Final thoughts: I love the mod, but unfortunately i've had to remove the gates as the AI pathing is still not at a good spot as they keep getting caught on open gates, and the bandits are going to come through whether u like it or not lol. The palisades still give the impression of a fortified base, but until we can station peeps at the gates or teach the AI to avoid obstacles better, no more gates. Still a solid mod :steamthumbsup:

Apologies but it has nothing to do with AI pathing. You can literally walk right through the gate doors, like they don't even exist. The walls are fine, they're solid (both literally and figuratively lol), but not the gate doors.

AI navigation is a bit clunky right now — NPCs tend to get stuck on small objects. Co-devs have added a temporary workaround that lets NPCs "jump" over obstacles. For now, it's mostly decorative, but in the future, when the developers release an update, proper pathfinding should be fixed.

Same with the gate here. NPCs just walk through like it's open. Graphic when relocating it shows the gate doors open as opposed to closed, which is different than before.

I don't know what happened, but now i can just walk right through the gate. I've unsub'd and resub'd but didn't seem to fix the problem.

Thanx Pacyfista, awesome work. Loving it so far, but just my opinion on the gates .... shouldn't the locking latches be on the same side as the braces? so the enemy can't pull the gate apart lol. I took a couple screen shots if u need them to show you what i mean. Is it also possible to lock the gates? my homies were born in barns and dont close doors {smh} Another idea, r u able to have a toggle for snapping/no snapping? Just a thought :) Again, appreciate the work!

Especially for you, the whole thing is now behind the technology tree in the Guard Post.
I’ll also try to figure out how to set up patrolling and assigning guards.

How hard would it be to make a guard point on the platforms? So we can have archers guarding the gates on the platform, or melee guarding/patrolling the gates? Similar to Aska if you've played that game ..... Just a thought.

I fixed that and tested it with a friend yesterday. Try closing Steam to get the update, or unsubscribe and subscribe again.

Hello, the doors are not synchronized in co-op. When the host sees the door open, the others see the door closed and vice versa.

Getting weird black shadow textures on the walls and gates, also in CO-OP the gate cant be opened or closed by anyone other than the main player.

Most mods now include a picture or three, but this video... I wish all mods that included construction-related items would include something like this!
