Hi Will,

I downloaded it and with lots of Y-tube help I still failed. I have no coding in my back round never done anything like this ( Sad Face)
Will  [author] 13 Sep, 2020 @ 8:01am
If you download Pack file manager its very easy to do it yourself. Just double the men number and horses number.
Von Steel 11 Sep, 2020 @ 7:55pm
Half size generals why, why did they do that. Will, thank for this great mod, I loved it as if fixed a What the Hell problem in the game. You also did it right by not changing any stats just the head count ... Would it help if I begged or Pleaded maybe washed your car? :)

This is a great mod, I do not know how to code but this one seems pretty easy. Anyone know someone who could update this or make a new mod for this?
Brezonte 13 Feb, 2020 @ 9:49am

✪ Snake ✪ 4 Dec, 2017 @ 8:50am
same problem i got 40 units and dint work .... i have restart a new game and still got 40 hourses
Augustus666 17 Nov, 2017 @ 12:12pm
In save games you have to replace general, before you get 80 men.
Super Mean Agent 25 Jun, 2017 @ 5:09am
Not working.. i have 40 still..
DmitriyAgra 8 Jun, 2017 @ 8:32am
Works with "normal unit size" in game settings (40 men vs 20 in vanilla), but doesn't work with maximum (still 40 men in general's unit, not 80).
Doomed World 18 Jan, 2017 @ 8:26pm

Will  [author] 12 Aug, 2016 @ 3:12am
I dont want to mess with the stats, this mod purely increases their size. You can edit the stats very easily with PFM, Pack File manager
Akincibegi 12 Aug, 2016 @ 2:59am
oh ll try again
btw can u increase these general units melee attack stats to at least 30-35 they r way too weak vs other generals even though being elite of elite?
Will  [author] 12 Aug, 2016 @ 2:44am
Should be just updated it
Akincibegi 11 Aug, 2016 @ 6:11am
s this up to date?doesnt work for me even with only this mod active:S
The Dictator 11 Mar, 2016 @ 5:14am
didn't do it for me when i was playing as libya that use carthage generals.
Will  [author] 11 Mar, 2016 @ 2:51am
it does that
The Dictator 10 Mar, 2016 @ 8:40pm
Can you do the same for the carthage calvery general unit that gives 40 units and make them to 80 units like this mod does?
Lucius Cornelius Barbatus 1 Aug, 2015 @ 1:36am
Thanks! That explains it a bit better. I tried adding an override pack (?) to the main pack. Thanks. Will try it out.
Will  [author] 1 Aug, 2015 @ 1:33am
Well rather than editting the official main_units, which is a bad idea as any update will overwrite your work, open a new file in PFM, then go to the top Files > Add > From Pack, then you can go to Data_Rome2, and import main units, and edit it all you like. Add a prefix again to it so that it does not conflict with the official main units. There are tons of guides under the workshop section for Rome 2 on Total War center.
Lucius Cornelius Barbatus 1 Aug, 2015 @ 1:04am
IS there a better description as to how that works? I can open main_units in the pack manager, but I can't add -as the option is greyed out- or edit any of the fields. Is there a guide I can use?
Will  [author] 25 Jul, 2015 @ 1:56am
I don't see much demand for that mod so it wouldn't really be worth doing it. It is very easy to do yourself though. download pack file manager here. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?680538-PFM-3-5-1-Attila-support
Open the program, then go to files, add, and go to data_rome2, go to the db table and then to the main_units tables, and double click it to import it. This table controls the number of men, you can change this number and save the file. Just add a prefix to the table name like mod_main_units. That's it.
Mr_Hig 25 Jul, 2015 @ 1:43am
Can you do a mod that increases the size of all units to 160? I mean for example 160 horse skirmishers, 160 horse archers, 160 peltasts, 160 archers as with 160 melee infantry, etc.
Landstander 21 Jul, 2015 @ 8:49am
not much
Landstander 21 Jul, 2015 @ 8:49am
i belive they had about ten guards in the general unit
Will  [author] 17 Jun, 2015 @ 11:26am
I would too if it didn't fry my pc.
Jesus Loves You^_^ 17 Jun, 2015 @ 2:56am
For that reason I use x2 or x3 mod, to have 480 men in a unit. That is accurate.
Will  [author] 15 Jun, 2015 @ 3:26pm
Well unit size is never historical in this game, armies didn't go into battle with units of 160 men generally.
Jesus Loves You^_^ 15 Jun, 2015 @ 2:50am
Gonna search about this topic.....I think logically you're right, but historically generals/commanders had fewer men in bodyguard
Will  [author] 14 Jun, 2015 @ 3:54am
Not sure, it's more about balance. A general could probably have as many men as he wanted in his bodyguard.
Jesus Loves You^_^ 14 Jun, 2015 @ 3:20am
I think it's historical correct too, isn't it ?
