As you may have guessed, I also didn't use the tutorial mechanic

I solved it without using the flip panel and the four surfaces to get there

The core/ending move is not my cup of tea, so I appreciate the tutorial room.

@Nobody No-One glad you enjoyed it! I agree with what you said, but it's been a pain to edit this map because it constantly hits the item limit, so I'm not sure I'll be able to change it >w<

Nice map; indeed the tutorial room was an important addition. I agree with Aneonen that the exit condition is a little unnecessarily obscured by the hidden piston platform, which made me think I needed to do something quite different. Thumbs up.

@bullfrog glad to hear you appreciate the tutorial room addition. Thanks for playing, and adding it to your favourites ^w^

I played this excellent puzzle back in May 2018 and gave it a big thumbs up, but said “I would have added to my favourites apart from that one bit.” Now that you have added a tutorial room that teaches the player ” that one bit,” I’m now really happy to added it to my favourites :)

@Aneonen Glad to finally hear some feedback on the intro room. I added it years ago as the general consensus seemed quite negative towards the solution of this map. I was worried it'd ruin the main puzzle, but from the sounds of it, that isn't the case. Thanks for letting me know :)

As for the weird ledge... I think I placed it in that way because occasionally the fling didn't reach if it weren't an angled panel. That, or maybe I didn't like how it looked how you'd bump into the exit itself after the fling, or it clashed with the light bridge placement? I dunno, It's been so long, so I don't quite remember xD

Another map using a creative puzzle mechanic. Thank you for the intro room: it helped me keep that move in my mind so I could use it later without giving away the way I would need to use it. I totally didn't realize that I could just walk up to the exit from the ledge below it though: I thought there might be more puzzle left after making it there.

I really like the mechanism(s) you created in this puzzle, but it had me beaten. I got the gel where I wanted it and then tried all sorts of things, but could not crack it, so I looked at the walkthrough; yep I did all that, apart from standing on the edge of two portals while the cube travels back ! Well, it’s a new one on me and, I suppose, not a glitch, which I would never have thought of and I’m unsure whether I like that bit or not. The rest of the puzzle was excellent, quite challenging, but not frustrating or boring. Big thumbs up and I would have added to my favourites apart from that one bit.

I can't believe I finally made it out of there, now to watch the video to see if I did it correctly. If so, that final move was crazy.
Hazellius  [author] 29 Aug, 2017 @ 2:19pm
@Libbybapa It's just for decoration. I've been thinking of removing it, as this map needs quite the overhaul in general. Hopefully my answer clears things up for now at least.
Libbybapa 29 Aug, 2017 @ 12:45pm
What's up with the frankencube? Is that just for decoration? It seems to be completely caged without any portalable surfaces inside the cage. I'm reluctant to watch the vid and give spoilers and also reluctant to spend a lot of time and mental energy on it if it is just for decoration.

@jandlml And here's the solution video! :steamhappy: https://youtu.be/drS8K-eX4E8

i couldnt figure out what the other side of the map was for. the only thing i couldnt think of was fo oscilating a gel blob. but why?hmm?
Hazellius  [author] 19 Mar, 2017 @ 7:40pm
@jandlml it's solvable. I'm working on a solution video.
I can try to give you a hint for now: The blue gel is needed to get to the exit, but it's not the core move of the puzzle. The core move is... rather unconventional.
jandlml 19 Mar, 2017 @ 6:40pm
can this be solved? or is it just an idea? becuse im seeing the solution just not how to get there. do you need to find a way to get gel on the bridge under the door so you can jump up to the door.but also having to find a way to get on the bridge
