Two other options for stuck vehicles: 1) Traffic Manager: Presidential Edition adds a red x to delete individual vehicles; 2) use vehicle info to jump and delete the building that spawned the vehicle (residence, taxi stand, etc. ).

Don't bother with this mod. It doesn't work. If you have a confused vehicle, click to jump to the owner and delete the building. The vehicle will despawn automatically. It might not be as elegant but it uses vanilla game-logic to remove the vehicle, not a mod which doesn't work.

My cargo ships work fine, but the passenger ships go to edge of map and continue in circles, blocking all traffic, so I had to turn off all harbors. Not sure if this mod is to blame, but it's definitely a suspect. Also, the "remove vehicle" feature in-game is finicky. Basically need to pause game, hold the button and wait a few seconds for it to disappear.

My Ships are backed up for miles. I click "remove vehicle" on the ship but it doesn't despawn. Is it supposed to work on ships? the line of ships is backed up from the border of the map to the city boundary. the problematic ship spawned from and is going to the same border town and i think it's bugged.

nevermind, I just deleted all Harbours and all confused ships despawned at once.

I have currently always 3-4 confused ships on my main water route which is why its completly stuck and import/export is is getting problematic. They are despawning after some minutes, but because up to 10 ships are stuck around them new ships are getting confused when one confused ship is despawning.

After installing this mod I can see in the info box that the ships are confused, but the despawning behaviour is not changed at all. How can I manually remove the ships?

I still need to test it, but what is in the same line as the garbage ai improvement is sos cars AI improvement. Could you have a look ? I am not that convinced mass transit is going to solve this

Rebuilding against the latest DLLs will fix this.

Remove vehicle button no longer working after the update. It's a very useful tool. Can you make it work again?

I have a problem, i have 4 confused ships and i see the option to remove them, yet when i do click on the "Remove vehicle" nothing is happening, the text just gets dark.

Excellent ! Didn't have any cargo ships coming anymore which screwed the entire city. Now it's all good again !

Good idea but screws the look of the game when it starts removing half of two part vehicles, ie. vehicles with trailers. You have trailers driving around your city everywhere

Couldn't remove vehicles manually. This needs an update and since it seem the maker is unavailable for that Im gonna try something else.

Thank you for this. I had a derailed train that wouldn't despawn, not even after having removed all tracks nearby. This mod was an instant and simple solution.

Edit: I got a lot of errors after using it though, and posted details on a discussion. Unsubscribing and restarting CS solved it all.

Hi Soda, just had a report that the "Prevent Despawn" option in T++ will break your mod. So if you get weird reports about the mod not working, check to see if they have T++ and make sure they've disabled the "Prevent Despawn" option in Content Manager > Mods > Traffic++ > Options.

Managed to fix the problem. I used the advanced vehicle options mod to delete all the trains in the city.

Ive got a problem that this mod isn't fixing. I deleted a train route which glitched out a train. I then used the mod to delete the train but it left a single carriage behind that's blocking the tracks and it wont even let me select it to do anything about it. I even waited a while to see if it deleted it itself but nope. Is there anyway to fix this?

You absolute lifesaver! I was getting no cargo into my city at all and a couple minutes after installing this (and a couple other of your mods which seemed interesting) suddenly my roads are full of commercial vehicles and cargo ships are everywhere! Also noticing cargo trains again (Hadn't seen them for ages now)

@derek328, yes, I will still be releasing my other modules. ARIS, T++, and TM all cover different aspects of the game; any overlap are actually talked about amongst the devs. I'm currently working on upgrading the hearse AI, since that's the foundation for the ambulance and fire truck AIs. Once I get to a good stopping point for that, I'd be able to change a few things to port it over to the other AIs.

This mod (Remove Stuck Vehicle) does not clash with T++'s prevent despawn option. Despawn is actually referring the game's automatic removal feature. This mod does not use nor interfere with that feature. Instead, it has its own means of deciding when something should be removed. The game's m_nodespawn flag is not taken into consideration by this mod; therefore, T++ changing that flag will only prevent the game from despawning vehicles, not this mod.

hey @Soda! i was just wondering with Traffic++'s latest massive updates, would you still be releasing your other modules? also, does this Remove Stuck Vehicles ARIS module clash with the "prevent despawn function in T++?

let us know!! i'm a big fan of your work, and it's nice T++ isn't the cancer it used to be anymore. :)

Guys, turns out that the existing version of this mod in the workshop works fine. What is broken is the game's mod list after the update. The patch didn't seem to do a clean job. So, just unsubscribe, start the game, and then resubscribe. That will clear the existing entry and create a new (and properly formed) entry.

I downloaded this mod with all the other ARIS ones...sorry to say I did. I never really had a problem with stuck traffic before, so I shouldn't have even got this. However, I did...just in case. Now I actually AM having stuck traffic. There will be random trailers from semi trucks stuck in the middle of the road, quickly moving back and forth and blocking traffic. And it's not just one every now and then...it's lots of them...all over the map that I have to chase down and manually delete. It's a major traffic issue. This mod creates a problem it claims to fix. -_-
