I've just uploaded a new update (v2.2) that addresses the problems you pointed out:
- The visual bug with the large city name labels appearing on the minimap when TerrainImage was disabled has been fixed.
- The issue with the forest and vegetation overlay has also been resolved.
- The errors from the Pastebin link have been addressed to prevent them from appearing again.
I hope this new version provides a much smoother experience. Thank you for your feedback and testing!

When you disable `TerrainImage` in the in-game settings, The large map labels introduced in 42.11 become visible on the minimap.
Disregard if I'm mistaken on this one. I think I remember map key colors being visible on buildings when `TerrainImage` was both on and off. Now they're only visible when it's off.
This is the stack trace from the console.txt full log is too large for pastebin

The new map labels for major and minor locations don't disappear when you zoom in far enough like they're supposed to.
Street names, and well as town/city and other locations such as McCoy's Logging are supposed to each have their own font style and colors, but they're all exactly the same.
If the minimap is allowed, the "Toggle Minimap" button appears when hovering over the map icon, under other icons on the left margin.
I’ve tested the mod with and without other mods, and it normally doesn’t prevent the minimap from showing. If it’s not visible even with 0 mods, the issue is likely in your layout config file. Try this:
- Go to C:\Users\<YourUserName>\Zomboid\Lua\layout.ini
This file stores UI layout (position/visibility). If you changed screen resolution recently, the minimap might be offscreen or hidden.
- Open it and check for a section about miniMap0. Make sure it says visible=true.
- Still not working? Backup and delete layout.ini. The game will regenerate it on launch.
- Also check: ModOptions.ini (same folder). Delete lines with MinimapStyleOptions or remove the file entirely (after backup) to reset mod settings.
Let me know if it helps!
You can choose whether the minimap’s button bar appears at the top or bottom , allowing you to align the map flush with the bottom edge of the screen.
Go to ESC > Options > Mods > Minimap Style Options to adjust it.
Thanks for the feedback!
Can you add a setting to move the minimap button to the top or remove it?
It would be better if the map was actually at the bottom without being blocked by the button.
-Resizable window (work in progress)
-Darker map option
-Option to display vehicles and enemies
-Ability to draw markers directly on the minimap
-Ability to copy and paste markers without searching for them in the symbols menu
-Ability to rotate symbols
-Option to disable automatic centering on the character
Thank you all for your feedback and testing!
If the minimap is allowed, the "Toggle Minimap" button appears when hovering over the map icon, under other icons on the left margin.
