So i play the map its a great map but nothing happens the only thing that happens are the rebels move out from the basement i just need an explanation for why it wont work

What happened to this map? It was going and going and going for a while...Then it just stopped. Strange, but fine, happens all the time.

It however was pretty good, I will say.

I like this map, but could you please remove the snipers? They are a pain to deal with and they kill me before I have a chance to kill them. Also, where are the gunships? They don't seem to spawn for me.

you should had some hunters with the striders and more waves of each type like 1st antlion wave: normal antlion 2nd: antlion and antlion worker 3rd: antlion an antlion guard 4th: antlion antlion worker and antlion guard 5th: antlion ,antlion worker ,antlion guard ,antlion guardian(the green one give him more health)
Zombies: 1: headcrabs dropping from cannisters 2: normal zombies + some headcrabs 3 ....

Update is up! Really improved the wave system, probably won't make much of a difference upfront but now its much easier to add new waves.

Sorry for the lack of updates but real life happened. I'm uploading a new version today as soon as I finish testing it. It changes the spawnsystem and adds a little bit more destruction to the house

Thanks for the sugestions! Unfortunately I've just changed places and got no internet access so its going to be a while until the next update, hopefully I'll get it sorted out by the end of this week.

about the head crab cannisters...you could try placing a button that deletes the excess ones...or...like a cleanup system that despawns them after a wave or two...

also maybe add a MG turret (could even make one that uses the Pulse MG coding but uses the CS:S M249 model...or just keep the look of the pulse mg)

Even as a beta map, this blows my mind with its quality. You just don't see HL2-style defence maps like this much anymore. I very much look forward to its completion.

Thats actually a great idea, I'm just worried about clutter with all the headcrab canisters. And yeah I'm thinking about expanding the house too. With the rebels, I'm gonna tone down their spawn frequency or maybe make it only replenish them every 2 waves .

I think that the house could do with being ever so slightly bigger, it gets really cramped on the later waves, especially with the rebels following you. Also, a wave of headcrab canisters might be pretty cool. :headcrab:

It's not a leak tough, its just a wall with the nodraw texture, I'm still working on that area, hope to have a tunel system similar to what you see on the last streetwar level and after the assault on the nexus.

New update is out. Slightly improved navigation for NPCs, new building, some more detail has been added to the map, new enemies, combine will destroy any of the outside walls they come close to.

The AI can actually kill striders, gunships, etc. Its just that I've only put about 1 guy with an RPG on the map. Buildings and the like are being made and added as often as I can.

Suggestions: An AI only mode that sends enemys that can be killed by ais, no gunships or anything like that,
Maybe more buildings and stuff, and failure conditions unless in ai only mode.
