Nice map! So cool the NPCs even had dialogue. Can you make the map a little lighter though? The yellow glow sticks don't seem to emit a lot of light. Maybe there's a secret flashlight somewhere, using the UV flashlight to light up the dark is a pain in the a$$, lol.
The choices are a cool concept. It brings a new idea to the modding community of Dying Light. Very nice map. Albeit hard to kill volatiles with few medkits and very little ammo lmao.

The alternative options aren't implemented in the engine and it's more like hacking the quest system.

Hello {VeTeR} I really like your map. Its design and story were pretty entertaining, I was only able to find a few minor bugs which a lot of people have already noticed. For example, grammer errors in dialog, and a volitile that is not interactable in the V2 group. It was strange, he would just stand there growling at the wall and I couldn't attack him. Other than a couple other aesthetics fixes, the map is working great. I'm actually starting up a new project myself and I was trying to figure how you scripted the decision making in the beginning. I'm very new to the language and engine and could really use your help. Thank you for your map and your time.

Adding weapons and items is not that easy for now.
Hopefully it will become easy in community tools updates and we could make our own stuff :)

Why cant over weapons,etc... be added to mods from other games? like gta 5 fallout 3 ,4 etc..does. Is becasue dying light using scri[ting and not mods

When I was working on this map adding new sounds was impossible. I am thinking about adding some mods with voice over in the future.

Perhaps try working on it some more, is it easy to add voice dialogue to characters? Why did you not ask someone who speaks native english to proof read your dialogue? Can I voice act once I've done both for you? XD

Very broken.
I'm trying to fight volatiles and the game restarts for no reason with all my new equipment intact and when i try to fight them again i'm in some kind of weird no clip mode..unplayable.

For all those who are wondering "How do i start this Mod ?" --> After u subscribed this mod, steam shoul download +-3,7mb. After that you go to your library and look for Dying Light. Right-Click it and then go to Dying Light Custom Game. Thats it ! Have Fun :=)

I know your trying to make free maps and all but, this maps is fucked! if you die it spawns you in a group of voltiles. then there's an area you go in and instantly your getting spit on with green vomit from voltiles but there's none around. Not a single zombie but i'm constantly being hit with it and die over and over. is it a bug? I sure hope so because this map looks cool but i cant progress because i die instantly because of the vomit glitch or maybe you intended to do this? if so it's a terrible move i mean you can hide dodge or even see where it's coming from you just die almost instantly. When i do die, I get spawned in the middle of 6 to 8 voltiles and die before i can move.

Invincible Tahir's guards is a bug. I'm working on fix for this, sorry m8s.

The checkpoint system needs a bit of work and Tahir's guards are invincible but it has a lot of potential.

Good work.. I don't do voice acting at all and am no good at accents.. so if you want a slightly disjointed London/Northampton (heavier on the Northampton) accent then just ask xD

If you wanna use the video as a trailer or something feel free too, also if you ever do need ANY real voice acting if they ever add it feel free to give me a ring.. er.. call... er type XD I actually do Theater and Voice acting professionally, and or if you ever have any maps that need testing I'm your man as well :D

Blue - there are no voices because its impossible to add them in editor, for now. Read the description to know how to turn on subtitles;

I have a loooong todo list for The Tunnel:
- bug fix;
- geometry will changed a little;
- usable objects will be better pointed for player (for example flashlight, rifle)
- tweaks on locations, more details and less levitating objects :) ;
- scaring the player;
- the decisions will be clearer for player by using positive (green) and negative (red) dialog choices;
- player will have more options/paths to get out of the sewers and kill volatiles;
- and THE STORY WILL CONTINUE... :)

It looked like it would be a great map but when I went to play it- there was no sound. When I tried to interact with the characters all I got was press space to skip.... am I doing something wrong?

OK. Iv'e played this first hand and i have to say 6/10. reason being is because it needs tons of improvements. 1 The spawning. if you die next to an enemy, you will respawn ( sometimes trapped and surrounded). 2. It's too easy. i know people want a semi easy experience but the beginning macheti was OP and i killed the big brute with it within 3-4 blows ( not a dirty joke bruh XD) 3. it's too bad there wasn't any voice overs. would of been atleast 8/10 for me. 4. At the end it doesn't tell you good job or that you beat the mission. it just says that all objectives complete and you can still run around ( even jump off the edge and die, respawn and run around the water). i believe this author is very good at what they do over all, just needs improvements, and making the missions longer. :joker:

Loved this map so so much! I was impressed by a couple of things... actually a lot of things! But to list what impressed me...
1. A Real story, with objectives.
2. Water rising LEVELS!!!! SO LEGIT! (the small things amaze me XD)
3. NPC's had diologue which I haven't seen in any other maps yet!
4. I couldn't kill everyone which surprised me
5. This map was hard as hell and I loved it!

I watched it. Thanks. I've noticed few things to fix while watching your gameplay :)
Sewers with volatiles are created to be stealth for start, if you do so you will have time to take the flashlight.
also Rifle is takeable, you need to get close to it and wait for dialog to end. I see that is a problem so in next update i will make rifle available same way that machete.

Looting and rewarding player for exploration is on my todo list.
You need to know that this map is not finished yet, so there are many placeholder places and some of locations and events are only on my sketches waiting to be made.
And about the volatiles - it is doable, I did it few times, and also few my collegues did it, and other players from steam did it. I made it hard because I wanted it to be a challenge that player can remember. But I know having a choice is good thing so soon there will be option to kill volatiles without fighting with them.

Yeah I really tried but I've fought them and I know they're a pain in the ass to deal with even at level 24/24/24. However, that blood splatter.. I think when you arrive at Tarid /whatever his name was/ and go back through the left tunnel, there's some blood splatter that was really out of place. Another thing I forgot to mention was the emptiness - you should add some more stuff around the map and make it worth scavenging around. Those tubes near the ceiling has a good spot for chests.

"blood splatter that isn't even sitting correctly" that's terrible, this needs to be fixed! Moki where you find this mess destroying the immersion and atmosphere of the quest?
In the new update you will have other option to kill volatiles, if you can't do it with shotgun. Stay tooned.
