I'm not sure if it ever was, but Don't Starve Together surely obviously is way different than Don't Starve now. Also it's really not cool to not give a specified time for how long you have to wait to not lose your entire inventory (when you're not a "new player") anymore upon leaving.

You can try editing modmain.lua of this mod, though I have not tried if that updates starting items for people joining or only for the server.

Yeah, I've done that, but I can only disable specific groups of items, not individual ones. For instance, I like having seasonal items, but don't want people to start with a winter hat during winter, and I like starting with materials, but I don't want people to start with gold or meat.

You can change modoverrides.lua in your mod folder. See the modoverrides.lua from this mod for what settings are available.

Anyone have any idea how I could change what items are started with on my dedicated server? I like the concept a lot, but certain things are a bit much for me, primarily the winter hat, gold, and meat.

@icke Sorry it's not a true crash, the server just hangs and then boots every connected player off. I don't get an error screen at all.

The crash does not appear in the logs and as far as I can see 'Increase stack size' and 'increase storage' do not conflict with this mod. If you can provide the logs from right after the crash occurs I may be able to solve this, but otherwise I cannot help you.

@icke I have quite a few other mods installed but the only one interacts with Hutch seems to be "Increase stack size", "increase storage". Log here:

@adjetant Avocado I am unable to replicate the issue. Are there any other mods installed with similar functionality? Can you post the crash logs?(MyDocuments\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\log.txt)

Ondine, I found a server with this mod, that's how I found out about the mod, it's called SNiRG #5 and has Enless modded Public at the end of the name.

@Eoin Lynne: The incompatibility with RW is due having a file with the same name. I didn't check NR, but it is unlikely to suffer from the same problem. Also if you turn of the health balance for the dragonfly in my mod it should be fully compatible with AHA.

Is this compatible with Natural Respawn and Automatic Health Adjust? I read that it's not compatable with Renewable World and NR makes everything renewable so is it just RW or is it incompatable with all mods that handle resource renewing? Also I like using AHA as it makes bosses AND normal mobs harder or easier based on the number of players in the server rather than a fixed rate rather than just fixing 1 or 2 mobs healths...

@히히: You can change the amount of chesters to 1 to mostly disable it. Other then that I think it is caused by another mod.

@Alex: In Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Don't Starve Together\mods\workshop-463718554 you can edit the file modmain.lua (with notepad or something). Simply remove the lines that add meat (should be easy to find). However I am not sure if this only changes it for you or that it changes it for everyone. (Or that different versions of the same mod cause the game to crash.) You can test if that solves the issue, but otherwise you may need to turn off starting items completely.

Hey mate, how might some one with no coding knowledge change the mod to not give meat? I prefer wilderness mode my self and people spawning with upwards of 8 meat every time they die really devalues food. I'd like to go 2 meat reguardless of season or perhapse none.

I figured it out its a mod called Arca Ambulatilis, a mod where it adds more forms of chesters but it was locking the chester every time the eyebone summoned him

Haven't played this game in a while, so I'm not sure exactly what the new beta brings or changes. I suspect that the mod will either crash immediately when starting or work fine, except for not respawning any new items/structures/creatures, so it is a quick test if you want to know. But I will have to test it properly to be sure, which will likely be when it goes out of beta due to the continuous changes.

The map reveal doesn't work in worlds with cave, it makes me question if there's something else that it's not working, i couldn't find more than 1 chester also, please fix it :(

*40 and I still do lose health from it. When I have the mod, it still says six max. =/

@Texas Ranger: The revive penalty stays, but you no longer lose 20 health when crafting it. Also you can increase the max players when you create the server, without this mod you can't increase it.

For some reason, i still have the revive penalty when making a telltale heart, and it still says 6 players max when i look at the server settings.

Is it lag based movement issues? Are they rubber banding and snapping back to where they started, or moving long after they've stopped pressing buttons? I had that issue in the past with map related mods lagging my game when I joined a friend's server. (Minimap and additional map markers) Could potentially be lag from resources over spawning as well.

for some strange reason, my friend is having trouble with movement upon spawning. What exactly is going on, and how do i disable it?
