Devs just let it broken since long time, dunno why they ignore it but i think it is SO immersive.

Pretty slick, man! I was unaware the run speed modifier is fakey for clothes other than bags (which are clothes technically). Thanks for letting me know and I immediately install your mod!

I'm sure I'm not alone to be confused with this. Did the devs say why it is not working in vanilla though?

Excellent! Have a mod like this for B41 but I'm not sure it's going to update and now I feel like this is a must have feature.
