I don't really support vanilla BFE at the moment and am supporting Fusion. With that said, I know people like Shockwave have said that there are still many mods for vanilla BFE that are not in Fusion right now,

Regardless, for your mod, you can actually make it really easily by going into the editor and just opening up the .EP file for the Assault Rifle. There'll be a range of values you'll be able to change. Look at what values I've changed above and then change those values to your liking.

Hi Artificial i dont know if i should post a request here but, could you make a mod for the assault rifle to have 36 damage and 20 shots in the magazine with a reload time of 1.0 and a tad of recoil to mimick a FAL.

You're welcome! This mod is also available and updated in Fusion 2017. Not sure why so many people are still playing the old ass version of BFE.

Ok, it's been a while, but just looking at these changes here, the Devastator got nerfed the way it did because it was overriding the Rocket Launcher role and the Single Shotgun role AND some of the Sniper as well. In 3.0, it was rebalanced to have a role of its own. Basically a faster weaker Rocket Launcher, focusing on very quick hits and a constant stream of explosive damage, as opposed to the Rocket Launcher's much slower and much nastier burst damage it delivers with every single rocket.

in general all of them are a bit :) , even in 2.0 version when i played they feeled stronger but in a reasonable limit - that 's just me saying, but in your 3.0 version which is the only one for fusion devastator is nerfed , right ? that s why i was wondering if u could port 2.0 version to fusion

if you ever have time , can u port this mod to fusion please? :) , i know u have version 3.0 , but i think it s a bit overpowered AND has the devastattor damage nerfed , that is 1 of my fav weapon after minigun,

I finally have BFE installed back on my computer so I will start working on mods again. Plan to renovate this mod for a 3.0 with new sounds, a few rebalances, and maybe a little more. We'll see about that "little more".

@Bossun: As I said on my last mod page, I can only do that globally unfortunately. And I would have to edit the GlobalGameParameters.rsc file which I don't like to do because it might interfere with other mods.

Nevertheless, it can be done. Perhaps I might make a seperate mod for it.

can you increase the max ammo capacity to 50% please? because a 100 ammo for shotgun or 500 for minigun is way too low

@SAKASA: Indeed! You'll find that now, every weapon can easily stand on its own for the most part but they all still fulfill each of their respective roles nicely.

Oh yeah, I totally agree, It's just I've had better luck with the shotgun, devestator or pistol in areas I thought I would've used the RL for.

I'll see what I can do! However, you don't want to make the RL too powerful! Each weapon needs to serve a role.

*Shrug* I think it'd be neat to have, what with the need for good damage to moving targets, but yeah, I'd personally bring its damage and splash up, as well as velocity, but that's me. Right now I feel like I'm shooting the classic arcade firecracker for effect kinda thing.

Yes they are! And I actually later did buff the rocket speed and found it to be an enormous improvement but... I don't know if I really want to push anymore changes. People may start to be getting impatient with all this stuff I'm adding in all the time.

This is the exact kind of mod I'd make...only I'd spend months researching the weapon's IRL counterparts and setting the ingame stats to that. Thanks for beating me to this.

One question though; are projectile velocities modable? If so, would you consider buffing the rockets speed to say ~800 meters per second? :3

CRAP!! Screwed it up again!!! I forgot to include the projectile config files as well which includes anything that shoots a visibile projectile such as rockets or laser bolts. >_< Uploading the needed files now...

No prob! Sorry for screwing up the last weapon enhancement pack... >_> The nice thing is, this pack can also be used for any of the upper difficulties too because the enemy health multiplier stays at x1 for Normal and up.
