had to check to make sure.

@Savvy_Panda I'm actually already working on the Great Houses. Stark is done. I won't be doing Targaryen though for now since they have the dragon rider track. You're right that I want to put some good attention to them.

@DarkEagle7322 It is probably another mod. Make sure my mod is loaded last. That may correct any issues without going mod by mod.
