also forgot to mention, that Character Editor there's some... weird artifacts showing off, also happens when the pawn sleeps to the side with yayo's animations

And just to clarify, are you talking about pawns with face extensions (like the Mind Devourer), non-human heads (like Drakonori), or eye textures (like Efreet)? I just want to be sure things are working as intended!

Hello! I wanted to suggest some options for this mod, like not having blinking animations for certain xenotypes, I play with xenotypes from Alpha Genes and some of those lack normal eyes, and they look... funny when the animation is active

So if you could add an option to exclude xenotypes for these animations it would be great!

@(≡◉‿‿◉≡), i haven't tested it yet, but I don't see why not. they're very different systems. as long as you have the eyelid textures for a head type and completely disable facial animation for the pawn (like with Big & Small genes), it should be fine

It's ridiculous how much of a difference such a simple animation makes. Pawns feel so much more alive with this mod. Awesome work! :-)

Sooooo...Does this mod work compatibly with Facial Animation?

Like if I turn off the face animation of some xenotypes on the list (e.g pigskin & dryads VRE), they will show up with the vanilla eyes blinking?

@Hypersapien, it should already have eyes closed when sleeping. Could you send me a link to your HugsLib log? What circumstances were you expecting to see eyes closed and they weren't--in bed sleeping, unconcious on the ground, etc?

This is great and ads a bit of character to the pawns. I have one suggestion. You have two frames, eyes open and eyes closed. When the character is resting, lock it onto the eyes closed frame.

Hi! I love the mod — it makes my colonists expressive but not overly exaggerated like other facial mods. Plus, it's partially compatible with another mod I really enjoy, The Covenant, where most other facial mods are incompatible and end up turning the Covenant into humans.

The only bug I noticed is that the blinking animation appears slightly lower on the face than it should, but it’s not very noticeable and easy to ignore.

I don’t know if it’s too much to ask, but would it be possible to make a patch for better compatibility?
Keep up the great work — this is an excellent mod!

Ahh, just wondering is the solid color, no-low opacity required. Covered from the visor mods?

hello, really nice mod, makes all the pawns much more human. However I tried disabling the eyelids option and nothing changed. Not sure if I understood it correctly, but this option is to make so pawns keep their eyes open when dead, right? Really wanted something like this so the dead pawns doesnt look like they are sleeping. Would be cool if some of them kept their eyes closed and others kept them open.

To be completely honest, the portraits not blinking is 100% fine, in fact I really would prefer it that way! Can't wait for 2x textures, finding them in a style that matches the base game to a T is not easy

this doesn't work on Anomaly creeps with the "body mastery" trait because the trait forces the pawn to have white eyes, an overSIGHT im assuming.

also is there a way to extend support to Eye Implants Retextured? Extensible only lists methods for head types

I summoned the Mechanitor ship and the dessicated corpse has their eyes closed. I don't mind it, just read that you said to let you know :)

Oh my god it always drove me nuts how they don't close their eyes when sleeping, that should be the most basic of animation in the vanilla game.

good mod some skeleton corpses still have eyelids that are fully fresh though i think its a glitch
