All kinds of warnings about bugs. Worked until turn 8 (for me). I will try it again. Double is good idea - as Roman garrisons are quite weak at the beginning of the game.

Hello creator. If you ever had the time, would you consider an MK 1212 less archer/skirmisher, both foot and cavalry variants, more infantry based garrison mod for both city garrison and garrison unit buildings? Like a 1.5 bigger garrison.

Can you nerf the navy garrison? They are very bad in deffensive battles.
The ports give to much garrison and take the slots for good units

i tested it and it works as inteded though it seems the white huns are getting glassed early on or so. looking in the workshop to see if anyone has done something with the hordes themselves or something especally when they have to go up against double garason sizes. and in the eastern cultures. the arminian spear spam is real. :( someone find a way to nerf that spear spam. :( how many armenians are there to garason all of the persian settlements and then some.

Based on my analysis, you roughly tripled the size of the garrisons in the pack file but only about half of them appear in the game. Can you explain where all the missing troops went? For example, I see 4 limitanei for a WRE major city 2, but only 2 show up in the game;6 cohors but only 3 show in the game; 6 sagiatrii but only 3 appear in my garrison.
@Maximus: You make that comment everywhere. It is obvious that most modders, including myself and this modder, believe that the game needs larger garrisons. Small garrisons are level 1 modding so try it yourself.

Hi, I have an idea:
-Garrison only in the capital of the province.
-no garrison in minor cities, unless they have guardhouse or level 3.
Is there a mod that does this?

It works just fine. It takes several turns for garrisons to build up the double forces. In your first few turns, you may not have a full garrison. That's an issue with Attila. Modders cannot do anything about that issue.

@Deus Sol Invictus (Dillion) That's the game not the mod; whenever I start a new game the only place that has a garrison is my starting settlement and I think that's something to do with population but I won't dare assume the game is that intelligent.

i think it breaks the garrisons when you build the quarters the extra units dont get added to the garrison, probably cause there are more than 20 units in there.

I can loose some good units from random garrison. Also, the game doesn't use 20/20 units in garrison.

I've used this Mod for 17 Months now and may have to stop using it - i notice it makes Rome virturally unbeatable in my playthroughs - even the smallest Town has like 6-8 units but the AI Rome costantly upgrades and makes all the cities and towns tier 2 to 3 in the first year so as the Eastern Romans im sitting waiting for Rome to crumble and dissovle so i can march in and purge the barbarian kingdoms - but the AI cant stop Rome as it cant beat the Roman AI garrisons that are massed reproduced so it flings it armies at Towns costantly to only die out by the time the Romans counterattack - i've have the WRE full on invade Germany up to the Danish and nordic lands and it forces me to declare war on them as no one can stand against them.
