So, a few issues on an otherwise awesome mod idea.

Blocks cant be bigger than 5 blocks in all directions (such as the 25x25x25 reactor), increase the speed of the assemblers (and maybe refineries), and add access ports to the conveyer port spots (so you can access the slyke storage by clicking on the conveyer port), and you have a winning mod in my book.

I mean, its already really good. And i LOVE the boxy shape of everything!

Hello, this is a very cool mod. But what I like most about it are containers. Is it possible to separate them from the rest of the packaging?

lol yea blocks still look great 👍 I love this mod one of my all time favs n super underrated along with the block optimizer mod you can build Huge ships and station and have great performance so thanks for maintaining this one

It's mostly the functional stuff that would break - make sure the reactors are running, the assemblers work, etc. Ingreds tend to be stable.
Oh, and I'm like 95% sure one of the textures is broken but nobody notices because it still looks good.

It does I use it for a lot of Star Wars ships but I haven’t filled check to make sure it’s all good on survival

@Fred the Destroyer Would you mind uploading a version with the fixed assemblers? Just going into it and adding what Tribute said " <AssemblySpeed>8</AssemblySpeed> " for the regular slyassemblers and then the same but with 40 instead of 8 for the Tall SlyAssemblers. I'm trying to get it to work myself, but I don't know how to make it work and keep it that way for an online game with a few friends. I saw the easiest way would be for it to be reuploaded with the fixes.

assembler has no recipes at all, thus the block is useless. no idea what else is broken.....really wish this mod portal workshop would do a better job of displaying working mods. hasn't even been that long since last update. some mods from 2015 still work. at this point you're pretty much just rolling the dice for a working mod xD

I fixed it by adding <AssemblySpeed>40</AssemblySpeed> for the tall assembler and 8 for the normal large assembler (default value is 1). This seemed like the values you were going with as the normal large refinery was 8 times faster and the tall was 40 times faster. I didn't tweak any power requirements because of laziness.

Seems the Assemblers are incomplete. They are the same speed as the default assembler but being the usual several times larger, power requiring and expensive.

That's a problem with the mod updating, caused by a corrupt download. Unless you back up your worlds, No, nothing to be done.

hey Sly, i've had all the modules from this mod dissappear from my server, not sure which patch it was (been down a while) any ideas how to roll back to what it was? There was an awful lot of stuff in those containers

Hey can you make something similar to this but rather than making new blocks with custom components and sizes you make it a replacer with default output, components and size.

Yeah, the Icon is still using DX9 textures.

While we're discussing the components added by this mod, I've had a non-critical issue with them not having a visble icon when they're in inventory or when I'm selecting them in the assembler's production tab. I can click on the box where the icon for these components should be just fine, and the assembler will build the components without issue.
The bug doesn't really impact gameplay beyond not being able to tell what the components are without mousing over them.
Here's the debug error that goes along with this bug:

Can you make a custom G-menu category for these blocks? Sure, I can find all the blocks from this mod by typing "sly" in the G-menu search bar, but that's still not as easy as most other mods that add blocks out there.
To be honest, that's one of the few reasons I can come up with for not using these blocks more than I already do. The 25x25x25 cube storage makes a great storage solution for a stationary base.

In my experience, if you need more thruster power in the same size as stock, you should look at one of the "tiered thruster" mods. There are both armored and standard variants of all 3 types of thruster (ion, atmospheric, hydrogen), and the top tier is 16x the power of a vanilla thruster of the same size. That should cover most cases where you need more thrust for the same size.

Great mod for capital ships.

Was working on an automated component assembly system and noticed that I can't pick the Sly125xPlate. The other Sly components show up even though the icons are empty I can still que them to build and I can spawn in the plates but I don't have the choice to assemble the Sly125xPlate's. For all I know this might be a conflict with another mod I have loaded though.

Visuals really aren't the point o htis mod. the blocks are generall meant to be in the interior of your ship or station generating power or doing other work.

Unfortunately the general pholosophy of this mod is to perfectly maintain vanilla balance, and as there is no vanilla block for me to scale that off of, It'll likely not be included. I should get to batteries and warp drives someday, though.

Fred : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercapacitor basicly its a 100 times more effiecient then a capacitor normaly capacitors are low storage high output where as battery is high storage low output. But super capacitors are actualy better then batteries of similar size both storage and output. They are usually used on curcuit boards etc.Another thing to add to this would be jump drives in those sizes the biggest size able to handle alot of weight and long distance. Just so people can have consistancy with their big builds.

As previously stated, if someone makes dx9 textures and tells me what to set the diffuse color(or whatever that value was) to, I can include those. Otherwise, I do not expect DX9 textures to be available.

I know that they still all work in dx9 but is there anyway these could be made to work in DX9 as well? i ask because i am building a capital ship (obviosuly) and other mods i am using work only in DX9 Awesome mod btw

Jump Drives and batteries are more complicated on the texturing front. I'll look into it, but nothing may come of it.
