Yeah, I've already done that on the version I'm using in my game right now, but (unfortunately) the bastard launcher won't allow me to update it for some reason! It occasionally happens, and I just need to wait until it works.

Just so everyone knows, this mod is still compatible with the game. Nevertheless, I'll update it to put people's minds at ease when it says that older mods are installed upon startup.

@Xirius Thanks for letting me know, I've fixed those now.

@Everyone Due to the upcoming patch and DLC campaign, I have decided to update this mod -
it will now work with the latest patch. In this new update, I have added new loading screen images (e.g. Empire Divided, Prologue campaigns etc), fixed some of the borders associated with some of the images (e.g. there were some Greek borders on images showing Carthage) and, since Empire Divided's background is blue, changed the Greek background / borders to orange.

Sweet! Just a quick nitpick: Many of the images that show Carthaginian soldier are given the Wrath of Sparta background image, perhaps you thought them to be Greeks?

Well I'm not going to keep the vanilla ones, purely because I don't think that they'd fit with the rest of the images that I'd be adding as it'd be inconsistent with the aesthetic and I don't think my subscribers would like that. I also think that the concept art-style ones damage the immersion of the game, hence why I made the mod to replace them in the first place. You can add them back in yourself, though. It's very easy to mod graphics / UI in Rome II with the Pack File Manager.

I think they used to only show for land/naval battle loading screens in the previous version. The latest update made all loading images visible during land/naval battle loading screens, but I'm not sure.

Hey thanks - there aren't any categories of loading screen, they're all the same so they'll all load for any loading screen.

Hey, nice mod but one question,
is it normal that the loading screens for land and sea battles are the same as for the loading of a campaign? (i do not think so?)

sorry if wrong place to ask but ive tried all over and cannot get help with how to remove the unit cards category icon. i have different cards like commnaders arena mod and they block the faces..i changed the .png for alot of units and the square icon that describes like heavy,light,meduim - spears,swords, generals etc is what i want to remove. please help

Hi Benjin, I used a mod similar to yours, but with full screen images of the loading UI, many of these loading screens were the same of the promotional content of CA, could you make a version of your mod were the images are full screen width? Some of them are really beautiful and gorgeous if not cutted by the frame :) If you need I can provide you the mod link or sending it by mail, thanks you :)

Hmm, I had a look at that one image and, when I looked closer at the image, I could see a bit of blur on the left-side of the statue(?), so I see what you mean. Unfortunately I can't really do much about that since it was from a video cutscene and most of the frames of that one shot really do look like that. I suppose I could touch it up a bit in Photoshop to make it less obvious.

However, I did see some parts of the other images taken from videos which were far too sharp in some places. I'll be editing those out a bit next time I updated, which may probably be next weekend.

It can be my game. Since I've noticed that cutscenes are a bit blurry/kinda low-res. Also, I've got major texture popping even though I play on extreme...

But one image I can come to think of is "statue" (whats the correct word for it?) kind of thing in the CiG cutscene which Julius Caesar stares on while talking about being outnumbered etc.

Due to how popular this mod has proved to be, I have uploaded an ATTILA version of this mod for TW:A. Thank you guys so much for your support!

Once I've finished this Semester of university, I'll continue with the ATTILA-Style Building Icon mod, and maybe start a more complicated mod (seeing how I know how to use 3D, I might as well put it to use).

@hyper2ego That kind of mod is no easy task, otherwise it would have been uploaded already by other modders such as Dresden (who made the "City Sack, Liberation & Diplomatic Options" mod).
