Really...? Is all it is that makes R2 battles look so weird? Unit spacing ??? All this time I was vaguely bugged about that! Far prefer R1's look on the battlefield but didn't know why!. So... THANK YOU! One less R2 itch to scratch. Virtually all gone after... 5/6 years now?

Hi! IS there anyone who is willing to try this and create this. A truly realistic Garrison. A Roman garrison. With moats round, a good defenses. A new camp garrison. That They can stand on Their records in a defense. Yes suchlike a fortress with watchtowers along the long border fences. and Where they can splice out-duty arrows against the enemy. of Roma soldiers could attack from. Now could the enemies only come if They dare!

Ok so tried it with DEI vanilla and it works pretty good, but I'd say there's a lot of moving around, and some units are unresponsive sometime. I used a Roman formation mod, or not, I think DEI had it, but some of the effects seemed to move pretty well. Its good for Roman armies definitely. What about barbaian ones? I'm not the best to rely on feedback, but contact the DEI team and see what they say.

Haven't tested with DEI. Not sure about compatibility. IT wouldnt hurt to try out a custom battle with it though.

Should be fine with mods that change AI, wil not be compatible with mods that change unit spacing.

You're talking about unit size? This is not quite mod. I just changed pack files. Mmmmm, it's like a 2x unit size mods, but i set 400 (300 on "Large" unit size in settings) man for infantry ("superior" units have 640 (480) man, but you can't have more than: 6 - Sacred Band, 6 - Praetorians/Guards, 4 - Heroes of Sparta, 10 for Grand and Emp cam. 5 for CiG camp. - First/Eagle Cohort). Pike units have 342 man, because... why not? 200 (150) for cavalry (Roman auxilia cav. have 180 riders, but you can't have more than 3 units of each type of auxilia cav.), 180 - Numidians.

And... i'm really sorry for my English. =_=
