Just use autorigger, you need to set the hands manually in it and thats it.

I've been wanting to play with this character for a while, and I thank you for allowing it to exist!

One thing I noticed though, and this was a problem that kinda is common in models as of late, her finger bones aren't angled right. Like, you'd have to bend the bone on two different axises just to make the fingers bend realistically, and that might be a problem, even if it's mostly on the developing of image level. if you can fix this, it would be much appreciated, and thank you in advance.

Download the rig in the description, the Valve biped doesn't work since the model has 2 less spine bones than what rig_biped_simple has.

IK rig? it has the .valve bones but the normal rig_biped_simple does not work, help?

Fair enough.

Though in my opinion it would probably look better had the fins been given hard edges. Right now they have some severe smoothing errors along the edges.

It won't even increase the vertex count since it's along a uv edge.
