I enjoy this mission a lot, its very replayable and throws you into the action. You don't have much to plan and its all think on your feet, without any mission reminders or guidance. I do wish that there was a load out with AT or AA capabilities, as I've had missions where I face multiple gunships or APCs and cannot really combat this. The GL load out has the possibility to disable an APC if you get close enough, and land more than 1 hit without getting killed, but its still do able. I otherwise thoroughly enjoy this scenario, the AI always seems to come out of nowhere because you are fighting in such a compressed AO. The ambiance is great, occasional friendly AI amplify this, and enemies constantly moving around makes the game feel active. Would recommend to anyone looking at it.

ok so i load the game, its pitch black dark. i get vague animations about the situation. the enemy sees me asap if i fire even though they have no NVG at all. the death animations usually get me killed even though i have turned animations off. there seems to be no real point unless u blindly continue to go east. can someone explain this mod to me. cos right now it seems pointless especially since its hard to see WITH NVG yet the enemy can see me without them

Hi ST Tosin,

To complete my last post ....and feedback

As i said , your mod is already near perfect for me, but i 've always though that even if it's randomness and variety are it great asset, it lacks a clear final objective to push forward my troops ! Could you consider a random big base (Principal enemy foothold) that could spawn somewhere along the east coast ? so you could have something to attack and subvert (a each time different Big HQ ...) in order to declare you won this session ?
Imo it would reinforce the feeling "our troops liberate/invade the island"...
Anyways that are just my propositions , i hope i don't feel annoying, rude or whatever , but to be honnest , i just play Arma for your mod...so if my thoughs can inspire you to make it even better i would be the most overjoyed...

Perhaps are you already aware that RHS updated their mod , some new stuff to play with and some bug fixed...
perhaps some more vehicles (Armored and Flying ) could be added in your mod ?
For exemple, I saw some rocket armed mil 8 on red side (they were already present in RHS before their update) ... wonder if you would consider adding them too ? but perhaps you didn't on purpose because of balance reasons ...
I regret the lack of USMC vehicles like the LAVs series... RHS doesnt seems to intend to add them anytime soon... would you consider the possibility to fill the gap in WEST to EAST adding them by using another mod wich have them as a dependancy ?

@christophe.poth thanks for the feedback. Can't believe people are still playing it after all these years. On the spawning or collision issue...I think that's increased since I added convoys. It also mig be due to RHS settings on armor. I'll look into it. Hopefully it's not too game breaking.

Second some vehicles tanks mostly) are spaning in mid air and crashland... annoying to say the last , even more when it's your "only once" requested support armored vehicle...

1. Same comment as below but another reason is they different versions take up my steam space. Apparently each user is alloted a predefined amount of storage to publish missions.
2. I already did that in a secret way. hint - request mortar team.
3. Great idea. I'll look into the timer thing. Challenge us thing means bring on more enemies. test it lol.

@MysticDaedra Yea this plays better with open space. I tend to stick to Vanilla maps. Its super easy to port to maps. I used to do that and the constant maintenance got annoying so I gave it up but feel free to give it a shot on your own. Let me know if you need help.

Hey man, love this mission!

A few quick questions/suggestions:

1. As commented below, any chance of getting a Cherno/Sahrani version?

2. The BLUFOR side needs some AT units added to the roster, whenever I come up against enemy armour I get shredded.

3. In the support menu what does the last option do? And can CAS etc. please be made infinite use (perhaps on a cooldown timer?)

Before I go and try this out, I'm just curious, is this persistent on servers? As in can I resume where I left off after having to restart an ArmA server? Or does the progress reset when you do?

1. I'll say it one more time....YOU CAN DISABLE THE CAMERA!
2. I wanted it this way. I don't wan't to micormanage them and they died standing up too frequently.
3. Adjust your headphones or get new ones or something...
Conclusion: I disagree that its all very stupid. I actually think it makes it unique from other missions out there. Maybe uniquely stupid lol. Anyway thanks for the feedback. None of those points will change anytime soon.

1. Your camera only hinders, because of her, I was killed. She joined in the shooting time.
2. Why did you bend the soldiers with cancer? Do you think the players do not know how to put the bots themselves?
3. Radio about the movements of bots outside the group fucked my ears for 5 minutes.
All this is very stupid and spoils all the good that you have done.

@RickOShay, how about "push east or die" or "push east and win"? On a serious note its not desined to be story driven, etc. I just started coding for Arma and it was an excuse to learn.
