@jaemissesmobo, I was thinking about that before, but it ended up just dragging zombies 1500 tiles, and that is what the trait is about. You get it for dragging zombies because you get used to

maybe when a certain strength requirement is met you're given it idk

@spinnywhy, how so? have you tried both already? what kind of compatibility do you mean?:deadrat:
spinnywhy 6 Aug @ 11:48am
can u add compatibility to evolving traits mod, feel this fits that
Neighz  [author] 27 Jul @ 10:22am
@Itu_utn, Idk, I don't have that trait, but if it does something similar to mine, then mine will override that one if you get it later in-game I think. You'll have to try and see
ltu_utn 27 Jul @ 12:48am
does it work with well-fitted trait? or gets over written since previous one gives 50%?

@Primedew, I actually thought about making the .lua script read that there's a corpse in your inventory and then track how many tiles you move with it. But… none of my mods are for B41, if you’ve noticed, and that’s because I’m already fully into B42. I won’t be going back to B41. And you know, constantly having to change versions is tedious... :deadrat:
Primedew 26 Jul @ 12:23pm
oooh ..damn...didn't know that to be honest....so it works by using grapple mechanic in b42... is there no possibility for b41 at all? like detecting tiles traversed while having corpse in inventory or something?

@loccatpowersdog, I tried making the sandbox setting for the three options: weight reduction, trait cost, and dragged tiles... But sadly, I couldn’t make it work:deadrat:. Maybe I’ll figure it out later. For now, trust me that 1,500 tiles is fair. It took me two in-game days to earn the trait by cleaning my base of hundreds of zombies. And since I’m using my mod to drag bodies 80% faster, I think it’ll take around three days, or five at most, to get that trait in-game. So, I believe it’s fair I tested it myself:spiffo:
@JosephTheAmazing, Yes man, actually that was the main reason for my mod. If you look at the mod preview, you'll see the military bulletproof vest, which is heavy to wear but looks so good. I wanted to find a way to justify it while also keeping it in line with my other mod of dragging zombies. Logically, if you carry too much weight, eventually you get used to it, and I wanted to make it make sense. That's how it all came together

Also thanks for making this mod, I always wished there was a way to make heavier gear like firemen clothes and the new armor lighter so I could hold more loot.

Oh wow what a pairing with the drag speed mod, love companion ideas like this especially from the same author!

Feels similar to the mods that can let you earn Desensitized or Brave via a min/max kill window in Sandbox Options. Curious if the threshold (it says 1500 dragged tiles) for "earning" the trait is or could be a sandbox option?

Slightly unrelated but between this mod Trait & choosing XP/endurance drain with the boosted speeds it takes a nice feature to awesome gameplay & RP potential! Does the weight related stats of Grapple Effectiveness play in at all, stack alongside?
Neighz  [author] 26 Jul @ 11:18am
@JosephTheAmazing, Yes, safe to add mid game :spiffo:
JosephTheAmazing 26 Jul @ 10:25am
Is this mod safe to add mid game, or is a new save needed to have it work properly?
Neighz  [author] 26 Jul @ 10:08am
@Primedew, Is 42 only, and yeah.. I know it will, but think about it… B41 does not have dragging zombies, so what tile is going to be counted? :deadrat:
Primedew 26 Jul @ 10:04am
this would be very popular in multiplayer
Primedew 26 Jul @ 10:00am
b41, pretty please

@Knight Of Acedia, I don’t have any traits on my end that do the same thing, but just thinking logically. If two traits modify the same thing, they probably won’t stack. So if one trait gives, say, 10%, and mine gives 25%, and you load mine after in the load order, then mine should override the other one(you will end up with 25% at least for the equipment weight part). If that other trait also does something else, like making you faster or something idk, that should still stack and work, since my code doesn’t touch that part
Knight Of Acedia 26 Jul @ 7:42am
will this stack or replace with modded traits that do the same thing?

@driga7 [玉], I’ve pushed an update for the mod. Now, you can earn the trait by moving zombies a total of 1500 tiles. The progress is cumulative. For example, if you drag one zombie 10 tiles, it counts as 10. Move another zombie the same 10 tiles, and you’ll have 20, and so on. Once you reach 1500 tiles, you’ll earn the trait :steamhappy:.
Neighz  [author] 24 Jul @ 8:24am
@driga7 [玉], I use the mod " Trait Purchase System " to get it mid-game. I'm still thinking of ways to add it into the game, like getting it at full strength or after moving a bunch of corpses, but I don't know how to code that yet.
driga7 [玉] 24 Jul @ 2:53am
Is it possible to make a variant without the trait? Or is there a way to get this perk mid-game?
Piss wizard 21 Jul @ 1:07pm
very sussy trait to have irl tho I think

@inoxz, @L̷o̷c̷al̷C̷a̷n̷n̷ib̷al, Thx guys!
@Nova, XD the description is a hint to my other mod, "Drag Bodies Faster"
Piss wizard 21 Jul @ 9:33am
if you dragging bodies around became a routine for you then I think you need to get arrested
