Comfort gain with medical beds should now be fixed. I would still not recommend having 2 medical beds on the same tile, as it has been difficult to fix the kicking patients out of bed issue for stacked medical beds.

I've overhauled the bed ownership logic a bit (it might result in a 1-time benign log message when loading up your save for the first time) which should hopefully help with the gravship jump ownership problem (I haven't nailed it down 100% yet with a large modlist, but it works fine with just a few mods) and also potentially improve performance.

Original description talks of asking for an "XML Patch", but it has been taken over by a new author so no idea if this is easy to do or not.

If you zoom in a little they should be visible. It has to do with the layer the loft bed is on - it seems to not draw the colonists from the same distance that the normal bed layer does. Just a necessary quirk of having the loft bed over another bed

since the beds cause 0% darkness, does it cause unnatural darkness to damage pawns?

I love this mod, but I have a minor beef with how Loft-Beds block all light onto their tiles. When playing with Anomaly, Unnatural Darkness means they can't sleep in beds/loft beds without being "attacked" by the darkness. Any chance that can be patched?

@Nekoemi: I no longer use the bunk beds as medical beds and only use top bunks with art or drawer under. However my colonists DO keep using the bunk bed for medical purposes while medical beds are available to use. This is caused several deaths and failed surgeries. Very Sad

I was using bunk beds to cope with this being deprecated, so thanks for fixing the issue with the pathing bug of the 1.5 last update. Though there seems to be an issue with bed reservation with grav ships?

Not sure if it's been reported already, but with a gravship, the ownership seems to reset or overwrite to the bed underneath on launch.

Would love to see support added for various types of modded beds - though I can imagine that'd be a pain.

This rules though - especially for gravship bunk corridoors.

I let a prisoner keep their legs and they use the prisoner bed. Maybe it's the rescue/capture to prisoner bed work type that's not using it properly

@Nekoemi : Thank you for your reply! Yeah I was only using them as medical beds until I researched better medical beds since I am playing with odyssey and this mod is so good with the DLC. Thank you for continuing to work on it!

@Nekoemi Till the fix, please be so kind and add clarification in description about Not using it as Medical bed just to be safe... it will save you time in future when people will ask you about it, and might help some people in their runs ;)

@JoeOwnage I just tried with your full modlist and the prisoner loft bed is working for me. I'm not sure why it's not working with your save, but maybe try a fresh reinstall of your mods or I can take a look at the save that's giving you problems.

@DaftChocobo I do see that the comfort fix did not apply to medical loft beds, so I will take a look at it. There does seem to be some occasional weird interaction when there are stacked medical beds, but it doesn't seem to happen every time to me. I will try and see if I can make it behave a little better. I generally wouldn't recommend using it as a primary medical bed as the loft bed does reduce tend quality and surgery chance slightly (intended).

doesn't seem to work as medical beds. Pawn is downed, gets taken to the bed but is dropped on the floor instead. Comfort is also not going up when on the loft medical beds. I don't have issues with colonist loft beds.

@T-Pot The comfort gain issue should be fixed if you want to check it out.

@JoeOwnage I am unable to replicate this issue. I'm not having any problems assigning prisoners to loft beds or a bed underneath a loft bed. I'm able to tend a prisoner on a loft bed and carry them to one as well. I've tried with both just this mod and with a large mod list. Could you post your mod list?

I've noticed that colonists get no comfort from these beds unless there's a piece of furniture below the head side of the bed. But then it uses that furniture's comfort value rather than it's own.

Hospitality looks to work fine in the quick test I just ran - the guests can sleep in either the Loft Bed or a bed underneath it.
