@ruhrgebietheld, thanks for letting me know. iirc that was an issue in a version years ago as well, but was fixed, so I must have somehow changed what fixed it :)
I've also noticed that the Nuraghians' MCIS icon show up in the city screen for all civs, so will have to fixed that too.
Mojave Neon 12 Feb, 2022 @ 8:15pm
It's been years since I last used this civ, so I decided to see how they play currently. They're a ton of fun in their current form, I really enjoyed playing as them. The one issue I did notice is that the Domus de Janas was only buildable adjacent to rivers, not all freshwater tiles. I had quite a few tiles with lake/oasis adjacency that should have been able to have them built on, but only tiles with river adjacency actually gave me the option to construct them.

This update makes me happy. The leaderscene is sick.
DMS  [author] 10 Dec, 2021 @ 5:11pm
Changelog continued:

General: Completely rewrote the code for optimization.
Art: Changed civ colours
Art: New civ icon and alpha (thx darth)
Art: Entirely new leaderscene and leader icon
Mod support: Dropped support for Sukritact’s Decisions (files still included).
Mod support: Changed preferred Religion from Hellenism/Dodekatheism to Mysteries when using Tomatekh’s Historical Religions mods.
DMS  [author] 10 Dec, 2021 @ 5:11pm
Updated, but steam sometimes doesnt save the changelog, so here it is:

Text: Changed civ short description to be “The Nuraghians” instead of just “Nuraghians”.
Text: Corrected the description of the effect of the UI in its civilopedia entry.
UA: Solved issue where Combat Strength from traded resources was in some cases not working.
UA: Second part of the UA changed to provide Building Production from worked Freshwater tiles (before it was only towards Faith Buildings, no requirement of them being worked and was a global bonus).
UTI: Renamed the Unique Improvement from Ipogeo to Domus de Janas (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domus_de_Janas) .
UTI: Can now be built on Resources.
UTI: Can now not be built directly on Forests, Jungle or Marsh without first clearing them.
UB: Now gives the correct amount of Defense and HP (5 Defense instead of 0.6 and 60 HP instead of 5).
UB: Ability now includes all Defensive buildings instead of a hardcoded list (including ones added by mods).
I swear this never happens to me 30 Mar, 2020 @ 12:57pm
No offence since this is a great mod, but why are there so many newer mods on the workshop updating their UAs into more complex, less effective ones? The origional 5% boost in combat strength for each metal traded was a lot more simple and useful than the 1% in friendly territory. When the UA is too complicated and specialized it detracts from the personality of the civ. Is there anywhere I can find the old version of this mod?

Apologies for the trivial question, but how do you direct DL? "Press on the above infographic" doesn't allow me to DL anything. (I use Steam, but it's currently not DL MODs)
SuperPershing1945 24 Dec, 2018 @ 4:20am
I see this is supposed to be compatible with Rise to Power, but it hasn't been updated for a long time. Is this compatible with the combined JFDLC?

Thank you for your informations. For the Shardana/Sherden theory you are right that there are various theories, there are also theories that say the we sardinians are for example, atlanteans, neo-hittites, caananites, hyksos, libyans, etruscans, basques, illirians, vandals, alans, tartessians, berbers (numidians), philistines, lydians, troyans or a mixture of these peoples.
DMS  [author] 5 Feb, 2018 @ 1:10pm
(continued)

Ofc, you being Sardinian, definitely holds some authority on the matter, but tbh I think changing the name now will only confuse people. I you want to change it yourself, you can do it in the DMS_Nuraghians_GameText.xml file inside the mod under the TXT_KEY_CIV_DMS_NURAGIC_SHORT_DESC tag. There you can also see that in-game, the civilization is called the "Nuraghic Empire".

Lastly, re the "shardana/sherden" name. Afaik there are several theories about this; recent findings are pointing more and more towards an identification of the Sherden as the indigenous Sardinian population. However, this is not unanimously agreed upon hence why I discarded that as an option.
DMS  [author] 5 Feb, 2018 @ 1:10pm
@Bluewave256 Hi - thanks for your feedback. Originally I actually did call them "The Nuragics", but changed it due to several reasons. First of all, I've come across the term "Nuraghian" or "Nuragian" in several scholary texts, there used to describe the indigenous Sardinian population, which is the primary reason for the choice. These texts seem to refer to the culture of the indigenous population rather than the people itself as "Nuragic" or "Nuraghic". I do, however, agree that it could be argued that "The Nuragics" could have worked just fine as well - as is for example the case on wikipedia.
Secondly, when I released the civ (almost exactly three years ago), a bunch of other civs had just been released, which thematically fit with this civ. These were The Gauls, The Thracians, The Germans and The Iberians (maybe more, I can't recall). Calling this civ "The Nuraghians" seem to fit better with the naming scheme of those civs. At least that was what I thought at the time :).
Azzurra Iris Lea Monde 5 Feb, 2018 @ 10:28am
I am sardinian, we do not call them "nuraghians", we call them "nuragics" or "shardana/sherden".

And I can't build an ipogeo nowhere.
Norton 8 Sep, 2016 @ 5:13pm
No offense to Rob (R8XFT) but I have never liked that kind of 3D.
Gummans Gubbe 14 Mar, 2016 @ 11:28pm
I can build the ipogeo on tiles without freshwater, https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/29804668/20160315072353_1.jpg
DMS  [author] 17 Feb, 2016 @ 3:38pm
The Nuraghians updated. See changelog (or infographic) for changes.
DMS  [author] 10 Sep, 2015 @ 5:37am
@Jingle Jangle, Thanks for the suggestion. I'll listen to it and if it's to my liking, I'll include it in the next update.
massi 10 Sep, 2015 @ 1:40am
Can you change the music? Try to add launeddas' songs, it's an anticent instrument similiar to bagpipes and was used by Nuraghians. Thanks for making this fantastic mod!

Nembo 7 Jun, 2015 @ 8:49am
i played to civilization yesterday, the first time since i noticed the problem, and i didn't watch it, i don't know if it is for the updates of mods, but now it works perfectly. thank you for your support
DMS  [author] 1 Jun, 2015 @ 2:23pm
@Folgore, Unfortunately this doesn't five me much info without the lua log, and that is re-written (i.e. deleted) every time you start a new game (or restarts Civ5 I think). This means that if you have started another game since you experienced the problem, your current log file doesn't hold any info that might tell me why the problem occurs.

But since you posted last, The Nuraghians has been updated and thoroughly tested. Both the decisions and the events work fine for me. Making sure Events & Decisions,Cultural Diversity and the Community Patch is completely updated might be worthwhile.
Also, the 'cultural diversity support patch', isn't that for compatibility with the CBP? Disabling that as well as 'conquest for unique unit' could maybe also be something worth trying.
Nembo 1 Jun, 2015 @ 10:21am

small update. See Change Notes for details.
Nembo 21 May, 2015 @ 11:39am
ok, i will give you these things as soon as possible
DMS  [author] 17 May, 2015 @ 2:35pm
Okay. In order to help you I will need your complete modlist together with your database log and lua log files. If you have logging enabled you can find those files in the ...\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Logs folder. If you do not have logging enabled, please see this guide http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=487482 .

I apologize if this in a bit inconvenient, but I'm really at a loss at what's causing it, since I haven't gotten any other reports describing what you're experiencing.
Nembo 16 May, 2015 @ 5:51am
yes, i have events & decisions activated, i downloaded it again yesterday, but nothing changed. i use also JFD's Exploration Continued Expanded
DMS  [author] 15 May, 2015 @ 1:55pm
You don't? Which version of the mod do you have? Sorry to ask the obvious question, but do you have the Events&Decisions mod activated?
Nembo 15 May, 2015 @ 9:29am
nice mod, but i have a little problem with events & decisions: i don't see "implement new mining technique" and "construct the giant of monte prama"
DMS  [author] 22 Feb, 2015 @ 4:03am
Sounds interesting, but I have my hands full at the moment. I have a whole bunch of civs planned (some of which are already being worked on), and besides that, a pretty substantial update to Corsica.

You could post your ideas in the Civilization Request Thread over on Civfanatics. Maybe it'll get picked up then.

Pilatian 22 Feb, 2015 @ 3:54am
Thanks. :) Would you be interested in making a Phrygia civ? Historical civ of King Midas, and I could come up with an outline for you..
DMS  [author] 22 Feb, 2015 @ 3:53am
@Pilatian. Changing it in the next update to be dependent on your current culture output instead of the cost of your next policy. Thanks for mentioning it.
Pilatian 21 Feb, 2015 @ 11:01pm
The mining decision is too expensive on marathon speed. Three times the cost of your next policy is ridiculous and only works if you have policy saving on.
DMS  [author] 19 Feb, 2015 @ 6:14pm
Updated to version 6. The changes are included a nerf of the UB, which after much testing seems to have balanced the civ more.
DMS  [author] 16 Feb, 2015 @ 1:46pm
I will consider making some balance adjustments in the next update. Thanks for your feedback.
][G][Dark as Sliver 16 Feb, 2015 @ 1:13pm
Thanks, sorry to show you up in your own thread. I've got to agree with other people saying OP though. Super graneries and combat bonus aside, you get benefits on more luxuries than most and improvements that give +3 faith.
DMS  [author] 16 Feb, 2015 @ 11:56am
It's support for a mod called Events and Decisions. Since it's still in beta (though very stable), it hasn't been released on steam. You can find it here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=528549
][G][Dark as Sliver 16 Feb, 2015 @ 10:27am
Whats the enact decision screenshots about? I checked the civ fanatics page but didn't see a explanation.
DMS  [author] 16 Feb, 2015 @ 2:47am
Minor update: fix Events related bug
DMS  [author] 16 Feb, 2015 @ 1:31am
@[V.V.V]Sergius. Hopefully not. Keep in mind that the UA doesn't simply give all your units 25% Combat Bonus, but rather +5% per traded metal (iron, copper, silver, gold) resource. Also, since this civ is a UB/UI combination, the uniques are a bit more passive compared to civs with a UB/UU, UI/UU or UU/UU combination.
Regardless, the civ has been tested a bunch of times and it seems balanced IMO, but if I get a lot of feedback suggesting that it isn't, I'll neef it. :D
ApricotSage 15 Feb, 2015 @ 10:57pm
25% combat bonus and mega-granaries/citadels? Kind of OP, ne?
DMS  [author] 15 Feb, 2015 @ 5:24pm
Updated with Events & Decisions support.
DMS  [author] 15 Feb, 2015 @ 4:29pm
@MrPalao.

:D

@TheIodio.

Glad to hear it.

@dm_Robin.

This is a historical civilization, yes. It's an ancient people from the island of Sardinia. Not much is known about them as they were more or less annihilated by the Carthagians and Romans. There's a pretty well-written wiki page about them:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuragic_civilization
Abu Hajaar 15 Feb, 2015 @ 4:15pm
is this historical and if so where are they from?
TheIodio 15 Feb, 2015 @ 2:13pm
i'm from sardinia, and i love this mod !!
TheBoogieBoogieMan 15 Feb, 2015 @ 5:32am
cojonudo!!
DMS  [author] 14 Feb, 2015 @ 2:28am
@Pilatian. Actually I already have the two decisions coded, tested and working - you can see screenshots if you follow the Homepage link in the description (last page I think). Regarding Events, I have 3 almost ready. Just some minor bugfixing..

But.. If you can come up with something, I'd love to see it. I wouldn't mind having a bunch of Events..
Since I don't check Steam all the time, it would be a big help if you could post it in the thread on Civfanatics (again, Homepage link).
Pilatian 14 Feb, 2015 @ 1:23am
Are you having trouble coming up with Events/Decisions? I can help with ideas if you need.
Prinz Eugen von Savoyen 13 Feb, 2015 @ 11:24pm

Thanks. Would be great with some feedback on balance and such.
