Really brilliant puzzle. Amazing how much use and reuse of elements and spaces you were able to fit into such a small area with so few elements. I really enjoyed solving this map. Thumbs up and favorited.

Great puzzle. I tried to do this a while ago, but failed, so thought I'd come back and try again. I'd like to say I did it this time without looking at the walkthrough, but that would be a lie :(. But that's my problem, not yours, thumbs up.

*watches video for confirmation of found cheesy solution*
Welp, looks like I bent the map, rather than outright broke it. =p

In getting the first light bridge set up, I wrote off the use of jumping to get the portal placement on the laser from the bridge, since that didn't seem intended. I used the button cage to set up the laser, then host_timescale to make sure I could place both portals when I went up to the top.

From there, solution was the same untill getting a new box. I pressed the button, and let the box funnel through to the other side. Next, I made sure to put the funnel on the opposite wall over the water as high as it would go on the panel. Once I drew level with the panels on the left, I wriggled up and placed the portal as low as it could go on them, thereby sucking me towards that wall.

RedSilencer  [author] 9 Feb, 2016 @ 2:06pm
Good question, and the answer is you can't... BUT, I do know of some puzzles that are very difficult and similar to this one. I'll list them in ascending difficulty:
RedSilencer  [author] 9 Feb, 2016 @ 2:06pm
Almisuifre - Tabula Rasa
camerson1313 - Fly
Gig - Dovetail
quaternary - Express
BEN 77 - Polarity
Enigmatic - Neurones en Reflexion 17
toncica/cyhborg - C-Vertex
toncica/prototype/Dreamer - Sandificator
toncica/Requiem - Past History for Experts

there is no sort by "difficulty" button in workshop. How can i find the most difficult maps ?
asd417 25 Jan, 2016 @ 1:24am
it seems like I can download the BEE2 mod from github. Should have searched a bit :) Anyway, Thanks
RedSilencer  [author] 23 Jan, 2016 @ 11:24pm
yeah I have the installer and some addons you can use. I'll upload it tomorrow for you, add me as a friend. :)
asd417 23 Jan, 2016 @ 11:19pm
It turns out I use that method, too and looks like it is the only way XD btw, do you have a copy of BEE2 mod that you can send it to me? thinkingwithportals.com is down so practically, there is no way I can get it.
RedSilencer  [author] 23 Jan, 2016 @ 10:46pm
Also, pti is very bad at making antline connects but if you know what you are doing, with the help of bee2, you can manipulate them very carefully to get good looking antlines connects. It takes a very very long time.

A lot of time spent reworking the layout, fixing problems, adjusting this and that... I force myself to have a "no compromises" mentality when it comes to centering things on walls and minimal portal surfaces. I'm constantly play testing and making sure everything is clean, easy to do, and doesn't have any "breaks". It takes a long time and I feel lucky to have so many friends that play test things for me and recommend changes, I always listen. I give credit to the guys that help develop the layout and the general route of the puzzle, but this puzzle is so far removed from its original version it's difficult to compare. This is one of my best maps that I'm most proud of. :)
asd417 23 Jan, 2016 @ 10:03pm
how do you make this kind of map? Its very hard and interseting
RedSilencer  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 3:20pm
(but mostly toncica)
RedSilencer  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 3:20pm
(and toncica)
RedSilencer  [author] 21 Dec, 2015 @ 3:20pm
I appreciate your response, firegodjr. Thanks :) If you want to try a different "super-logic" puzzle, I recommend Sandificator , by Prototype.
firegodjr 21 Dec, 2015 @ 2:38pm
This is very difficult, stumped me. Had to watch the walkthrough. You did great on this, I haven't found many maps that confused me as much as this one did. Great job.
jandlml 7 Dec, 2015 @ 10:28pm
its actually one of my favorite of yours
jandlml 7 Dec, 2015 @ 10:28pm
thats to bad. i dont thumb down juat because i get stuck.im just annoying and constantly wanting help. lol
RedSilencer  [author] 7 Dec, 2015 @ 10:24pm
Yeah I was monitoring the stats of this map through this week because Lepi did a super-simplified remake of this map. It got up to 19 thumbs up out of the 100 or so people that played it, and then suddenly a dislike. Probably someone who couldn't solve it, but hey who knows? I want constructive criticism, but I rarely get it.
jandlml 7 Dec, 2015 @ 10:20pm
maybe the had a hard time like i did at first. you have to stop and think every step 3 steps ahead. if you like logic this is for you
RedSilencer  [author] 6 Dec, 2015 @ 5:56pm
Hey hey finally got a dislike on this map! Haha!
jandlml 15 Nov, 2015 @ 12:50am
this is an amazing chamber. i found it very difficult but i like that. thanks again red for getting me to the finish line. thumbs way up and favorited
Andi 4 Nov, 2015 @ 7:18pm
Hopelessly stuck.
The MAD Fool 9 Oct, 2015 @ 5:18pm
YOUR DOING WRONG IF:

1) You quick grab the cube in the orange funnel from the other side of the portal.
2) Toss the cube while in the funnel on to the button.

I did both and I did it wrong! I cannot believe I did not see the correct solution sooner! I think both moves can be prevented, but all the same-- nice puzzle! I just hope no one else stumbles on the moves I made. Yes, there were no dirty tricks as you said!
RedSilencer  [author] 5 Oct, 2015 @ 10:31am
Alm, I took your advice and tried to make it a little easier to perform. I also just patched Polux's fancy breaks after about an hour of bashing my head against the wall... Thanks guys! :D
Almisuifre 4 Oct, 2015 @ 11:05am
Very interesting puzzle. Some steps could have been more intuitive IMO : the last bridge part, and the jumps in the funnel but I enjoyed it a lot. An entertaining puzzle in a simple layout, the kind I prefer :)
RedSilencer  [author] 3 Oct, 2015 @ 11:31am
Thanks jade! Make your chamber for sure, I'd love to check it out!
I'd like to throw some of that "brilliance" credit over to toncica for helping me work out the unfavorable kinks in this. There's still a little more work to do, considering polux's funny breaks.
Jade BGE 2 Oct, 2015 @ 7:34pm
I love it and am already thinking of a chamber inspired by it - or at least how I think it is supposed to be done. You are a brilliant person!!! Awesome!
RedSilencer  [author] 2 Oct, 2015 @ 7:06pm
I will update the map to fix Polux's break and create a walk through for it. Although, my version is very similar to toncica's version, this one is slightly harder to do (less assistance from other objects)
Jade BGE 2 Oct, 2015 @ 2:00pm
I think I know the solution to this! (if true that is exciting and new for me) Though I can see as you say that it is a clean to perform thing to do - I have been unsuccessful as of yet. I wish I could be sure.
Polux 2 Oct, 2015 @ 10:54am
I struggled on this one, good job.
Rector 29 Sep, 2015 @ 11:30pm
Very good logic puzzle. A lot of fun to solve. Favorited. :B1:
