But if it's that simple... Quite handy to know, then, could always be useful another time.

Wonder if there's even remotely any interest in a map solely designed so the player can take items from it and furnish their office, without having to clean up (not including things that are used for achievements). Since that's what i'm almost done with working on, as a little side-project to kill the time. (Which is also what i wanted kill-on-sight sentries for, but eh, i'll make do with just cameras instead.)
For death circumstances, just imagine a certain scenario that happenened on the map and adapt it to the position the bodies are lying in. For example, a pile of bodies lying in a corridor may have been shredded by machine gun fire of a 'Phoenix' turret. A large pool of blood with a dismembered body missing arms or legs may have been ripped apart and partially eaten by alien or an animal.
if you need help imagining scenarios, contact me, I may be able to make up some on my own^^
Nice map btw, I'm still taking my time wandering around the map :D
No guarantee on PIDs, though. I'm utterly TERRIBLE at thinking up names. It would also be fairly hard to set up the death circumstances for those without redoing all the corpses, i'd imagine.
if want wires in map therse a spline actor tutorial on youtube:)
idea for sewer job=pids and disable the rear door on the incinerator as one can open it:)
sewer job a nice map for multiplayer took me and a freind to a few days on n off to clean/about 4 to 5 hours with 2 players as was fun messy place to clean
I guess unchecking "Accepts Static Decals" and "Accepts Dynamic Decals" should do the trick, both being found under Actor Properties, weirdly enough showing up twice (both in Collision and in Static Mesh Actor).
I did place one below the medkit though, i recall. Guess i should take a second look at that sometime.
As for bullet holes, during playtesting it worked fine for me, got all of em, perhaps you need to try from different angles? They can be troublesome about it sometimes. If they dont light up then somehow they're not being hit.
Though if all else fails using the cheat 'killnearestmess' in the console removes the nearest junk/mess, handy if things do get truly stuck/unreachable.
I'm afraid there simply wasnt any space for the barrel stacking zones elsewhere though, as far as i remember.
I found a bullet hole in the vending machine room that doesn't seem to work, it's on the base of the pilar and it's barely visible.
*Sarcasm (I actually like the map, was just making a bad joke)
Just spent an hour and a half cleaning, cleaned the office, the bin area and the exit tunnel, gonna work on the rest later. Bit of a walking time, and lanterns are a must, but I liked having some littered (Another bad pun, sorry!) around the map. Still haven't explored the whole map, due to my minor OCD of not wanting to track blood everywhere, Still, love it. The machines can be annoying, but other than that, good level design.
But no performance laggs or something like this. Working also great in Multiplayer.
Took about 4 hours to cleanup ô_O
It also happens to be a huge map which takes over 5 hours to clean by yourself, so its more suited as a multiplayer map, probably. Hm, hope it works out though...
This map looks amazing. In the middle of cleaning right now.
Now, I just want a map with the size of this and the complexity.
But without the shitty floor and wall textures. I fucking hate them, because it's so hard to tell where the 'vauge' stains are, causing you to track footprints fucking. Everywhere.
And then they should be fully playable. If you want to disable showing custom maps just turn off the Workshop.
Hovering over the Workshop icon will tell wether it is busy doing something or when stuff is ready to go. Some maps might take a few minutes depending on their size and your internet speed.
