I love this work on the textures; it's really beautifull.
I'm in the same case than Bullfrog : the second part was more difficult because of that tricky move he discribed.
I also agree with Asd417 and Kiserian; in the sense of you don't need to include "tries and luck moves" in your maps, they are good enough without...
Also nice electric piano music, congrats!
One more thumb up! :)
10/10, don't see any con, if there is, please tell me.
First part took me some time, second part was much easier IMHO. What makes the first part difficult is that there are two ways to get the cube up to the upper area and only one part works for the solution. Quite enjoyable overall, perfectly designed and with a nice soundtrack, thank you!
Keep up the good work
Seems everything made it in: soundscapes, visuals. Only the first music is missing (dang embed tools, eh? :P). Then again, I see the filesize is pushed to the limit. Oh well...
Cheers!
Btw, I'm finishing the custom soundscapes, and the new version of the map will be ready to go later today, hopefully fixing all discussed bugs.
It is behind the nick name of Josepezdj but we have an incredible photographic evidence:

Esteemed Albert is a great pleasure to have you still with us and appreciate his work for science. Many Thanks and Satisfactions !
For the record, the light strips appearing in Aperture Valentine was 100% not your fault. I'm sure by now you've figured that out though. Just a simple glance at the screenshots and the "Updated" date reminded me of that. Still weird though (and yet the color scheme seemed so convincing for a moment...) :P
Before I forget...
Don't worry! I thought it was I who had deleted my own review so I re posted ^^ I imagine in fact that you have many creation; in fact I was mostly interested in your customs models (whatever they are) because I don't know how to create them myself ! (It should stand on my disk :D)
No problem! I'm working on a map with hammer, I tell you if there is a worry :)
I have some custom textures, i can to send you if you want !
Ps: I created new instances that could interest people, but I can not register on TWP for sharing them! If you knew how to fix it .. Thanks again for your attention and continue !!)
As for the placement helper exploit, clipping isn't why i could get a portal on the surface from the other side of the glass, and actually the only reason i thought of it was cause i had a similar issue in a map of my own. There was an emancipation grill over a portal surface, and if you shot the models a portal got pulled behind the thing, ehich should be impossible, but i figured out that it was probably the placement helper doing it. So what i did (because in that case i needed it to be 96 units) was i had the helper start disabled and enable when the feild went down, and that fixed the problem. It's not something most ppl think about, and its also not something many ppl encounter, but its definitely something to keep an eye out for. Cheers
I will send some of Empire content to you as I told you, however, please don't ask me to send everything I've made so far! :D LOL, you'll need MUCH disk space to keep it! :p Anyways, feel free to let me know if I can help you on something custom that you need specifically for a given map fior example, ok? Cheers!
Thanks for pointing out that bug with the angled panel, it's a Valve's instance, and that's what annoyes me the most! Will make my own because everyone has complained about it! And thanks for the rest of nice comments and super nice score!! :D <3
@Octane Twisted: YES!! I'm so happy that you eventually finished it and liked afterall. :D I think challenging puzzles simply needs more time than the others to be solved and maybe some hint here and there... ... not much more! Thanks for your comments!
@phyneas: sorry for not posting the official solution video yet... I was deakling with Greys' DoubleYou impressively solid new puzzle! Nice that TS_Mind_Swept posted his! Thanks by the way, man! I will post mine along this week after I update the map
@| \_/ (): YAY! Awesome that you finished it! :D FYI, I have yet to play like 2-3 maps by you I have in my queue, mate, sorry but I've been truly busy lately... well, more usually than lately ... Will play them within this week and the next one! Eager to play that "WallButtons (advanced)" ;)
About that grate, no, it's not that (it is a stock grate texture btw :P), it's just that it looks like that, but in fact it is a short separation between the portalable surface behind the grates. Easy fix, don't worry. Regarding the bridge not trepassing the first chamber's grate, it's just that I never thought it would be important, but if it feels unnatural due the rest grates' behavior in the map, I'll change it ;)
And no red herrings intended, only some white panels to avoid trapping.
Muchas gracias por reconocerme un buen trabajo, amigo ;) Me alegro de que finalmente resolvieras ambas cámaras y en general te gustasen! :D
The lightcovers aren't the same as in Aperture Valentine. I always start from zero when creating those ;) I always try them to fit with the rest of the custom theme, and in this case they might be quite similar will have to replay Aperture Valentine or check my records to compare them because I can't really remember them :p
LOL, third person (if I counted up correctly) saying the same about the 2 puzzles difficulty :D How difficult it is to decide for me about these things... sorry :S
@TS_Mind_Swept & Ace Ryder: Thanks so much for playing, guys! <3 And thank you so much for such an awesomely detailed feedback! Much appreciate it! :D I well noted about that placement helper being too wide, will check out and diminish it, if that's the real cuase, although I might add some clipping brushes or whatever to make sure you can't open a portal from such a distance. About music, forget about that, it's no my fault, it's how buggy soundscripts seem to behave... I will use soundscapes instead, as I already mentioned... or will play .WAVs directly...
I have to say this is the hardest map I've every played, thank you for sharing it with us, I had great fun.
Not sure I like the method to get to upper area.
I also spotted another bug, but it's just another panel glitch which doesn't matter. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=456987988
10 minutes after beating the first test I was done with the second one. Of course it's easier! I totally share quatrus' opinion. I wasn't sure if the part which jgaultney's video shows is intended, but I you wrote that it is so I'm happy that I could think of that mechanic.
Awesomeness level over 9000!!!...Or 8000 because of being able to get stuck.
Needless to say, I was never detracted from the solution by any of them.
Muy buen trabajo amigo, como siempre
My only comment on the chamber so far: no soundscape in the main room so I added one. You had a couple in Aftermath, which I actually really liked, and besides, they don't generally interfere with the music (in case that concerns you).
Other than that, the usual applies: pretty theme and I have yet to finish the puzzle (it's gonna be good though; I can tell...).
