Hats off the the best mod for creating sandbox scenarios and battles easily with custom ships in game, it will truly be missed, nothing has ever been like it.

The lack of a mod like this or my ignorance of one in existence keeps me from playing Space Engineers at the moment as I want to have custom battles against AI! I wish someone would restore this mod!

Sorry guys. For now this is dead. I too really liked it :)
The sad truth is that I can't keep up with KSH. They change the game frequently, and some of the stuff they implemented behind the scenes made it very difficult to control the ships. So while I could (easily?) "fix" the mod so that it loads into the newest version of the game, the enemies would not behave as expected. Maybe sometime down the road (once the game API stabilizes), I will look for a fix. Hopefully KSH will implement something of this sort on their own before then.

It's a shame this mod doesn't work anymore, seems I just barely missed one of the few good ai mods for the game :/ but I understand that life happens dev, don't worry too much about updating it. If worst comes to worst, other AI mods will eventually come to exist in the future. Who knows, maybe even the game devs will finally implement a proper NPC and NPC faction system.

I seem to have an issue when I save a small ship, and then every time I spawn that ship, it says "Ship destroyed" and when I find the ship later, it's just floating in space doing nothing. No damage, doesn't respond to my presence, nothing.

Sorry guys. I have no time at the moment to fix these issues. Plus I still lack a good solution, so all I could really do is patchwork anyway... I will try to get back to this as time permits.

ai l 5 = ships that wobble in circles before the mod crashes with appologies. :)

I will look into the save issue (again). I already looked into a similar report but could not replicate the problem back then.

Yes the mod works (sort of). Some (many?) ships have issues with turning properly. That problem is difficult to fix, but I am working on it as time permits.

Sadly no. I have noticed that some ships spin more than others. Perhaps a temporary solution might be to find some that work well and spawn them as "custom ships"? I am investigating the issue, but it involves some complex math crossed with programming that frankly goes a little over my head.

Hey Darkk, any progress on fixing the spinning ship problem? It's kind of awkward to see an enemy fleet approaching looking like the entire crew is drunk.

I gather from "plummet to the ground" that you are trying to use AI ships with planets? Unfortunately, this mod does not work with planets.
