Hey man, can you make a mod that replace the mediocre minor mediocre orange settlements into different resource settlements ? There's no incentive to specialize just seeing provinces that looked the same as Libya, Karalis or even Boiotia in Wrath of Sparta.
Valryia 5 Jun, 2023 @ 12:11pm
Can i ask, does this work with the map mods?
ArgonOwl  [author] 3 Apr, 2022 @ 4:15pm

Hi, can you please tell us what is new/different in the April 3rd update? Thanks.
Alexander The Greek 27 Feb, 2022 @ 9:28am
Yes, I already tried it.
ArgonOwl  [author] 27 Feb, 2022 @ 9:17am
@Alexander the Greek
Yes, this should work with the 4 turns per year mod.
Alexander The Greek 2 Nov, 2021 @ 7:43am
Does it work for 4 turns per year?
tonetone 13 Oct, 2021 @ 10:06pm
Yes it works. There was another small update to the game I believe a month or so after RotR. That is why the mod shows out of date but it works fine. Make sure out of date mods are enabled in mod manager.
anthonyl 10 Oct, 2021 @ 9:13am
Is this mod working properly with Game Version 2.4.0 ?
El muro supremo del trump 1 May, 2021 @ 5:37pm

Alzic 18 Feb, 2019 @ 6:16pm
Great mod, is it save game compatible? sorry if this has been answered.
Thanks in advance
ArgonOwl  [author] 28 Dec, 2018 @ 6:50am
slave resource is made by building the slave commercial structure in a major city, all factions have some variant of this building so you should be able to make it.
Norush 27 Dec, 2018 @ 9:27am
where do i get the slave resource? i have mayby 20 visible factions and non of em are exporting or importing them.
Morris6 1 Sep, 2018 @ 5:32pm
Hey, verjos28.
I have copied "resources revived" from a back up of Rome 2 and renamed it "resources revived_19" and my save game now works fine again (A grand campaing on patch 19). I don't know how to share it with you. If someone tells me I will try it soon.
I don't think it was realised that save games playing anything before the latest update wont work anymore without horse amber and salt. If that is the problem.
And Thanks Azar for making and sharing this mod it has made Rome 2 much better. I'ts not the same without this mod and I wanted to do it myself but have no idea how, so I looked at mods and found yours, your choice of resources and buildings that depend on them is what the game was lacking and has ended up showning me how to make Rome 2 as much like the Settlers 1-4 as I probably can.
verjos28 25 Aug, 2018 @ 8:50am
Hey Azar
Great Mode. Do You have a Patch 19 Version ?
Greetings
BVod 18 Aug, 2018 @ 1:21pm
Hey Azar, I think I might have figured out why I could never get grain and cattle resources from barbarian minor settlements. I think that the problem is that barb factions might have major and minor farming buildings for minor and major settlements. I wonder if the mod only affects the major city farming buildings and not the minor ones. What do you think?
Brigantes Celt 15 Aug, 2018 @ 11:54pm
Are you sure you updated it for RotR? I tried it, and I see no new resources there.
I'm going to delete the mod, then re-install it, and try again, to see if they are on.
tonetone 14 Aug, 2018 @ 10:14pm
Glad I checked back thanks for the update!!
ArgonOwl  [author] 12 Aug, 2018 @ 8:37pm
no problem!
Platon Afanasev 1998 12 Aug, 2018 @ 7:50pm
thank you very much for the update)
ArgonOwl  [author] 12 Aug, 2018 @ 12:57pm
@platon-afanasev-1998
Mod is now updated for "Rise of the Republic" DLC and patch 20!
Looking at the game data, the developers have added the resources Amber, Salt, and Horses to the game!
I have altered my files acordingly so buildings will produce the newly bonafide resources (rather than my modded ones.)
Enjoy!
Platon Afanasev 1998 12 Aug, 2018 @ 7:05am
hello, I would like to know when about you can update this mod?
Platon Afanasev 1998 12 Aug, 2018 @ 7:04am

BVod 11 Aug, 2018 @ 7:14pm
Hey Azar, what's up? So I recently played RotR, and I saw that CA has introduced salt and horses into that campaign. I was wondering if you had any plans on updating this mod? Thanks in advance.
ArgonOwl  [author] 10 May, 2018 @ 12:18pm
@atroxservice, The Odrysian Kingdom has access to the barbarian salt workshop (a branch of the craftsmen house) acording to Honga. So you should be able to produce salt at the city of your choice.
As i have stated: the resources are attached to the buildings not the geographical locations.
ArgonOwl  [author] 10 May, 2018 @ 12:11pm
@brfvod
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Resources Revived is now updated for Desert Kingdoms pack, all new desert buildings will produce resources as they should.
Enjoy!
BVod 7 May, 2018 @ 4:46pm
Hey Azar I was just playing as Kush and I can't produce slaves or gold.
{S~A} Crusader 11 Apr, 2018 @ 11:30am
any chance of copper please as i cant find it
atroxservice 11 Apr, 2018 @ 8:02am
Azar. please please resource salt in the city of the Odrysian kingdom!
This is historically accurate - the oldest developed salt mine in Europe!
It still works!
ArgonOwl  [author] 5 Apr, 2018 @ 6:04am
It should be working with P19. It works when I play anyway.
Imperator of Rome 4 Apr, 2018 @ 5:27pm
How bout instead, making it work with P19?
MANWHATADONGA 3 Apr, 2018 @ 4:45pm
Thank you Azar
ArgonOwl  [author] 3 Apr, 2018 @ 6:16am
@donaldclarke1
Sorry that it nolonger works with P17, I changed the community spice market buildings to create spices instead of salt (made more sense to me.) This is what is causing the incompatiblilty. My Skeleton Resources Revived mod will still work with P17.
MANWHATADONGA 2 Apr, 2018 @ 8:03pm
This no longer works with P17.If possible could you please put a P17 mod on.This mod should have been in game at start
Imperator of Rome 1 Apr, 2018 @ 6:28am
It says it hasn't been updated since January 12th
ArgonOwl  [author] 31 Mar, 2018 @ 3:35pm
@Siberian Spetsnaz
I removed the honey because I felt it didn't have any particular building that it could belong to.
Yes, I belive I upated for Patch 19, It should work.
I have no idea why the icon for livsotck is purple.
Imperator of Rome 30 Mar, 2018 @ 1:23pm
hellooooooo???
Imperator of Rome 26 Mar, 2018 @ 1:03pm
And why is the Structure for Icon for Livestock a Temple of Jupiter Icon colored purple?
Imperator of Rome 26 Mar, 2018 @ 1:01pm
So... will this be updated for Patch 19 Compatibility soon?
Also, why did they remove Honey?
ArgonOwl  [author] 8 Mar, 2018 @ 1:24pm
It should still work, but I have not yet added the newest buildings.
BVod 8 Mar, 2018 @ 1:11pm
Hey Azar, I have another question. Will your mod work with the newest dlc?
atroxservice 4 Mar, 2018 @ 1:32am
Hello!
Thanks for the good job!
I write you from Bulgaria - the homeland of the Thracians!
If you want, you can add resource salt to Odessos, because there (at 20km) there is the ancient salt mine, which is developed by the people - archaeological excavations there is the oldest fortress that precedes the civilization in Mesopotamia!
Archaeological excavations date back to the fortress at 7500 years and found molds for pouring salt bars, which at that time were more valuable than gold! The walls of the fortress are stronger than a medieval fortress and for a long time they have controlled the area! The salt mine continues to work today, having a unique composition - located in the town of Provadia 20-30km. from Varna (Odessos)!
Near Varna you can find the oldest processed gold - the civilization of Varna was named! I hope I have been useful to you about the historicity of your work!
Greetings from Bulgaria!
