Considering that the original mod author has not been on steam in over 3 years, I am assuming this mod has been abandoned.

I have released an updated and slightly modified version on the workshop, found here:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1611149593

If the original mod author returns and asks me to remove my mod, I will oblige.

Hi! First off, thanks for making this mod! It's exactly what I'm looking for. I took the liberty of updating my personal copy of it to incorporate the changes Holy Fury made to employment decisions and also made some small adjustments. Would you mind if I uploaded it to the workshop? I would link to the original mod and give you credit, of course.
Elden Ring 2 when? 27 Dec, 2018 @ 11:34am
this mod actually disables the box window it just auto generates without popping a box for them

Anybody know if this mod is still up to date?
Ghaladh 3 Mar, 2016 @ 3:45pm
I modded the traits so that I can give a +10 to all characters in their specialty, in this way I can hire no less than an average courtesan without having to try too hard. Lately the character generator was giving me only crap (not because of the mod, but because of the chargen of the game).
TheStaticZ 6 Feb, 2016 @ 8:05am
update mod please
Ghaladh 5 Feb, 2016 @ 11:11am
Since the patch I don't see the options to invite the courtesans in the intrigue menu. "invite a squire" from your other mod, instead, works fine.
HannibalCannae 2 Feb, 2016 @ 6:19pm
ghaldh I concur with you getting rid of the crappy gen characters with those traits is a good move.
Ghaladh 30 Jan, 2016 @ 12:12pm
Very convenient! Thanks. I like the fact that the stats are not necessarily OP. (Once I got a soldier with 28 points of martial but it was just luck!) What I would love is to avoid getting subpar, Slow or Idiot courtiers... I'm paying gold for them!

Would it be possible to exclude some traits from the NPC generator or extabilishing minimum stats levels? Inviting a spy with the Slow trait and a base Intrigue of 2 is quite annoying when it costed me 125 gold...

Anyway for me to make it so it has a 50/50 shot at which gender it adds? Or a way to choose which gender you want? (Preferably something that doesn't clutter the intrigue menu screen too much)

is there a reason why my customization pack doesnt work with this mod?
jaydimes10852 11 Mar, 2015 @ 10:11pm
i just did that and it still didnt update??? im really pissed
ParNuminex 11 Mar, 2015 @ 9:17pm
you have to delete the game then redownload it.
jaydimes10852 11 Mar, 2015 @ 8:20pm
can somebody please tell me step by step how to get the 2.3.2 update. every time i open ck2 it still says 2.2.1 dpoo
Eusopher 10 Mar, 2015 @ 8:08pm
@Indi Yep, I'm at 250+ courtiers in my current game. If you're not Catholic, your family just gets so big!
Indi 9 Mar, 2015 @ 10:59pm
@jerry.barrington You clearly haven't had a huge sprawling court and wanted to find a specific person.
jerry.barrington 9 Mar, 2015 @ 9:25pm
@Cloaked Figure
You don't need the traits to find your new courtiers. They'll be on the Court tab of your character page.

@Aven Soraster
Any time you add or remove any mod that changes traits, it risks screwing up existing characters' traits.

Please add in big red letters that this mod isn't Ironman compatible.

Just looked at RaW mod, his employment_decisions.txt adds some traits to the recuited characters and changes prices. Nothing major, if you want to use the two together just delete his.
kimstad 8 Mar, 2015 @ 3:55am
Hooni's RaW mod has employment_decisions.txt in it, not sure if it actually does anything though
Cloaked Figure  [author] 7 Mar, 2015 @ 11:23am
One of the other mods is probably using employment_decisions.txt. That is the only thing I can think of.
Aven Soraster 7 Mar, 2015 @ 10:42am
... I have a problem, all of the new traits that you put in have been replaced in a save I just loaded. It never happened before and I've been playing that save with this mod without such a problem. All debutantes have 'Academic Advisor' instead of the 'Debutante' trait and all males have the 'Blood of Wilhelminer' from the Bloodlines mod. This does not affect ones I hire the time after the save has been loaded, so NEW debutantes... no prob, OLD ones, for some reason someone hired them for 'theology' or something :/
LikkerdySplit 5 Mar, 2015 @ 10:50pm
Well that's a fine idea, and it sounds like it won't mess anything else up neither, good work, God bless you.
Cloaked Figure  [author] 4 Mar, 2015 @ 4:33pm
@Aven Soraster I made a new mod to invite a squire. Here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=402694410
Cloaked Figure  [author] 4 Mar, 2015 @ 12:16pm
I forgot to mention in my last post, my custom traits do not replace any of the 00_traits.txt files the game uses by default. My traits are added in on there own file that is only accessed by my mod. So it should not cause compatiblity issues with any other mod that replaces the traits.txt or adds other traits.
Cloaked Figure  [author] 4 Mar, 2015 @ 11:39am
@Aven Soraster I do not use Hooni's RaW mod but it should be compatible, my mod only replaces employment_decisions.txt.

When it comes to fertility from what I read, the 30+ courtiers only effects the AI's court. It does not effect the player character. But that is just what I have read on the paradox forums, some of the posters claim they had a court size well into the 100s.

I can add a version of the mod with a male debutante decision, It wouldn't be hard or take that long to make it. I'll add it later under other links, when it comes to age of them I'm not sure if the game will reconize and age range. But I'll find out.
Aven Soraster 4 Mar, 2015 @ 1:50am
Oh, also, building on my first question, I noticed you'd also add traits such as Debutante and Advisor. Since I had problems for compatibility before for traits with the RaW mod, I thought I should say :)

Also, can there be like either a separate 'male debutante' decision or keeping the range of ages for the employable male courtiers around 22-30? Sometimes I require using decisions like these for matrilineal marriages in the realm and it takes around 5 tries to get a decently young dude, which is awkwardly id iotic :/
Aven Soraster 4 Mar, 2015 @ 1:43am
Ah, just what I was looking for :D Two questions though (one not related to this mod)

- Is this compatible with Hooni's RaW mod? Based on the mod description, this should be compatible with anything as long as it doesn't touch on the employment_decisions.txt. And so far, I haven't noticed anything concerning that, so I'm basically just making sure :)

- Is it true that the amount of courtiers in your court affects your 'fertility'? Like, does it become difficult to make the fem-courtiers pregnant when there's around 30+ people in the court? Very non-mod related question but since I'm here I thought I should ask :D
