After additional testing, it looks as though there is a larger problem with custom maps as a whole.

Steam version. I put the scripts in the random_maps directory with the es_maps. So did my friend. Single player works fine. It seems to think there is a data mod mismatch or something; the map seed generates as expected and I'm able to play after it disconnects my friend. Wonder if it would display different behavior if it was published with the new mod system.

I can't really comment on that. Try putting the scripts where the es_ maps are.

We were using LR_Black_Forest_v1.1. I have the game installed to a non-standard directory, so it could be related to the Definitive Edition's File Error 12.

Hi, my friend and I manually downloaded this mod and placed it in the RMS directory. We are both able to use it in single player in AoE2:DE. When we try to play multiplayer vs AI, the script generates but my friend crashes and I'm left with the AI...

Hey Zetnus ! Me and my buds Jonny, Veefox, Raylight really but REALLY ENJOY ! Your pack ! Been playing your LR maps since a year or 2. I was wondering, do you plan making LR maps with the new released map types ?

I actually did something where I took a land nomad map, used the normal nomad script and added more resources to it and it works pretty good on LudiKRIS I feel. Resources are nicely spread. I used your script for refrence with the resources. Do you want the script maybe?

@Reaper8U - Well, I cannot change the AI, but maybe I can make it so that the starting villagers are a bit closer to together and more localised. I think you were just unlucky though, since this can also happen with the vanilla nomad map.

I noticed something about LR_Nomad._v1.1. The resources is pretty spread out on LudiKRIS size, but there are a few places where you got good with Gold, Stone and Food. The problem is that when playing with AI, it seems they all settle down where those places are, so it ends up with all the AIs setting down on top of eachother even if the map is very big. Maybe you could do something to fix this?

Just used this mod recently and it was great. I have wanted to play with more resources on an existing game map and it was a lot of fun. I have no expansions either and it still worked fine.

I haven't been able to upgrade to the new system yet. Please manually move the files to \Age2HD\resources\_common\random-map-scripts

This doesn't show up with the new update? The maps don't appear, tried manual install as well as subscribe. Anyone else have this issue?
