Ah, that little detail with building it by hand did help me find it, the construction model for some reason no longer has proper colliders and it leaks into the finished block, until world reload.

Updated with a fix.

Also I think the my 4 smaller collider catwalks are unnecessary now, the vanilla ones also can be used in tight spaces, I should probably hide them or something...

Note: This is a new Survival world, only the single mod and I could only reproduce the issue by building the block as opposed to placing it with Creative tools (when placed with creative it seems to work).

I need some details guys, some way to replicate it, just pitching in to say you have it doesn't help when I can't get it myself, meaning I don't know if whatever I try fixes it.

yes; first time i installed on coop surv, it was acting as a solid block , but after deleting the block and rebuildin, it behave as it should

Hm, and if you try it in a new empty world with just this mod does it still do that?
And while there, can you go in F11 menu and enable debug draw and re-enable physics draw and post a screenshot?

Also had the issue of acting like a solid block. Lowered the elevator and stood on top in midair

There are some scripted elevator mods that probably can go infinitely high.

So, what do you do if you have more than four decks you want serviced by elevators? Are there any elevator mods that could handle situations with lots of decks?

Thank you *so* much for updating the textures for this to the new catwalks ones! I love this mod, and I'm glad you're keeping it alive. Slight issue though: the edges of the pads are different than the catwalk ones, for some reason.

IDK if this has to do with the bounding box being different, but in case they're supposed to be exact matches, I thought I'd let you know. TBH, It's kinda helpful for me to be able to tell the two apart.

Can you post your SpaceEngineers.log after you've crashed.
It's likely the random audio crash which isn't tied to any mod.

Very nice work, but I note the same problem as others, the buttons don't appear if object detail is not set to high. Since by default the game is set at medium, most players who interacted with my elevator mentionned the problem.

Is there a chance that the current catwalk block models will be applied to this mod? Right now this mod is still the only way to get large moving playforms working without having constant block collisions.

Digi, Any chance you could fix the button? - They seem to be missing for me. its like they are there but as you get closer. disapear. I have check this on 2 diffrent pcs with Fresh world and Fresh installed of the mod/game. with ONLY this mod running. (also had a friend Reproduce it) Only noticed since last 2 patchs, (oonly been back to SE for 3 weeks). after 5months off.

It never had textures.

Check your model detail setting in graphics, it should be high unless your GPU really can't handle lots polygons that well (not this mod tho, the vanilla models are quite poly heavy).

Also the LOD ranges set in the model seem to be completely suggestive, the game shows lower detail models at closer ranges for some reason even at high setting.

Absolutely love this mod, but since the last update it seems to have lost its Textures? I can still color it, but is just a large plate. Could you update this mod so the Elevator plates look like vanilla catwalk plates?

Hello this is a MUST HAVE!!! I tried on vanilla lots of things and only finish with exploding piston head and sub orbital cannon... with this Mod i could finally have a more realist "cabin".

By the way could you add parts :
- Single Button - Block of buttons
- Half Wall
So we could create then a sort of cabin on planet to avoid people falling from 20 or 30 metters untill lift stop to safe place :p

Hi there, would you please make a blockversion of the one buton catwalk without the catwalk? I searching for a mod that adds only a small one button pillar to the game and without the catwalk it would fit in perfectly.You would make my dream come true :-)

Makes for a nice layout when creating an elevator. Used it to create a vehicle elevator for our mountain base but there seems to be a bug with the normal catwalk pieces. The vehicle begins sliding to the side and wont stop.

Well it seems to have issues inside the game code, something that I don't see how I can affect or even fix from my end.

You also seem to have it extracted, I assume for playing offline or something... are you using the latest game version ?

my crash log when the errors began. Where the "[username]" is, I simply replaced the actual username, which is my username on my pc, for privacy purposes.

I think recent changes no longer make this mod viable due to the inability to place these panels on top of pistons in close proximity to other solid blocks.

Or perhaps you can offer some tips or tricks for placing these panels near other solid block units without errors, or exploding?
