LordDz, In Russia, we call these methods "crutches." Maybe u have different word but I dont know it ahah)

The game actually place the sound when fire spawned, but the sound is made to match the fire for the destroyed vehicles, which eventually goes out and sound do the same.

Sound you suggested is incredibly loud. It overpowers the cutscene and music, and can be heard throughout the map and there is no way to adjust its volume.

In short, as I understand it, I just needed to use a different fire if there is one in the game. But I thought, let's just have a fire without sound. It will be distracting, as far as I'm concerned. Thank you for trying to help, in general! :steamthumbsup:

With the sfx/legacy/fire and changing the sound to the loop sounds.

I guess the easiest way to make the fire sounds would be to place the sound and fire animation somewhere, then copy paste them together to the location you want them to be.

Have you tried setting the fire sounds to the loop variant ?

Nah, I didn't know about the mines in the truck. I'll get to work on it.

As for the fire sounds, they are playing in the editor, but only for a short time, and it's a bit of a hassle to add a sound for each fire manually. If you have any ideas on how to fix this, I'd love to hear them, but I'm not sure how to do it yet. :steamsad:

It's a great map, really good scripting and voice acting.
Tho two things:
The engineer supply truck, should it really be full with mines? Felt a bit too much with full anti tank mines and anti personel mines.

The tank fires etc, that are at the start they need a fire sound on them.
I couldn't hear anything from them.

The authors of Gates of hell created a mod under the same name for Men of war assault squad 2 a long time ago. Just wanted to point out how similar the missions were.

DesertFoxy, Спасибо за подмеченные ошибочки! Выпустил патч в котором исправил таймер и технику. По правде, когда-то во дворе стоял ИС-2, про который я слава богу вспомнил перед публикацией ахахаха

Маленькая придирка, но не критично т-34-85 в 1942г(и другая техника не подходящая по временным рамкам) немного портят ощущение от миссии, было бы прикольно увидеть у немецких солдат Mkb42. После уничтожения ШтуХа не пропал таймер, а так миссия хорошая. Жду ещё миссий, надеюсь украл все мг-42 на карте)

Iteza, Thanks for the detailed comment! I've published a small fix for the radioman issue. It should be easier to reach StuH 42 now. And... I honestly didn't quite understand what you meant in the end of second and third part of your comment :sacrificed: Destruction of the house is planned with functional StuH 42 if you are telling about that.

Good idea for a brave battle, but poor execution.

The beginning and the night raid went smoothly. The problem arose when defending the house. It is impossible to destroy the Stug while defending the house. Yes, I know I have a radio operator who can call in artillery, but he doesn't have the range from a safe distance, and sending him forward is suicide. The use of mines is limited due to enemy fire. The mission could be accomplished if the Stug with the script didn't destroy the entire house.

I remember that this theme was in the original Gates of Hell mod for MOWAS2.

I don't want this to sound like whining, but I just want to point out the problem I encountered.
