waaaa so CA was going to add intruments in the armies. sahme it never got in. i loved taht in roma surrectum II. and in attilla they didnt even try to add em. :(

That unfortunately seems to be hard coded. Though what I could do is remove the standard bearers and replace them with the musicians. Since a third unit battle personality will always be buggy.

You have musician in roman units? I noticed the one in plebs in my collection of mods. Perhaps from your mod, I don't know and also don't know how to extract the one for orther units. If it is simple action can you explain me how and as for Greek fire raisers: could you add them destroying animation.

@Piero The mod's intent is to complete the vanilla experience. It does not want to introduce something very new or very different. There are people who do not want to modify their game too much due to several reasons. This mod adds units and other features which were once part of the plan for the vanilla version. It therefore does not break the style of the vanilla game, not graphically, nor gameplay wise and thereby allows a matching complete experience.

Hi! IS there anyone who is willing to try this and create this. A truly realistic Garrison. A Roman garrison. With moats round, a good defenses. A new camp garrison. That They can stand on Their records in a defense. Yes suchlike a fortress with watchtowers along the long border fences. and Where they can splice out-duty arrows against the enemy. of Roma soldiers could attack from. Now could the enemies only come if They dare!

Just looked into the buried comments on pages 10 and 11, I'll see if verifying the integrity of the game cache works and if a certain mod is causing it (not sure which mod would be though, I have no unit roster / major overhaul mod enabled; just my loading images + building icon mods).

Hey Stealth, the Harpax (harpoon ship) for Rome doesn't seem to be doing its job. I sent more than one of them to board attack some ships in a naval battle, and it just stayed frozen (couldn't give it a different order) once it reached a certain range away from its target.

sorry but ive asked all over and cannot get help. can you please explain if its possible to remove the icons for unit categories on the unit card? like the heavy,light,meduim for spear,swords etc. i tried making the .png to 1 by 1 pixels and all it does is leave a yellow square wich covers some faces on unit cards

@Captain Hawk It is not supposed to fire any rocks. A conflict with another mod you may be using is probably causing that. But I am anyway still going to change and improve the mechanics of the Fire Raiser in a future update.

Amazing mod, only:
that new piece of artillery is really weak, of what I tried of it. Instead of fire, like at the gate during a siege-attack, it fired rocks similar to that of a ballista but it has far shorter range, and the impact had no effect unless I hit it directly on one person.
One funny thing though: I could make a screenshot in which one of these guys had a rock replacing his head XD

But if you could change that detail, I'd be very abliged :)

@|FTG| Sgt. Cate Yeah, that is the problem with the 3rd battle personality. I do not think I will be able to fix that. I could replace the standard bearer with the musician to make it work but I think that is also not the best solution. But last time I tested it, the muscians did not float in the air that often. So I think I will still keep them in the mod.

The musician's walking animation is just them floating in the air while walking without their instruments.
