i liked it so what about fire detector - simllar to prisoner and worker - i would love it
fire dector would send signal to close the doors automaticlly etc

I believe it allows you to automate gates for works in this manner:

Worker approaches door with servo -> detector detects worker -> detector triggers door to open automatically

Aawesome idea, any way to make it so the sensors will also pick up guards, cooks... etc?

Thanks Mr.Lewis! Sorry i forgot to mention that the sensing range is as follows

Small: 2.5 blocks
Medium: 5 blocks
Large: 10 blocks

Concept is nice. Screenshots are listed below for reference. However in game there is NO way to tell what detector you have placed (aside from hovering over it with your cursor.) The in game utility text is messed up. Along with no clear way of knowing how far they detect.

(Luckily I tested that)
Small: ~2 tiles from the sensor.
Medium: ~4-5 tiles.
Large ~9-10 tiles.

Its strange because sometimes it activate at the maximum range, and sometimes it fails to detect them. Who knows.
Also requires no electricity to run? Unless its solar powered, no idea what is powering these suckers.

I give it a 4/5 till the utility text is fixed and there is a clear description of what the detectors specs are.

You place the object from the utilities menu then use the connect tool to wire it to something
