Great chamber, just got stuck on the part where you have to land on the bridge. Really satisfying

Wow, The opening chamber was good, but I did not expect the 2nd room. it was stunning and extremely satisfying to solve.

Blindrun
If it weren’t for the extremely finicky physics of angled panels (and even with that), this might just be the best No Elements map I’ve played yet. It puts literally EVERYTHING you learn in the main No Elements series (and then some) to the test, wrapped in gorgeous BEE2 aesthetics - love the liberal use of the various custom mini-blocks it provides you with.

I was quite satisfied with the first chamber, what with its reusage of the first area - I knew since it wasn’t blocked off that I would have to go back and reuse it, dunno why I wasted my portals to get to the far side then . Had no clue the best part was waiting. Tons of little rooms, each serving their own vital role. Piecing everything together was really fun, especially the part with the two angled panels on either side of that small bridge.
zigzagtenniscoe 18 Jul, 2024 @ 3:57am
That was very hard to execute for me - I have no idea why jumping into the panels hurt my cause (even though I know when flinging angled panel to angled panel on level ground you needn’t jump). I thought it was necessary to get the momentum required to fling to the lower angled panel - but for some reason that fucks up the very end when you land on the bridge, whereas not jumping just barely gives you what you needed. I think the first time I did the correct sequence of moves I was really close, and that’s what inspired me to continue trying, since I was aware of the finickiness of the momentum physics in this game when it comes to those sorts of things.
zigzagtenniscoe 18 Jul, 2024 @ 3:56am
I was 99% sure I had the correct solution, but my confidence dropped after time and time again of failing. It did take a peek at the comments to see that, maybe, no jumping was all I needed. I tried it reluctantly, failing the first time to gain the momentum I needed - it’s when the angled panel halts you very briefly that it messes up your momentum, but if you just “walk” into it rather than trying to control your descent into the portal it’s fine.

In any case, about halfway through my attempts I took a look around at the rest of the chamber and knew pretty much right away what I needed to do, so when I finally cleared the hurdle involving the angled panels on uneven ground I solved it almost immediately. Really like the Air Traffic-esque moves at the end!

That was the perfect difficulty after playing the No Elements collection. I adore this! It feels better than you know what!
karmang 23 Sep, 2023 @ 4:49pm
Took me hours to beat it, but oh boy it was worth it!
It's that kind of puzzle where you need think and react quickly.
10/10 (imagine the trouble to perfectly calculate all of those flyings)

loved it

Great puzzle but extremely finnicky if you don't know not to jump before entering diagonal portals.
QuadStick 27 Jul, 2021 @ 10:56pm
This is one of my all time favorites.
Mr Fab 18 Jun, 2021 @ 4:14am
This was so much fun to play with a clean solution !

Very nice puzzle! Like other people have said, the fling between two angled panels to get to the centered glass platform was my favorite part, even if it was just a bit finicky. This chamber also has some really good design in general which I appreciate. It looks quite good and a lot of the jumps have been made to be less tight than they strictly need to be, e.g. the player has an extra tile of height to make most vertical flings, and at the very end you can keep looping between the farthest angled panels if you miss the portal shot onto the central one the first few times.

Oh I see, thank you
SpielSatzFail 3 Jan, 2020 @ 6:05pm
Did you finish the map? The first door you see is not the exit, there's much more coming in the other half of the chamber ;-)
Ultimaximus 3 Jan, 2020 @ 5:15pm
I'm confused by the comments and screenshots, why does the chamber I'm playing for this look different? There's only 2 slanted platforms here, at the same height as each other
Burning 4 Oct, 2019 @ 12:17pm
The puzzle was going well for me until the panels at different heights -move which for some reason didn't work on my first attempt so I concluded it wasn't the right way, and I went around the map looking for other possibilities, until having finally ruled out everything else tried it again, and then it failed again even though on paper the move was done correctly, but on the third try it worked. So that inconsistency ended up being a source of frustration I think it would be caused by being able to place the portal on different spots on the panel, which might very slightly mess up the momentum if you clip the edge . Outside of that the design is nice though.
Nobody No-One 24 Apr, 2019 @ 4:27pm
@Narkodes I agree, though "No Elements: Connection" by Hazellius is also pretty good.
Narkodes 15 Apr, 2019 @ 7:21am
best no elements map so far!
mangomaster 6 Apr, 2019 @ 2:18pm
This map was amazing. By far my favorite no elements map, utilizes some really clever ways of gaining & maintaining momentum. Really inspired to try making one for myself now.
Joric 19 Mar, 2019 @ 9:50pm
Reminds quake maps ;) I thought there was only one room. God I was mistaken.
Teo 12 Mar, 2019 @ 3:04pm
oh wow was that really well done! I agree with what @Mikeastro said 100% probably my favorite part of the level. Stumbled upon the ending move accidentally by placing the wrong portal, I've never seen that infinite loop thing used so well before. Great job, no elements maps are hard to make as almost everything's been done before but this is incredible
Mikeastro 6 Jul, 2018 @ 11:21am
Excellent map; I like the thing you did with the two angled panels at different heights
Almisuifre  [author] 5 Jun, 2018 @ 11:47am
It's always a pleasure to read about satisfaction after many work put on a map, thanks !
@SpielSatzFail: besides Hazellius 'Connection'? Nice, this is also one of my favorite No Elements map ;)
Leo 3 Jun, 2018 @ 1:08pm
Wow, this was absolutely brilliant! Both the puzzles and design are amazing, good job! I made my first No Elements maps recently and I know how hard it is, so I'm very impressed right now. Thanks for sharing this masterpiece, favourite for sure!
SpielSatzFail 2 Jun, 2018 @ 3:21pm
Wow, besides Hazellius' "Connection" my absolute favorite from the No Elements collection.
I'm so glad I finally made it myself, without any hints. Took me pretty much an hour :-O
I knew those two angled panels would sum up to something ^^
What a tremendous job! Thumbs up!!!
Nobody No-One 8 Apr, 2018 @ 8:43pm
Really fun maneuvers!
anpy 10 Nov, 2017 @ 1:06pm
Great puzzle. I prefered the first room, as it was simpler to execute than the second one (last move was kinda tricky). Thumbs up and favorite :)

nice map but the place where you had to land on the glass pane was a bit tricky.

Looks good, but I'm not good at, in fact rubbish at this type of ninja shooting

nice one, not too difficult but enjoyable

Watch that last step, it's a doozy.
QuadStick 7 Oct, 2016 @ 12:41pm
Holy cow! That was awsome!
Almisuifre  [author] 5 May, 2016 @ 8:35am
Thanks Requiemsoul ! I built the whole map around that last maneuver ;)
Nice to see you here and to know you enjoy my other chambers.
Requiemsoul 16 Apr, 2016 @ 11:38am
A lot of fun chamber. The last maneuver is amazing. A favorite. Interchange, Flutter or Chrysalis also are fantastic. Very well done, as allways.
DeathWish808 4 Jan, 2016 @ 3:05pm
Yeah, I think it was perfectly done, but I'm just out of practice on fling maps. Unfortunately due the the lack of them that are any good like this one. I need to go back and play the No Elements tests again. :-P
Almisuifre  [author] 4 Jan, 2016 @ 3:01pm
Thanks DeathWish, nice run ! Strange that the ending fling first failed, I tested it a lot (it's the climax!) For that very last step, it's also possible for less skilled players to shoot only one portal per fling :)
DeathWish808 3 Jan, 2016 @ 10:27am
I love these kinds of fling maps. Great fun. Nice use of the angled blocks too. Very well laid out.

I did (walking into portal) but only 3-5 times before. Now I've tried more and finally reach the bridge. Hardcore:)
Almisuifre  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 8:30am
It's because of jumping to cross the portal. Since the chamber's begin, many angled momentums don't work this way, so simply walking into portals become the most intuitive way here (and more precise). I guess you didn't made it for the previous ones. I'll maybe enlarge the landing area to prevent this. Thanks for playing !

Is that the right move? What am I doing wrong? (tried 30-35 times but can not reach the bridge even once)
MicroElf 17 Dec, 2015 @ 10:58pm
OK, the problem was only in my execution, pretty tough.
Almisuifre  [author] 16 Dec, 2015 @ 5:47am
The very 1st step shows a key move for the whole map. Check also the hint I posted in the comments, it's for both chambers. Hope it will help.
MicroElf 15 Dec, 2015 @ 9:43pm
Can not pass first room. How you do this?
dire.fcs 1 Dec, 2015 @ 8:04am
Wow, not my favorite style (no elements) and I played just a few, but this one is really awesome, very good use of the 'no elements' :), and I'm favorite this one!
Almisuifre  [author] 4 Nov, 2015 @ 3:34pm
Thanks IVO, nice to read such a comment after the work I put in this map :)

This is not only one of the best no elements tests I've played, this is one of the best portal puzzles ever! The layout is fantastic, every fling is mesured precisely as it needs to and visually the map just looks cool I played it before the update and even though the area with the white ceiling and floor wasn't neededfor the puzzle to work, I still loved the whole map. I now see what you had in mind though and it's even better!

I finally got it, the key is to repeat the trick from the first chamber to cross the divide while keeping a portal in the first room; when you are at the back third with the two diagonal panels at different heights facing each other, and you still have a portal in the up-down room, you have to jump through those diagonal panels in the right order (top first) to slow your momentum and get onto the bridge while retaining a portal in the up-down room - excellent puzzle as the others have said!
