Haha, I think they're slated to be included in the upcoming expansion Lost Lands - but their execution is probably gonna be very different.

Finally!! Darkgod must bring it to the base game

Gotta say, in case anyone else comes by: this still works, and it's great.
Actually, all your mods are pretty great. Thanks for all the nice work! :]

and TY for the response.

Played about 10 hours with a vampire. Everything is running just fine. Thanks for the awesome mod man, I will check out your race pack though. Didn't know you had one. Maybe you should get back into modding, you are obviously good at it ;)

I haven't modded in ages and I dont play tome much but unless the code's changed a LOT this one should work fine. I recommend using my race pack, as this one was deprecated by that one.

Does this mod still work (seems to at lower levels) or will it cause issues down the road??
Amethyst 1 Mar, 2018 @ 2:09pm
.....I didn't even realize it was instant. >_> I thought it was based on your attack speed XD My mistake! It just means all my vampires will be Doombringers, though.
LixieLorn  [author] 1 Mar, 2018 @ 11:16am
Aha, yes, there are things that heal for a % of damage done.
This isn't one of them. Because it's an /instant/ attack. If it was an instant attack that also healed you, it would be unnecessarily strong - the effect of the talent is the instant damage. The heal is mostly fluff.
Amethyst 26 Feb, 2018 @ 5:18pm
I think what Feliscon is asking is for the heal to function like the Doombringer's starting talent, 'Draining Assault,' which heals you for a percentage of the weapon damage dealt with the talent, as opposed to being basically a nerfed version of the Wyrmic talent 'Swallow,' which heals you only if the talent kills the target, and even then only by a very small amount, the target's level.

For clarification, at level 50, assuming you're fighting enemies of your level, that would only heal 50 health. 1st-level characters start with at least twice this much, or more if they're a Constitution-heavy class. 50th-level characters can easily have over a few thousand health, and likely approach 50 passive health ~regen~ with certain builds.
LixieLorn  [author] 6 Sep, 2016 @ 10:27pm
I'm pretty sure there aren't any heals that give you a % of your health. At least, I can't think of any.
Swallow is already an /instant damage talent/. If it does that and is also a strong heal, it's gonna be too strong.
feliscon 5 Sep, 2016 @ 7:02pm
There are already talents that heal for %dmg, though... Maybe look at something between those and Swallow for appropriate numbers?
LixieLorn  [author] 25 Oct, 2015 @ 1:38pm
I /can/ but what I meant was I /shouldn't/. Making a talent that is straight up better than an existing one is... bad.
Ponypony 25 Oct, 2015 @ 12:18pm
you can buff heals i think by editing the talent
LixieLorn  [author] 5 Oct, 2015 @ 5:56pm
As I said, adding it to the description proper messes with how it shows up in game. I /think/ the undead category will be locked if you haven't unlocked any of them..? I'm not sure! I'll see if I can change that next time I update.

Glad you're enjoying it, though! =D
VinchenzoTheJackal & Shoon 4 Oct, 2015 @ 2:49pm
I love this race!... but I see you have yet to update the description... but I'm okay with that!
However, I just realized something, I unlocked Undead races before this mod, and am now wondering if this mod properly allows the player to only use its features after unlocking Undead races in the games campaign?
If it doesn't, I must admit, it would be odd for other people to use this mod, only to be alerted they unlocked Undead races while using an Undead race... but it is solely your decision if you want that or not.
Updating this mod, is completely un-needed so far, considering how it is constructed decently and balanced.
LixieLorn  [author] 4 Oct, 2015 @ 9:39am
Yeah, the heals kinda... meh.
Sadly, it's literally copied from an existing talent, so I can't really buff it.
Vane 3 Oct, 2015 @ 10:16pm
The bite is next to useless as a healing ability. Healing a targetlevel amount of health is extremely weak and doesn't scale with levels well. Make it, for example 25% of dealt damage, or something, because, as an arcane blade vampire, you wouldn't have any heals except this one, IIRC.

copied from the thread on the forum:
+2 Str, Dex, Con, Cun
+4 Mag, Wil
Undead traits
40% exp penalty

This should be added to the description. But thanx, with this knowledge, I know about using this race and what I would want to use it for. Rating and favoriting, and may subscribe soon.

This sounds like a great addition to the other undead races... but I would like to know about the Vampire race in detail. What are the exact Necromancer Talent Trees that the Vampire gains? What are the Vampire's racial traits and abilities, as well as any positive or negative health gained per level?
If you add these things to the Description, or put it as a reply to this comment, it would make many people very happy, and willing to rate, favorite, and subscribe... in comparison to a few...

Done!
Don't actually remember what the bug I fixed in that version was. It should still be fixed, though.
I did, however, fix the new 'bug' that the Sunwalker talent name was in allcaps. Oops.

Version mismatch between Steam Workshop and te4.org addon repository. Update this to your Apr. 24 version?
LixieLorn  [author] 27 Jul, 2015 @ 6:20pm
No undead race can get that quest, because they're already (un)dead. If you check the prerequisites for Lichform, it says 'not already undead'.
Venser's Prodigy 27 Jul, 2015 @ 4:08pm
I suspect it is, as some fantasy setting do not allow vampires to become liches because they are already an advanced form of undead.
Benevolyn 21 Jun, 2015 @ 12:44am
Is it intended that you can't get the quest "From Death, Life", thus not being able to become a lich? Because then I don't see the point in getting the lich-tree as a Vampire
