I'm sorry, of course, but is it possible to make a small mod that puts the VE research tab in order, because there's a lot of space there, and the mods themselves are superimposed on each other (not critical, but still)

Not really. Like our wasters, they have a hidden gene that transforms into the astrogenes

Passively letting corpos determine the actual day-to-day language we use is a travesty.

Personally I just can't interpret the "ahh" nonsense as anything other than a person spontaneously nutting in the middle of their sentence.

@Ing afaik they are remaking Ancients, Furniture: Security, and Mechanoids Expanded, since they were outdated to the point of being barely vanilla and/or the code was broken af (at least for the Ancients)

I saw what you guys did, you removed the silly ahh green mustache from the Vanilla Gravships Expanded guy!!!

Also pleeaase don't just add ship battles for the sake of it, tell me you know how to make it interesting and not just a situation where either you win because you have better firepower or lose because you have worse firepower.
The oxygen pipeline seems really cool and I really don't want it to come with ship battles.

I'm curious, how does the Psychic Bonding astrogene work? Does the bond stop when they're on the ground? Is there a penalty for the bond breaking?

I'd also really love to see the opposite genes added to the gene pool (not added to Starjacks but added to the game, found in genepacks with traders). I.e. Atmospheric Pressure Efficiency and Low-gravity sensitivity. It's always nice to have both sides of the coin, makes gene editing fun and worthwhile to pursue.

To me that would make a lot more sense.

@StockSounds it's just an odd naming they chose I'd say. Oxygen sensitivity/vacuum efficiency are misleading, because it has nothing to do with the oxygen/vacuum, but is all about the surface they're on. Imo changing the naming to something gravity related would make more sense and be more intruitive.

Oxygen sensitivity -> Atmospheric Pressure Sensitivity. Carriers of this gene are *slightly* averse to high-pressure environments. In high-pressure atmospheres [rest of description].
(vacuum resistant apparel allows for low-pressure atmosphere inside the suit).

Vacuum efficiency -> Low gravity efficiency. Replace zero-atmosphere in description with low-gravity.

How can they be weak to oxygen and simultaneously fine with oxygen pumps? Couldn't they have been allergic to something else in the planet's atmosphere that isn't plentiful in gravships?

It works just fine in space, no need for negative oxygen pump.

Alright, after playing with this a little more, it's alright. My biggest issue is its just so light on content compared to like every other VRE though so it still feels somewhat like a rush job, so here's hoping future updates make it feel as expansive as say the pigskin or hussar VREs!

This is a pretty cool mod. Now it really feels like the Starjack are more adapted to space conditions. But the Astrogens are cringe. Not only can they easily overlap the genes of the Xenotypes, but they also easily overlap each other. Also, about 20% of my Starjacks received mutation genes from the VRE - Waster. It was funny, but strange. Perhaps it is worth introducing stricter limits for the Astrogens. Or even making a separate pool for them (as was the case with mutations in the VRE - Waster). I apologize in advance for any translation errors.

Is there a way to add astrogenes to an existing pawn? if not, could a seperate mod interact with astrogenes to add them to pawns?

On a more serious note (and as stated before), those tails are a reference to the Austers [static.wikia.nocookie.net] in the "Hyperion" story. Their tails are, however, artificial. But they serve the same purpose.
