The project was stalled and ultimately stopped because of problems with the modding tools. It's in perfectly working order with no game breaking bugs, so you can still enjoy it, new classes included! Adding new content however proved nigh impossible without causing issues.
We've since moved to Age of Wonders: Planetfall.

I play yours mod and its little too hard. I play on hard difficult and there are too many monsters i yours IV-tier especialy undeads.
Maybe I`m a noob, but if I play normal difficult mod I play good, but another things are too simple.

I believe the complications stem from this mod, as its the most recent I added.
All Mythic and Epic building types are the newer version, for example I only see the building that makes Tree of Life, and the Temple of the Serpent building never appears.

Your description still mention the upload bug, it has been solved by the devs though. If you still have it, you should really report it to the devs as I suggested in June, it would be a shame not to update a mod that seems nice (haven't played it).

A poll will be launched to elect and rank the 20 best mods of AoW3 as of 2017. Please also comment on the mods already listed so that we can see which are the favourites to be in the shortlist.
New Dawn is not in the list as nobody proposed it, time to stand up for your mod if you like it (talking to the players, not the modders). :)

You should just report your issue to devs here: http://aow.triumph.net/forums/topic/mod-uploadingdownloading-problem I'm sure they'll find a fix if you provide enough details.

Thank you for the support :), I have updated the description with some minor info. In case we figure out how to make the update work, we'll probably update the sister mod mostly, to keep the main mod stable(I might try to look into the dropbox update method as a workaround, thanks Nekomata :) ).

Gaider, do what Liberty Valance did when the uploader was being stupid, put it up on dropbox and tell people to extract it to the user content folder

Hello folks. Firstly I'd like to thank for the positive feedback. Unfortunately I have been unable to make the update work - I've done some research, it seemst hat similar problems are tied to antivirus or launching the manager directly instead of through the game launcher, but none of these worked.. the steam button is still greyed out when I try to update. At this point, I would very much hate to mess the mod up with some wild experiments (it is in a stable and playable state).

Dmcf, I do not know if it is compatible, you need to try out :).

Hello folks. Thank you for the comments and support :). We are happy the mod is still used by so many. I have looked into some issues and will be preparing small updates but at this moment I'm faced with an issue I have not anticipated - when I tried to upload new update, the mod tools do not allow me to upload content to steam. Is anyone aware of any recent changes in this system? (The steam tab is simply greyed out)

Hey Vulpoid. I'm sorry for the delay but unfortunately I have no idea what could have gone wrong regarding the trouble with PBEM savegame. We haven't updated the main mod for quite some time and are working only on the testmod atm.

Hey! I have started compiling a list of things that need to be fixed on the test version(HotND). So far there is some 20-30 minor tweaks/fixes that need to be done. I'll take a look at the dwarven weapons (there was a request to reduce size of dwarf units a few months back, which we did - but we probably did not reduce the weapon size accordingly).

Sounds like a good idea. I like it, but not the screenshots of the units. Is it really necessary to give them weapons with blades or hammer heads so big it looks like they couldn't even lift them?

Warhammers did not have huge hammer heads - because that would have made them useless for fighting. They had small and often pointed heads, to pierce armour with.

Oh THAT :). It's the development mod that enables several other (semi playable, most bug free) new classes. You just need to add me to friends list as it is friends only. I have to warn you though, it's a testing mod so there might be some wild units/spells/abilities/theories running about. Right now I'd say the Alchemist and Templar are pretty much working, with Dread Lord being a little bit wild.

As far as kickstarter/patreon.. I have considered that idea while working on several projects(New Dawn included).. we've spent good 400-500 hours of work on the current version of New Dawn and Heroes of the New Daw, doing all the writing, drawing and related stuff ourselves, if not for the mod tool trouble and stability issues a few months back, the project would have probably been somewhere completely else :(.

Hey folks. As I have mentioned here earlier, I still keep an eye on the comments and might put up together a small patch in the future. For now though there are no bug reports so nothing immediate to fix, and I'd rather not poke into it with some wild changes - the current stable state is preferable to me suddenly hopping on, poking in things and ruining the game for folks for a few days :).

Hello Pyrofish. The abilities are not available to any unit that can be currently obtained(only Dev testing units and dev testing maps). There is an entire system of Lair/adventure site/resource structure building abilities that allow the player to construct nearly anything given certain conditions are met. (Imagine building a monster spawner on the borders of enemy realm to annoy them :) ). We were in the phase of testing these when the modkits trouble hit us and caused several sleepless nights :(.

Hello folks. I still keep an eye on the workshop page, but it has been some time since I personally fixed/added anything to this specific mod. I know that some of the issues that plagued the mod tools have been fixed, but the several episodes of problems we had even with minor patches made us .. let us say wary of trying to change anything, in order not to blow things up.
