Hey I liked the mod too. :P Just need help balancing it, it just doesn't feel right at the moment.
I've attmepted to get his attention, but I don't think he's logging it as I've had no response from him at all.

Perhaps the liquid8tor would send you his files if you ask(and he logs on and sees it). You would still have to update the mod of course...but might save some time.

Thanks for doing this. :)

1vs1 takes 4 minutes too(without your mod)

Thanks, I'll run a couple tests of my own and see how it turns out.

in vannilia it just takes 4 minutes(Unmodded Rome)

Did you compare this to the same set up in vanillia? (Unmodded Rome) More tests are always welcome.

First test result: 2vs2 in custome battle ,all of units are armoured leginaries, and my armys surround the enemy ,and it takes 13 minutes to crash the enemy ... A little long.Do you need more test result ?

ok , I will have a try

It should be. I've done a few tests for how long combat takes, but my results continue to vary. (I've mostly done 1v1 or 2v2 with identical armies, no abilities/formations used) Sometimes it takes a few more minutes, sometimes it's exactly the same as vanilla. Please let me know what results you get.

theliquid8or hasn't been heard from (so far as I know) in months. I have sent him a FR so I can get in touch with him, but so far no dice. As for his previous version, I considered that route already. I actually looked through the files for it before starting this, and strangely enough, didn't see anything that he'd changed that, as far as I know, should affect combat, so I'm not entirely sure where to start in order to update it.

Maybe if you try to contact the author via steam message, you could get his permission to just take over the mod and then make his latest released version compatible with the current version of the game and add any other tweaks you would like too it.

Either way I wish you luck, because I did want to try out his mod, granted I wanted to try the DEI version, but I was late to the game and it was already out of date.

I rather enjoyed FLAM, so I'd like to see at least something similiar come back. :)
In my own tests this doesn't seem to be working quite right, please let me know how it's working for you.
