But rebranding them from 'elite' to 'well trained' don't have other impact for game ?

so they might be fully uploaded soon the hero mods for rome are being pains in that the pack manager keeps reverting random lines to defualt and causing crashes (my point is if its not reuploaded without the authors ok never upload a patched version of a mod plus the other reason i started doing this is due to internet issues where i live its very unstable and can not work for days sometimes and without access to the net mods stop working but the backups of mods i have enable me to still play with them even when offline )

if you have the pack manager program you can copy the mod rename it and use the pack manager to make it work on updated games its wat i do but as your not the author never upload it and never let anyone else use your work unless the author says you can i used this way with the old hero mods as i got the authors ok to do it but cant upload them unless he gives the ok the ones for more heros in shogun are going through the testing stages at the min but they are working in all versions with over 100 mods active

@Lizart: Well, this mod was never updated, so that may be the problem. You also need to be sure that it loads after Radious, that your other mods don't change units tables and that in game, your clients must have the required buildings to recruit elites.

i think this mod will be nice, but on my game he dosent work :( i play with radious but i have 2 other unit mods... can it be that this is the problem?

@BarrySteakFry: Do they have the good building (tier 4 military building I think)?
If so, they're not available each turn, try to wait a little.
It may also be a conflict with another mod (one that change spartan units for example).

@DMDR: as i understand it, the training level is related to spacing, but the difference between elite and well_trained is negligible (i think it's 0.3 and 0.4). The well trained spacing could be set at the same value than elite, as well_trained is not used in any other unit (maybe they can become weel_trained with XP, i don't know). By the way, love your mod, made mine because of yours.

So it was elite training level that didn't allowed me to get oathsworns.

BTW there is another table for this stuff called entity_training_levels, and there are different values for elite and well trained. Maybe it is that spacing difference TW Zone was talking about.

@TW Zone: Yup, do it. It's just a matter of changing the training level in the land unit table from elite to the unused well_trained. It only seems to slightly change the spacing between units as i understand it. I'm just thinking about that though: does the AI use the training level for recruitment? If so, it could prevent the AI from recruiting highest tier unit.
I'll rename this version to make it clearer it's for Radious.

Looks like a great mod, the idea and result must improve gameplay fo sure. But when it works for Radious then it probably doesnot work with DEI mod (Divide et Impera) ? DEI is definately more realistic then Radious, (i also played Radious very often) but the amount of hirable mercenaries is relatievly low. This mod will malke a big difference.
