And a suggestion to others: You should load this mod later in the list, as other mods may have changed the pilot console, which can cause a null reference exception when calling <Building_GravEngine_TotalFuel>, resulting in gizmos/InspectString/FloatMenu not displaying correctly

Can you patch it so that RimeFeller works for the gravship? its not working propperly despite visually it shows it should be working.

I noticed I have to rebuild the chemfuel tanks whenever I change my Gravship, which is a lot. Can the tank be minified?

I installed this and now my chem generators do not generate power even if they are connected to the tanks and kept at 100% fuel. Any ide what it would be ? ( base + odyssey dlc)

um, do you need to pipe to the grav engine for tech reasons? cause in lore the grav engine just (magically?) lifts up the ship while the thrusters need fuel so you actually get somewhere.. so it would make much more sense if you need to pipe (additionally?) to the thrusters

Update: The leaky tanks stopped after I uninstalled this mod, but after I reinstalled the issue didn't come back. Maybe I forgot to hit the sort button in RimPy the first time? So the mod works great, thanks.

Great idea!
Two things I've noticed:

This seems to lock—or overwrite—the chemfuel tank size, such that using the options to alter the vanilla chemfuel tank sizes in either "Tweaks Galore" or "Bigger Gravships" no longer work.

Additionally, despite being connected to VCE chemfuel tanks, the Grav engine still says that it requires at least one of the vanilla Chemfuel tanks. But this seems superficial, as it looks like you can still take off from the pilot console, since that only checks for stored chemfuel.

My chemfuel tanks seem to have sprung a rather substantial leak with this installed. Every tank, whether base game or VCE, is draining so fast I can't physically keep up with it even with everyone refining and refueling around the clock. 1 or 2 chemfuel every few seconds at speed 1.

I also noticed the pilot console says there're no tanks connected if using VCE tanks. Seems to just be a visual issue since I can still take off just fine.

this is really handy, thanks! It's nice to use the tanks I need anyway for storage instead of having to build huge extra ones on a cramped ship

@trapbuilder2 @Sakura Zensen @avianca30 It lets you use the vanilla tanks with the rest of the network, as actual fuel storage for Vanilla Chemfuel Expanded. You can play without it, but you'd have to use the chemfuel tanks that come with VCE if you want to store more fuel and also pipe it to other appliances/generators/etc.

As I understand from description - I am able re-fuel my grav-ship every time I land at my colony tile, without manually ordering pawns to do so.

Does it work with shuttles too?

I was already piping the chemfuel into the gravship tanks, seemed to work fine, just couldnt use the fuel already in them for the rest of the network

wouldn't it make sense for Thrusters to be connected with pipes as well? that could be cool feature

@Greisyn I'm guessing that mod expects to modify vanilla chemfuel tanks, so it won't work with this patch, since it turns them into VCE tanks. If you just want to change the capacity of the tanks, you can edit the Patches.xml in this mod's files, the values you want are under the <storageCapacity> tag.

@GHOST Yes and no. You could connect them but the Odyssey tanks did not work the same as the VCE tanks did. Also some people have reported issues when you connect the Odyssey tanks to the VCE tanks.

It worked, but not as proper storage. You could pipe chemfuel into them, but not out.
