Try control + F5, it clears cache/cookies for the page, maybe it'll fix it.

Huh. Yeah, doesn't sound worth it.I've made designs that had the landing gear on pistons, but they tended to ... I'm not sure what word to use. Wiggle? Wobble? Flop around like a bobblehead? Gyrate like a flamingo with one toe glued to the top of a tree in a hurricane? All of the above, depending on circumstances.

Of course, part of the problem with my landing-gear-on-pistons designs was that they were all small ships, using that landing gear to hang onto my mothership. It's entirely possible that if I build landing gear with pistons onto the mothership itself, which tends to land on things that don't suddenly accelerate or turn underneath it (like planets), it may be more stable. Buuut, I understand that pistons are being phased out. =x

I wonder what the heck Keen is going to do next?

I imagine an upgrade to this mod would be just updating the code to use the most recent iteration by the developers. I have a programmer working with me now, so maybe we could look into making some cool landing gear. I'm not sure what is available to us, but I know retractable landing gear and SE don't get along. There's been a few iterations of them.

True retractable landing gear are dangerous physics wise. Since you have individual parts moving so close together. Clang strikes often with these.

The other type are animation only landing gear, but the downside is that the physics doesn't move with the landing gear. You either have landing gear phasing through objects or the physics block permanently extends to where the landing gear would be in the extended position, even if it's not visually extended.

I suppose it's possible it wasn't the mod that wrecked the toolbars. It's just that I got up out of the flight chair to build the landing gear, and when I sat down again they were gone. I guess I could've pushed the wrong button, but then, I've never had that happen before.

The landing "skids" seemed normal enough, I suppose the fact that I couldn't get the regular landing gear to work could simply be that I misunderstood how the mod worked? I just built one, went into the control panel, looked at the menus. (shrug) I dunno.

If animated (retractable) landing gear is such a nightmare, then it probably isn't worth doing, especially with everything else you've already got going on. I retract my request.

I'm still thinking about the discord thing. I'm still kind of leery of it, but Norton's been catching a lot of crap that I'd have had to deal with, so I may give it a try. We've discussed it before, though you likely don't remember.

I have a hard time believing this mod did anything like that since this mod has no extra scripts attached to it. If it did that, then it must've been something the devs did. I can try updating it, but I have to make new models since I've lost all of the source files. I won't do animated landing gear for the sake of safety. I've helped too many modders try to debug animated landing gear to really want to try it. I can't offer an ETA though. You can join my Discord if you'd like to keep up to date.

This is desperately in need of an update. The landing gear don't visually attach to the ship; they just float there. I don't see how they could be retractable, nor any way to extend/retract them. And to top it all off, using this mod completely deleted all my toolbar settings. I thought I was in build mode, but no, every button has just been wiped blank. I have to rebuild them from scratch, and hope to God I remember what systems my ship actually even *has*.

The small-grid skid block (middle section) seems to have an issue with the build-state model, where the frame is the size of a large block...

Saw you meantioned the ' Maglock ' mod in the vid. Well it breaking and not working has a short story about that. There are actually 2 versions of it and it's the newer second version that broke...the first version still works. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=343014073 Could use build state model update, but all else works fine.

It was on the stable branch and when I opened the world with about 8 of your mods the only Ines that could be found in the tab were this and the military one, the rest just weren't there, I'll try reloading them like you suggested on the other page but just so you know it was on stable

UPDATE: October 28, 2016

WARNING: Sometimes mods corrupt when updating. Locate the 9digit number in the URL that corresponds to a 9digit.sbm file in the AppData/Roaming/SpaceEngineers/Mods folder. Delete that SBM file and it will force a redownload.

Finally! It took a while for me to get the update out since I got home from Florida but, all is well! My cousin's brain surgery went fantastically and he's returned to work. It's lovely to be back in Washington and have everything back that I missed. IE: My computer, bed, and amazing well water. :P

Thank you everyone for your wishes and being patient during that difficult time.

-This update brings everything to the current Stable SE version.
-Steam thrusters were quieted and white box shouldn't appear.
-Glass should be fixed.
-Many texture fixes to be in line with the new renderer.

That too. I already have a 1x1 landing skid and pad but, they won't fit down a 1x1 hole. It'll be a while before I can mess with the idea but, I'll try to keep it in mind. I'm still in a different state.

OR, a landing skid with a slightly smaller collision box to place at the end of a piston! that could work.

Can't quite make any. The best I could do is make a piston that can slide down a 1x1 hole (or whatever) and then you attach a wheel to it. You 'could' use the vertical wheels I have presently available, then raise and lower them. They have quite a bit of travel.

@woostyboy, theoretically, yes. It might look a little weird, but it should technically work.
