Hello all, I've just put my mods back to visible status even though I have no immediate plans to update them. As for why I have no plans to, I do not have the will power to do it and a big part of that is Paradox's continuous updates. The other being the tedious and time consuming nature of updating each patch and Paradox's retreading of old paths by updating the same UI elements nearly every update; some small, some big and some invisible to the end user but all of it annoyingly stupid for me. I'm not saying I will never update the mods but as Paradox continues to update the game and changing the UI, I feel less compelled to want to update. I do apologize to those who want an update but at this current time I cannot give you a certainty of an update in the near future. I decided to make the mods visible again so those who play on 1.19 and lower the ability to interchange between those updates with these mods.

Perhaps set up some kind of a team? Ask folks to help and make it community project :)

Anyhow, good job man!

No, I have no plan to make any other colors because frankly I, too, don't really have the time for it, nevermind the patience it would require.

I understand exactly where Dasungesagte is coming from because it's very tedious and time consuming to update these mods. Especially if you have very little time for yourself to enjoy, it will cut into it in a big way. And make no mistake there is nothing fun at all about updating these mods. I already know this newest update can and probably will eat up my entire day off too.

As long as it takes. Also you are not inspired by adding some other colours since other mod is not supported anymore?

Red/Yellow would be really cool man :)

It's a busy work week for me so you'll have to bear with me here as it will take some time for me to get the update done. Ideally I'd like to get it updated by Thursday but it's very possible it might not get done till April 16th.

Update?
Zomgerd  [author] 8 Feb, 2017 @ 5:22pm
Compatibility Patches are up to date and from what I can tell Better UI did not need to be updated on my end, I also added Bigger UI to the list but it's basically the updated and maintained Bigger View+++ mods that also didn't seem to need updating.
Zomgerd  [author] 7 Feb, 2017 @ 6:45pm
Mod updated, however, compatibility patches have not been, should expect those on thursday.
Zomgerd  [author] 3 Feb, 2017 @ 8:13pm
I'd like to take the time to say I'm officially in the process of updating my UI mods to 1.19; I'm aiming to have them updated by Thursday February 9th but this is subject to change which will be reflected in the updates post under ETA should it be necessary. Another necessity I will need to attend to is the finishing of moving the compatibility patch links to google docs like I had intended to a long time ago as I've hit the character limit on the mod page. And one last thing, I'm not guaranteeing I will have compatibility patches updated to go along with the update to the mods but I will try my best to get them done soon after if not the same day.

update?
Ld Egemony 17 Nov, 2016 @ 2:48am

As I said in the description I'm aware 1.16 dropped and I do plan to update my UI mods but it's more than likely to be updated next week.
Chricri3112 9 Apr, 2016 @ 12:38am
When will we get an update? I love this mod :)
Zomgerd  [author] 25 Feb, 2016 @ 12:17am
Compatibility patches update: I will be updating the compatibility patches within the next two days. The big one would be Better UI as I haven't looked at all at any of the changes made to it in 1.15. The Bigger views++ will be updated the quickest as they really only need elements taken out which are no longer needed or just a simple copy pasta over some slightly altered parts.

Ok,fix up and bring your juicy mods, best UI Color mods.
Zomgerd  [author] 6 Feb, 2016 @ 11:51am
A whole three days since but I never got the chance to work on the mods as I became sick on Monday and spent most of Wednesday in bed. By the way, I said "shooting for" and "plan on" I never they would be updated on Wednesday, it was just a good possibility if I nothing go in the way which obviously something did. Luckily I have shifts coming up where I don't go in till way late in the day so I'll have time before work to do some work on the mods.
eldarlrd 6 Feb, 2016 @ 8:32am
Update it,man. You said "wednesday" but it's long since wednesday.

I've posted a update in the description under the "Updated to 1.14.x" about updating the mods to 1.15. If you're wondering why I haven't updated my mods yet, you'll find your answers there and when I plan to update them.

Just giving a quick update; I'm trying to figure out why the buttons in unit tech selection buttons in the millitary view are the default blue rather than my changed buttons. I don't recall this being an issue in patch 1.13, 1.12 or 1.11. Feels like yet another goof on Paradox's problem as there are no other buttons like it that need to be changed nor were there any added.
Zomgerd  [author] 14 Dec, 2015 @ 1:03pm
Compatibility Patches add for Bigger Diplomacy View++, Bigger MarcoBuilder++ and Bigger Peace View++.
Zomgerd  [author] 10 Dec, 2015 @ 11:29am
Quick note for current users and new users; If you are running into the disappearing backgrounds of the interface or the interface is getting so screwed up that you can't click anything or both, this is NOT, I repeat, NOT the fault of the UI mod. Paradox really really screwed up with 1.14's (currently at 1.14.3) release and they have yet to correct these issues. The only solution to this problem at this time is to restart the game.
Andrew97 9 Dec, 2015 @ 9:40am
thanks

Mod Updated (Check changelog for what's changed)

@TheAndrew1987 Hopefully this update resolves your issues. I tested the mod myself and didn't have issues with any other portion of the UI but that could just be me.
Andrew97 12 Sep, 2015 @ 9:01am
cool thanks, anything that would make it more noticable would fix the issue
Zomgerd  [author] 11 Sep, 2015 @ 11:36pm
Ah okay, I'll test out a couple things over the weekend.
Andrew97 11 Sep, 2015 @ 10:57pm

Zomgerd  [author] 11 Sep, 2015 @ 7:43pm

Here's a direct download:
{LINK REMOVED}

Just extract it to the mod folder in Documents/Paradox Interactive/Europa Universalis 4
t.tamas 13 Jun, 2015 @ 11:24am
so what to do ?
Zomgerd  [author] 13 Jun, 2015 @ 11:23am
Maybe the workshop is not working correctly out at the moment because I had this happen to me when I tried updating and re-downloading MapModeButtons. It seem the workshop is not updating or downloading the mod even though it's showing in the mod selection screen.
t.tamas 13 Jun, 2015 @ 11:21am
yes its grey :(
Zomgerd  [author] 13 Jun, 2015 @ 11:16am
Having a little trouble understanding you, are you saying that it's grey'd out in the mod selection screen?
t.tamas 13 Jun, 2015 @ 11:11am
guys i have a little problem with it ,i cant use the mods there i need to choose which mods i want tzo play with it alwas grey and i cant use it :( so what can i do ?
Zomgerd  [author] 12 Jun, 2015 @ 5:38pm
Also it's the mod folder in Documents.
Zomgerd  [author] 12 Jun, 2015 @ 5:36pm
Compatibility patches are installed directly into the zip archives of the mods themselves

So for instance Better UI, you open up the betterui2.0.zip (which will be in the mod folder) with winrar (least this is what I used) and navigate to gfx>interface inside the archive. Once there drag all the contents of the compatibility patch (excluding the readme) into the open archive and it should give you a prompt to add and replace at which point you just hit okay and you should be good to go.

If you're using a direct download version of Better UI the process is slightly easier as it doesn't require winrar (or whatever archiver you'd use) and basically all the same steps except it's a folder and not zip archive.

I'd really like to make this process faster but I do not have permission to repost a whole mod. for compatibility.

@Zomgerd, I have confusion on how to install the combatibility patches, which directory do I install it in? The main EU4 folder, or the mod folder in the documents tab. (I am running windows 7)

Updated to 1.12, enjoy!
Zomgerd  [author] 12 Jun, 2015 @ 12:35pm
@Mc Once this is updated, yes it will be compatible with the new DLC. I'm in the middle of grabing new screenhots to update the cover image at the moment.
Petri Schale 12 Jun, 2015 @ 2:18am
does it work with the new dlc?
