Regarding the hidden elements mentioned a few comments below, the only thing that irked me slightly was that it wasn't entirely clear that the laser catcher would miraculously activate a light bridge to prevent the cube from falling off the button. While there was some signage that allowed me to guess it would happen, I would have preferred the traditional puzzlemaker signage to make it absolutely unambiguous. The gel was funny, and I'm really thankful that the second laser had a delay before turning off.

Idk, it did take me 4 or 5 tries, but like I said, that doesn't matter imo.
When I played through it a second time, I tried to break it and only managed to find a few very tricky little maneuvers that don't really add up to much.
In your description you have "Pretty easy, I think" crossed out. How did you do that? I've been wondering for sometime how that is done.
Oh, I made a friends only map called Quick-witted published about 3 weeks ago, I think you will like it!
Dave told me how to prevent the cube from flinging into the fizzler. That was the only part that had me thinking for a long time.
Great puzzle...thumbs up!
Technically the pedestal button isn't necessary, I just didn't want to restrict the player's movement. Maybe that could be a reason to overthink the puzzle...
Well I like to think an easy difficulty is when a player can solve a Author's test within a reasonable time, and that is if the player can see the solution right away, but for me I can't seem to figure out the puzzle!
I spent about 45 minutes in there and it boggles my mind, i'll have to come back to this one a little later.
didn't play the original
