What do we do if Belethor is dead, and his corpse has de-spawned? I have tried to resurrect him, but it's not giving me the prompt to but anything from him.

Dark Arts Sacrifice (Spell that makes the target give their life to heal your health and magicka), Dark Moon Hypnosis (Spell that turns the moon dark sending a hypno wave around the caster making everyone within an XXft. area take thier lives.
noirstream 2 Feb, 2018 @ 2:11pm
you make some really awesome mods
Yokai  [author] 8 Jan, 2018 @ 2:43am
Nah I still have them. The way cloaks work is that they apply a spell to any target in range that meets the condition. I must have forgotten to add the condition "Ishostile".
Foehammer 7 Jan, 2018 @ 7:15pm
Do you want the files? I can email you so you can upload them. Also the cloak kills allies, idk how to mod so dont know how to fix.
Yokai  [author] 7 Jan, 2018 @ 1:09pm
Aha, that's pretty nice then, it makes porting it properly a lot easier if I ever decide to do it.
Foehammer 6 Jan, 2018 @ 7:34pm
I GOT IT! lol i just had to delete the BSA file after unpacking it... I know im dumb.
Yokai  [author] 6 Jan, 2018 @ 4:14pm
Yeah I doubt it'll work for SE. Unfortunately, a lot of mods have to be rebuilt completely for SE, but: I might have already started work on it ages ago. If I have, you'll be in luck. That's a big if though.
Foehammer 6 Jan, 2018 @ 2:57pm
I even tried to change the BSA extract ir got the mesh then re-install the compressed ZIP. Im at a loss here.
Foehammer 6 Jan, 2018 @ 2:55pm
Well i tried. I put it through NMM opened it up with the SE CK edited an name saved then renamed it saved again, then i installed it in NMM now when i hit play the game doesnt open :( i really need this mod in my life.:steamsad:
Foehammer 6 Jan, 2018 @ 10:57am
Can i transfer this to Skrim SE?
Yokai  [author] 3 Jan, 2018 @ 7:36am
@HoLiDy TaCOTiN If you put this mod before the perk mod in the load order, you'll be able to use the perks of the other mod, but it will overwrite the perk tree of this one, which means you'll need to use the console to give yourself the perks manually. This can be done by typing help "Dark Arts" and then "player.addperk X" where X is the string of 8 numbers assigned to the PERK-type value called Dark Arts (there should be 3 of them, 1 for each rank).
TacoTin 2 Jan, 2018 @ 4:39am
This probably is not compatible with other perk mods, I assume.
SkyTable 2 May, 2017 @ 6:26pm
Are there cods i can have im a lazy person trying to just mess around
Moko Moko 10 Mar, 2017 @ 4:21pm
oh. That sucks.
Yokai  [author] 10 Mar, 2017 @ 2:30pm
While your offer is appreciated, I stopped playing Skyrim a long time ago, and have no interest in finishing this.
Moko Moko 10 Mar, 2017 @ 2:20pm
I might know someone who could help you out. a guy named DJ Red Rad. Good buddy of mine. He does mods and stuff he might be able to help you out.
Yokai  [author] 10 Mar, 2017 @ 2:18pm
Yep, cos Skyrim's system is really difficult to use, and unless you both know Papyrus *and* simultaneously can tolerate all your data being inexplicably deleted all the time, y'aint getting anything complicated.
Moko Moko 10 Mar, 2017 @ 2:08pm
Oh. I thought this looked cool but all the really cool spells don't seem to be implemented?
Yokai  [author] 10 Mar, 2017 @ 9:19am
If by live you mean "does it still work" then yes. If by live you mean "Is anyone still developing this", then no.
Moko Moko 9 Mar, 2017 @ 2:51pm
Is this still live?
Yokai  [author] 29 Sep, 2016 @ 2:53am
Yes, but depending on whose perk tree you want for restoration, put it in a different order (the order won't effect all the other perk trees, they'll be ordinator's regardless). If you want the ordinator perk tree, put Ordinator below this. (you can get the perks from this mod using the console).
TheAngryArgonian 28 Sep, 2016 @ 10:04pm
Is this compatible with Ordinator?
Yokai  [author] 25 Jul, 2016 @ 1:51pm
IE, the script would go through the inventory, identify soul gems (based on item ID), remove the first gem and add a certain value to a total based on that item's ID, delete the item then check the next gem and do the same and so on until there are not further gems left.
Yokai  [author] 25 Jul, 2016 @ 1:50pm
All mods are free, aren't they? Did steam try to make paid mods a thing again?

As for the soul gems, I was actually imagining putting the value assigning in the spell script. I don't know Papyrus, but if it were the pseudocode used in RPGMaker, I reckon that's how I'd do it there.
Joker19807 ( Baba ) 24 Jul, 2016 @ 6:54am
is this mod Free
Requiem 24 Jul, 2016 @ 5:30am
However, I will take a look and see if I can manage to make a system that works around that.
Requiem 24 Jul, 2016 @ 5:29am
It's definately an idea... But if it involves editing the soul gems or mobs themselves, I don't really want to get into it, as that opens up a whole bunch of compatability issues with anything that makes the slightest changes to that data.
Yokai  [author] 23 Jul, 2016 @ 1:01pm
Maybe let multiple gems be used? I think that might be easy to do if you assigned each type a number of seconds. Then the script could simply add up the values of each of the gems used.
Yokai  [author] 23 Jul, 2016 @ 1:00pm
Well, I was thinking that you'd use the soul gem appropriate to the corpse type (so petty for skeever, black for human etc), but I like the timing idea too. It's probably too complicated but I wonder if it would be possible to combine the two? So each corpse has a minimum soul size, and beyond that you get extra time, so a Wolf with a Lesser Soul couldn't be resurrected with a Petty soul, and using a Lesser Soul would give the minimum time of say... 60 seconds. Using a (tier 3, forgot the name) soul gem would give 120 seconds, a Greater would give 180 and a Grand would give 240... or probably an exponential growth actually. Given the rarity of large souls, something like 60/180/360/720/1440 might be more appropriate.
Requiem 23 Jul, 2016 @ 7:14am
Hmm, so perhaps setting up a spell that runs a script check for a charged soulgem in a corpses inv and then reanimates it for a time dependant on the level of soul used. Ranging from 30s at petty, to thralls/30mins at grand.
Yokai  [author] 23 Jul, 2016 @ 12:42am
True. I think the simplest way of doing this might be to have the player put a soul gem of the appropriate size into the body's inventory, and then have it only resurrect if it finds the gem? That way the player can decide which gem it consumes and the spell won't automatically waste that black soul gem on a spider.
Undead Wolf 22 Jul, 2016 @ 4:08pm
Good thinking, Yokai. But the damaging spells would only work on either living or undead enemies, so daedra and automatons would still require some other kind of damage magic, though the restoration damage spells could be weaker than destruction spells of the same level. As for reviving with restoration, that soulgem idea is nice. Would be best to use a soulgem on the body, so that you require some preparation, or maybe limit the use of the body to recently deceased, like a few seconds after death.
Yokai  [author] 22 Jul, 2016 @ 12:37pm
I think at that point you might be getting a little broken, though, cos now with a single school you could remove the need for destruction entirely and remove the need for Conjuration besides Soul Trap. Since it's manipulating life force rather than souls like Conjuration does, perhaps there would be a way to put a limit of some kind on the resurrection? Perhaps if you were to hit the target with a spell then it will revive when it dies (so like Soul Trap, except instead of filling a soul gem upon death, it captures the escaping life essence and directs it back into the body?) Or perhaps since you're not conjuring a spirit, you have to use the soul from a soul gem?
Undead Wolf 17 Jul, 2016 @ 10:19pm
Reaper'sMercy, I think that you could make them detect race or actor type, so the spells don't affect automatons or dremora, and heal undead(actually, make new healing spells that damage undead, and damage spells that heal undead). I even made a simple code go that far, but I couldn't manage to set the spell to make the living, and not undead, hostile, nor the other way around. If you could code the Magic Effect itself to trigger hostility, instead of setting it in the spell, it should do, though. Oh, if you added reanimation spells to Restoration as well(as in, instead of summoning a ghost to take over the body, you infuse it with life force to make it do your bidding), you could make a Dark Priest that uses necromancy, without needing Conjuration.
Requiem 19 Jun, 2016 @ 5:02pm
Thank you, that'd be great. I think I'm going to scrap all the perks and do a different system for them, to make it more compatable with overhaul mods. Perhaps add a custom merchant that gives quests that unlock the spell and perk tomes for purchase.
Yokai  [author] 19 Jun, 2016 @ 3:26pm
Well, you're already beating me :P I'm off to bed now but I can send you it tomorrow.
Requiem 19 Jun, 2016 @ 1:39pm
If you could send me that, it'd be great. I just spent a few minutes working on dominate, added the DoT effect and got it to count as a restoration spell rather than alteration. Also made the visuals fit with the rest of the spells a little more closely.
Yokai  [author] 19 Jun, 2016 @ 12:59pm
Also, for the record, no one will ever know if you're only altering it for private use :P But absolutely, you can upload it too as long as you credit the original mod.
Yokai  [author] 19 Jun, 2016 @ 12:58pm
Sure, go ahead! I'll be interested to see what you do with it. I have the details for the BLack Priest's stuff saved in a document still, so I can send you that if you want it.
Requiem 19 Jun, 2016 @ 12:22pm
Would I have permission to continue it for personal use, and perhaps eventually for release?
Yokai  [author] 19 Jun, 2016 @ 8:34am
No, I'm done with Skyrim at least for now. Might get back into it a bit with Remastered edition, but probably not long enough to resume modding.
Requiem 19 Jun, 2016 @ 4:10am
Hey, do you have any plans to continue this mod?
iOrigami 17 May, 2016 @ 8:13am
By the way, you should recommend every1 to check out Immersive Armors, some alternative armorless outfits(so you can go full priest-like) go crazy well with this dark playstyle.
iOrigami 17 May, 2016 @ 8:10am
@Dragonheart2047 Have you made sure that the mod is enabled in Data Files? You can find this in the starting screen before launching the game.
iOrigami 17 May, 2016 @ 8:08am
Thumbs up + my first favorited mod. Love it! Gives a dark touch to the elegant healing, which makes for a deceivingly beautiful playstyle.
Skyhawk 23 Apr, 2016 @ 1:04pm
I can't seem to find any tomes in belethors inventory or in his shop. Or anywhere else for that matter. Any suggestions?
