UPDATE:
- Fixed bug with Miscellaneous prototypers not working.
- Added separate settings for Seafaring Prototyper, Moon Altar, Moon Rock Seed, Portable Blender, Maxwell's Codex Umbra, Perd Shrine, Pig Shrine and Warg Shrine.

Big thanks to Zaum11 for reporting the bug with the new prototypers not working!

When using this mod the following crafting stations in the game do not work (for me atleast):
- Maxwells Codex Umbra
- Think Tank

Everything else works perfectly, so I hope that Ill get to enjoy this mod again soon. :steamhappy:

@11111111111111111: Don't worry about my time, m8. This is my pet of a mod. I love this thing, and wouldn't play without it, so I'm super happy that YOU'RE spending so much time helping ME debug this thing.

I would like to send you a customized version of the code with a lot of debugging text being written to the client log, and then ask you to send me that log after you've recreated the problem. Would you be up for that? It shouldn't take much time for you (but it'll take a lot of time for me to investigate the log). But I don't mind, since right now I can't investigate it because I can't reproduce it :(

@Ultroman the Tacoman: That is really weird. My long setting is 3000 and normal is default. I don't think it matters though, because I was using 5000 in DS.

The crafting tab is not scrollable (which I thought to be scrollable at begining as well). If you set both Potter's Wheel and cartography desk to long and active them at the same time, you should see that cartography desk is blocked by Potter's Wheel. The last tab switches between Potter's Wheel, cartography desk and critter lab and if they are all active, only Potter's wheel shows up.

Thank you for investigating for so long. It seems that I'm the only one having this issue so maybe leave it as a mystery xd. I feel sorry for making you work on this for so long and it's not a big problem since none of those are used frequently.

@11111111111111111: I tried what you said, but it works fine for me. What are your Normal and Long settings?

The critter lab hasn't had its own setting implemented in the mod yet, so it adheres to the Miscellaneous setting.

How does activating the Potter's Wheel block your Pet Manual? Isn't the crafting tab list scrollable?

@Ultroman the Tacoman: It appears that after the world is generated, everything works fine if I adjust the Miscellaneous setting to normal, but if I set it to long, then everything is long.

@Ultroman the Tacoman: Got it. If you set everything to be long when you create the world, then you should regenerate this problem. By the way, I just found that the critterlab range is also long even though it is not in the mod setting manual.

@11111111111111111: DS as well? That would make sense, since it's almost the same code. I just don't get it. It's so weird that I can't recreate it. I would be VERY happy if you could find a way to consistently recreate the problem. It would be a HUGE help!

I think I set everything to be long when I created the world. Can't remember the Miscellaneous setting though.
I tried to turn off/on the mode and it didn't fix the problem.
I have some other modes turned on. But I don't think they'll affect this mod.
I will try to recreate the problem by generating a new world and I will let you know once I'm able to recreate this problem.
By the way, I just found that this problem also occurs when I use this mod in DS. It's just DS doesn't have pet system so I didn't notice it until I use this in DST.

@11111111111111111: I'm sorry, but I just can't recreate the problem. I've tried all kinds of things, including starting a new world with Potter's Wheel set to Long and Miscellaneous set to Long, creating the Potter's Wheel with real materials instead of spawning it, waiting for a clock cycle to properly save the progress, then exit, set Potter's Wheel to Short, and load the game again. No problems. It became normal range. I've tried so many things now, and the code has been properly debugged. It's all working as intended.

Can you give me the full details on how you've set up your world generation? One thing you could try, is to simply disable the mod, start the server (don't worry about the warning about turning off the mod), way for a clock cycle, exit the server, turn on the mod again, see what happens. Do you have mods concerning the Potter's Wheel?

Thank you for the information. I just tried to adjust the setting to see where the problem is and I found that all the ranges are actually following the setting of "miscellaneous", i.e., if I set miscellaneous to be normal, all prototypes are set to normal and if I set miscellaneous to be long, then all prototypes are set to long even if they are set to be normal.

@1111111111111: This is not something that's saved by the game. The code and settings are applied to a new instance of the structures every time the game starts, so it actually can't be the case xD Not calling you a liar or anything...it just means something very weird must be going on. I'll look into it.

It seems that the range cannot be adjusted once the world is created. Tried to change the Potters Wheel to normal so it doesn't block the Pet manual and it didn't work.

- Fixed that Alchemy Engine and Broken PseudoscienceStation couldn't get the Long-setting applied.

- Made mod more compatible with other mods which add content, by making the reading of the available tech types (science, magic, ancient, shadow etc.) generic, so it'll always include all available types, also customly added ones, when generating a new tech tree.

- Fixed to work with the new Mad Scientist Machine. This required a lot more work than I thought it would, since the new machine works different from the previous machines.

- Fixed a long-standing bug, which made all machines only adhere to the "Normal" setting, and never the "Long" setting. Sorry about that!

Hola! Having some problems with the new Mad Scientist Lab, trying to create potions causes insta-crash on a local server. Reported as a bug to Klei and they checked through the log, directed me to you guys :)
