So had to wait for all the gears to take up tension and work on some pin arrangements, waiting to test minute hand right now, we well as see if a small gear solution works for moving to the 2:1+6:1 hand, although i may have to deconstruct some, i think i went 5:1 2:1 5:1 instead of 5:1 2:1 6:1 but first i'll make sure the current gearing works before editing that.

ok so i have to get 60:1, so this is what i'm thinking, 5:1 + 2:1 + 6:1 to get my hour hand, then 2:1+6:1 for 12 hour hand. Got the 5:1 done, working on 2:1 now.

ok i forgot basic 1 on gears, so i have a 4 - 16 gear, its teeth not radius LOL I'm smart sometimes i swear, so i have another 4 gear, i need 240 pin gear, time to start calculating

9 diameter - 25 diamter is 4:1 radius not including center is 4 - 11 radius with is 5-12 radius. so that's not computing correctly to figure this out. New first gear is at 5 dia and hour test gear is 45 dia, so 2 - 22 radius or 3-23 radius including center. should have that avilable tonight once i do an hour long test.

So 20 seconds to 60 seconds, so first one is 4:1 gearset, i have two 1:1's for tonights update which have outputs for 20 second, 60 seconds. Now i have to figure out how to compact a 60:1 to make a minue hand.

somehow mesed up my calculations and got a 1 min 16 second timer. gonna increase gear by 1 radius and see what happens.

The round wood pieces are perfect. Now to time the new gears.

ok, playing with gear designs stil. I want ot make this smoother and get good accuracy. So every time I have to lower a gear by 2 radius or increase a gear, i have to work on tooth designs.

gonna work more on it tomorrow, no update tonight. Back went out and on pain meds.

Later I'll be working on mirroring the timing of hte main gear with a finalized gear design for the clock. Timing it to make sure its 60 seconds. Then work on minute hand gears as well as power translation to top power bars for the face of the clock.

Cool, I have a conveyor idea as well I'll be working on after the clock.

I am also working on gear boxes infact im constructing a Conveyor Belt Right now i have the system working but the belt is giving me issues. Sent you a friend request :D

This is what happens when i dn't get to sleep soon enough. I make more gears. This one is a 5 deep pin in slot design. Would work better with a larger power gear I think, but wanted to get the concept done.

Uploading tonight's build with a new gearing system. Its slim, and makes a nice average 60 second timer for a minute hand of a cock. Will add screenshot as well.

Small update. I have a new slim 60 second gear, but the teeth keep slipping on occasion. Going to wait to upload new version until i fix the teeth issue on this gear set.

So, got a more side by side flat gearbox, unfortuantely i'm at 40 seconds, so I will post an update tonight once I have this at a 1 RPM gear, its semi smooth, can probably work on tooth design, which will come soon.

Going to work on making sure my timings are right and see about some new side to side gear designs.

Got the large gear into the main tower, got my timing down to 1 RPM, so I have the timing for a second hand, now have to do 1:1 second hand (1 rpm), 60:1 minute hand, then off the minute timer, we'll do 12:1 for 12 hour day.

So, I'll hopefully get back to streaming on the first, playing on about a 10 year old laptop right now. CPU/Mobo fried. I'll be back to working on this tomorrow.
