Hey Aguirre! This has long been one of the finest unit mods for Rome 2. I'm working on a submod for DEI that will address the roster of Athens as well as probably the Aetolians and Achaeans in the Macedonian wars campaign-I'm wondering if I could use some of your assets from this mod in it? (With credit to you of course)

It works with the new patch to be honest, but keep getting notice from CA at the start of game that mods are out of date and will posibly not work or crash the game!

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but when you highlight the unit card for these new units, the only one that actually indicates its been selected is the one for the Theban Elite Hippeus.

If you could go back in and fix it so that the other unit's get highlighted when selected, it would greatly improve the functionality of this mod. Really enjoying what the mod adds to the WoS campaign though. Really creates a depth of unit options that are just not in the base game. : )

I love this mod! I first heard about Thebes when I was in 10th grade and had to read Oedipus. Since then, I've found the city's story really interesting, especially the Sacred Band.

Anyway, thanks for making this mod, I really enjoy the level of detail and care put into the units!

Hello. I made a bit of research, but it lands vaguely historical.
I could'nt find any specific Theban army composition consisting of units other than the usual "Hoplites" "Skirmishers" etc. So I grabbed and mixed sources a bit.
Read somewhere that Alexander the greats fathers famouns phalangites was inspired from something he saw in Thebes, The club is associated with thebes, Dionysious was a strong diety in the Theban society, The sacred band apparently existed. The aestetics are made up or taken from less historical sources. So if you manage to build a timemachine and go back to old Thebes, I doubt that you see exactly what this mod produce

Are these units historically accurate? They look cool though. I was wanting some diversity for Thebes and this mod helped!

Ah that would be nice. Unfortunately its quite a hazzard to make such a mod. There are probably many who can and anyone have my permission to make and release such a mod.

Yes? i can´t see the faction in custom battle, how i could do it? only with our mod, and no one else...i can´t see any faction of WoS in custom battles =(
